Sicko Chickz

San jose has been a great spot for food vendors diplaying there food craft! Especially Chicken Sandos and there spin on them! This vendor definitely comes with a punch of real flavor and juicy chicken sandos! Great portions! Very delicious and fulfilling! And there Waffle fries taste so good! Crispy and fresh! Service was so kind! Very pleasant and helpful! Patience is key! Especially when it comes to vendors who don't have as much staff! It makes it much better knowing your food is being prepared at the highest quality . The line wasn't long! We had a few people before us so we waited at most 20 minutes! Not bad all! Atmosphere was presented very well!

We tried Sicko Chickz tonight for the first time. We both thought it was very good. We both tried the tender combo with fries. The chicken was so moist and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I love their pickles. It goes so well with the sicko sauce.The Waffle cut fries were seasoned perfectly and were crispy, I don't know how they do their bread but it's so delicious I have never seen a chicken food truck give such quality in food. It's very spacious outside with plenty of seating and the staff are super friendly. I would definitely be coming back.

I hate giving this spot a subpar rating since the service was beyond friendly and nice. I ordered the chicken sandwich which had some tenders inside. The chicken was seasoned well similarly to a lot of the other chicken shops in the area. However, the chicken was overcooked and dry. Maybe I'm spoiled having eaten at chicken shops in Nashville and all the other ones in SJ. The seasoning was not similar since the ones there are typically dipped in a hot oil seasoning mix where this has more of a dry rub. I also didn't taste any brine in the chicken which could've made it more tender and gives a little more leeway to overcook. The fries were all very flaccid, but were at least seasoned well. The sauce is what I expect from a chicken spot like this. Maybe I came on an off day, but I'm hoping the execution of the chicken gets better since the service is fantastic.

I'm not the biggest fan of fried chicken sandwiches but this place definitely, I can say with full confidence, the best spicy chicken sandwiches! The food is incredibly fresh for coming out of a food truck and the fries and seasonings are to die for! The service is always amazing and the guys are incredibly chill. The seating area has a nice vibe. Please check these guys out!

Pretty solid value fried chicken spot with a cute twist with their waffle sandwich variant. It's definitely high up in value with how much food you get in a combo. Sicko Chikz is situated in a small gas station lot as a grab and go food truck, so don't be expecting to eat here. Close in spirit to gas station food trucks of other names in the area. As far as service goes, we had a 25min wait for 4 people in front, so expect a bit of a wait if you're coming during peak hours.Menu is pretty straightforward with several combos to pick from, but differences aligned more with the item than combo.2/5 = Fries were rather soft and cold, but well seasoned. Packed in a separate container, which is well appreciated since most other spots would just cram it all in the single styrofoam tray. That said, could use a bit of work here.4/5 = Sandwiches are basically one tender long, makes part of the sandwich a bit "empty" and slightly imbalanced size-wise. Tenders are breast meat, reasonably moist with a slight dryness at the thickest part. The bread is heavily buttered in that good old artery clogging way; very nicely aromatic. Slaw is fresh. Sauce is pretty dope too. and they give you more on the side for dipping. Little packet of honey for the regular sandwich too.4/5 = Waffle sandwiches were interesting, with reasonably good execution. Not sure if it's my cup of tea though. The waffle is on the brittle side, but has large sugar crystals for a nice crunch so the texture contrasts is very interesting. Sauce and syrup is on the side for this one. There's a bit too much sweetness and the sauce doesn't quite do enough for savory flavor, plus the moisture could use a bit of rebalancing (overall dry). Interesting to try though since it's objectively a great Belgian waffle, I'm just not sure about the combo.

Sicko Chickz's spice is no joke. I usually like to get medium spice when it comes to chicken sandwhiches, but this spice level is more on the hot side!The spice creeps up on you and when you eat the sandwhich right when it's hot and fresh, it's even spicier in my opinion.As for the fries, it's decent. There wasn't really a wow factor for me. Had the sauce drizzled on top of the fries!Overall would come back again and get mild instead. I was able to finish 95% of my burger and the other sanwhich was only 50% eaten (since it was too spicy for him lol)

Checked out this food truck because we always drove past it -- This place is definitely a hidden gem. The loaded fries were INSANE and a huge portion, I'm still trying to finish it. This is more of a personal preference, but if you love pickles like me then just know that they do NOT skimp out on them. 5/5 alone for that.I'm pretty sure it was made fresh to order because the guy who took our order let us know it'll be 15 minutes before it was ready, so we were able to wait in the car for a bit. Not pictured, but their garlic fries were also sooo good.Would definitely come back to try their other combos.

One of the east sides newest chicken spots Honestly this truck was pretty fire ! It's brand new but I've been seeing them all over my Instagram and finally was able to make my round and damnnn this place was SHMACKKKKK ! And hella fat pieces of chicken ! I got the regular because it was for both my son and I but I wasn't sure which one he would want so I got them all regular non spicy. The flavor was really good , the sauce they have is more different than other chicken spots but in a good way I really enjoyed it ! The waffle itself was nice and crispy but still soft at the same time sweet but not over powering it was the perfect blend of sweet , tangy , and crunch.I'd definitely recommend! :) it's in a cutty spot in a gas station but PULL UP PULL UP!

Sarah c. i wish i had seen your review first. For those who didn't see it let me warn you, this place is spicy. I like thai hot and this is up there. Those who eat spicy, start at medium. if you think you are immute to heat, go knock yourself out. There are lots of good chicken sandwiches places out there but this one takes me right back to prince's in Nashville. it's crunchy, spicy, and just gets all over my face which is still tingling as i type this.I didn't like the fries, could be an annomaly but i had little pieces as if it was at the end of the bag. The other thing is i felt they gave me too much fries. They can easily reduce the portion of fries and still be a good value.If Nashville hot chicken sandwhich is your thing, give these guys a try.

Agghhhh this place would be so good if it was consistent. It's a hit or miss. Been here a couple times and the fries are literally ALWAYS a mystery basket. I order to eat at the seating provided in the food truck area. So not taking to go. The fries this time cameOut soggy, over cooked, oily and both hot and cold? The chicken was insanely oily! I know this truck can be amazing. But there's no consistency. Help! I love your seasonings and fries when made right!
