My wife wins as usual, lol.Quality/Quantity - Simple menu done well.Traditional Shawarma (wrap) Chicken - Good, the fries to me were a little too salty, and I like salt...Mango Habanero Wings (5 of 10 piece order) - They fry their wings, and then pour sauce on it. This was NOT as spicy as I expected or wanted. But they were still good. Generous size wings though I felt the wings were over cooked and slightly dry. Glad they were meaty, otherwise it might have been really dry and bad.Honey and Garlic Wings (5 of 10 piece order) - Same as above, except one of the 5 wings was smaller in size. Why have I never been here before?! I got the chicken and beef rice platter and it was delicious! It also came with salad and hummus with pita. Flavors were amazing and chicken was juicy. Hummus was a little bit runny for me, so -1 star for that, but I will definitely be back to try more from the menu!

ShaQ is a fusion restaurant! Mix between Turkish and Indian food. I've never had that combination before but I must admit it was very good. They had a variety of options on the menu ranging from wraps to platters, all at a very reasonable price.I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and it came with rice, chicken shawarma, hummus, greek salad, and a side of pita bread. For $14, this was much more food than I was expecting. Everything was very flavorful and went together very nicely. I could tell the pita was also freshly made. It was warm and soft. Definitely recommend if you're in the Santa Clara area!

Food is pretty good here and the service is fast. The interior is a little more run down than your average restaurant but no biggie.FOOD [5/5]=========+ Gyro Combo Platter (3/5)Good portion size of gyro! The gyro was a little heavy and dry. I enjoyed the sauces and thought it was pretty tender. Unfortunately, I asked for a combo of 1/2 rice and 1/2 fries and only got fries, so docking a star. :( + Greek Salad (5/5)Really good, typical salad! Comes with banana peppers, feta cheese, an assortment of greens, and a light sauce. Good portion size. Would order again. :)

Came here for lunch with some friends, and unfortunately, was just not that impressed. Starting off, you order at the counter before sitting down. Ambience is slightly old hole-in-the-wall, with a few tables for dining in. We came on a hot day, and it was definitely warm inside - not ideal, but not too bad. I ordered a half and half platter with half butter chicken and half chicken shawarma. It was pretty average, nothing to write home about. It wasn't bad, just not that great (seems like the theme of this place for me). I was a bit disappointed, as I heard such rave reviews!Service was not bad, but we did have one hiccup. One of my friends ordered a side of falafel, which came in a styrofoam cup. After finishing the falafel, she realized that the heat of the falafel had melted a hole through the cup, so she had inadvertently eaten some styrofoam along with her falafel. We brought it to the attention of the store just so they knew / