Absolutely amazing place. Everything from the salad bar to the BBQ meats were a perfect 10. Excellent service all around. Big banquet room for big family reunion. 這是我在灣區吃過最好的巴西烤肉之一。大力推薦。

4.5 STARSDate: Saturday, December 28th, 2024Time: 3pmParty of: 5Meal: Birthday Late Lunch / Early DinnerReservation Made: via OpenTable the same day*Dinner Rodizio ($74.95) x5*Premium Caipirinha ($16)*Espolon Salty Paloma ($14)*Barrel Aged Manhattan ($14)*Coke ($3.95)*Regular Cork Fee ($25) x2*Complimentary DessertFor a girlfriend's bday meal, we decided to try Show de Carnes. I've been to the older brazilian steak houses in the bay area - Fogo, Espetus, etc, so I'm familiar with the concept. Here, they have an extensive salad bar with of all things, sushi. I was trying to be meat centric, so I just stuck to the tableside service. I did grab some fruit at the end tho.I've always been a fan of picanha. That crusty fatty juicy meat. So good! The version here did not disappoint. I did try the majority of all the red meats - sirloin, ribeye, filet, ribs, lamb, etc. Most of the beef was great as I could find a rare-ish piece. But the lamb was all overcooked. Especially the lamb chops. So well done! They did give us some sauces for everything which helped. I enjoyed the chimichurri. If you don't want to deal with crowds, I do suggest coming in between lunch and dinner. It was very chill. We spent a good 2.5 hours here, so went into the beginning of dinner service. It was starting to get more packed as we left.Service was great. We never had to wait too long for more food. They also gave us a complimentary dessert for my gf's bday which was much appreciated.Fun place to have a special occasion meal. Any meat lover would be happy.REVIEW #3676

They are pricey for the quality and choices of meat ($75/pp). We all ate, left... and had stomach cramps all night. To the management:- your chairs are flimsy and light. My son almost fell backwards and the lady behind us dropped the chair backwards almost hitting us. - ask ppl if they want processed and unfresh cheese on their mashed potatoes.

Delicious! We're big fans of Brazilian barbecue and have been to some around the Bay Area. The salad bar is a little unique in comparison to others as they have sushi, but keep in mind that it's a fairly small selection. The fish quality was good and they mostly had nigiri and rolls! I will say that their overall salad bar is smaller than other places such as Fogo, Espetus, or Galpao but it was still an impressive selection. I especially liked their leek salad. The meat itself was great! It was cooked a little better than other places, however, some cuts were definitely on the rare side. Our only complaint is that we didn't see some of the meats they had listed on the menu, even after an hour of eating. Of course the cinnamon covered pineapple was the highlight of the meal. It was freshly cooked and incredibly juicy and sweet. We actually asked our waitress if we could get the pineapple soon, and they came by fairly quickly afterwards! The service is incredible compared to other Brazilian barbecue restaurants. They were super attentive and were constantly refilling the complimentary sauces and asking if we needed anything. I also loved the hats that the meat servers were wearing! One thing to note is I wish they would not allow any flash video recordings or to seat those doing so in the corners of the restaurant. There was a table directly facing us and seated in the middle of the dining space who were taking videos during the entire meal with a very bright camera flash attachment. It definitely took away from our experience a lot because it was directly in our faces and continued during our entire meal. I also noticed some other tables looking uncomfortable during the recording. The restaurant itself has dimmer lighting so the constant flash light was really jarring.

I had such high hopes for this place but the slow service, the irregular circulation of the gauchos when near, and the worst part - FRUIT FLIES everywhere was so distasteful I could not enjoy the food. We completed skipped the salad bar after our first small plate of salad literally came to our table with 2 fruit flies imbedded in it. We did not go back up again for anything else. I flagged it to the hostess at the door and she just nodded that she was aware. For a $300 bill for four in Palo Alto, this place needs to be sparkling clean. I will not be back unless I hear this lace has gotten a full overhaul and removed all semblance of fruit flies. Eat at your own risk.

I've been waiting to come here for a while now especially at the original location up in Saucelito. We came here last night with my entire family to celebrate my aunt and uncle. First things first, the place isn't that big. From the outside, it already looks slightly small, the parking is pretty tough but luckily there is additional parking behind the apartment building, and the bathroom location is jam packed with two-single person bathrooms. The line gets pretty long which is unfortunate. I wish they did something about this, especially with the amount of people dining in.The service is top notch. Our servers were super quick, efficient, and full of compassion. They truly do care and don't show any attitude with whatever we asked for. The salad bar is slightly small but some key bar items that I enjoyed are the mussels, shrimp salad, ceviche, sweet onions and the sushi! I should warn you, the sushi isn't all that; basic Korean-style sushi mostly but we did highly enjoy the salmon sashimi. This was delicious! The meats were pretty good but not the best. My top favorites were their pork ribs, lamb chops and beef rib. These were seasoned perfectly with salt. The picanha steak was bland and way too bloody, the garlic steak was super salty, and the shrimp tasted a bit mushy. I didn't try their chicken or sausages so not sure how those tasted but I'm sure perfectly fine. I wasn't a fan of their grilled pineapple either; the pineapple from Espetus is way more cinnamon-sugar coated and flavorful than this one. Show de Carnes is better than Fogo, on par with Espetus but not as good as Galpão Gaucho. I'd give a solid B+ to Show de Carnes. It's not that far off though honestly. I really do like this establishment and I'd love to come back again. I'll most definitely come back with friends and family. As far as service goes, it's the best here!

My boyfriend made a reservation at Show de Carnes for my birthday dinner. After seeing they recently opened a 2nd location in Palo Alto (much closer than their Sausalito site!), this was our opportunity to check this spot out. Also Tuesday nights are Couples Night - parties of 2 for $99 total + tax (typically $74.95 per person for dinner). Our reservation was for 6 pm on a Tuesday night, but by 5:30, he got a text that our table was already ready! It worked out well for us, as we showed up at the restaurant by about 5:45. As others noted, the parking lot near the front of the restaurant is small, but there's a sign that can direct you to additional parking spots. Luckily, the dinner rush hadn't picked up yet, so we easily found a spot in the front. We got seated instantly upon arrival, and they instantly served us some pao de quiejo, mashed potatoes, and fried bananas to start off. We ventured over to the salad bar to start, where they had your standard fare of charcuteries, salad, and seafood, in addition to a small sushi bar and some Brazilian hot foods (chicken stroganoff, rice, black beans, and farofa). Of course, we're here for the meats! At Brazilian BBQ, they bring the meats to you. You use your card to indicate whether you want the meats (green side of card) or to hold off or now (red side). Garlic Pichana was the star meat of the show (juicy sirloin with lots of garlic flavor, can't go wrong!), but they have a lot of other meats, such as regular pichana, bottom sirloin, bacon-wrapped chicken, ribeye, filet mignon, grilled shrimp, beef ribs, and chicken hearts. All the meats that came by were incredibly flavorful, hot, and delicious. In addition, they also have some non-meat options, including grilled pineapple (my personal favorite - grilled with cinnamon, which helps with the pineapple's natural sweetness) and grilled cheese with honey. The servers were incredibly attentive and checked in on us regularly throughout the evening. Alongside the meat, I ordered a Strawberry Caipirinha and Brazilian Lemonade (non-alcoholic). The caipirinha was very smooth, but deceptively strong. Good thing you have a lot of meat to absorb the alcohol! The Brazilian Lemonade was incredibly delicious. A mix of lime, condensed milk, and sugar, you can easily find yourself drinking glass after glass - great thing that it's refillable! At the end of the night, because we were celebrating my birthday, they let me choose one dessert off the dessert menu (not the cakes) as a complimentary dessert. I selected the Brazilian Purim (Brazilian flan). They brought it out in a festive plate along with a candle, really bringing this amazing dinner to an end. The custard was incredibly creamy and the syrup wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. We'll for sure be back in the future if we're ever in the mood for another Brazilian BBQ night!
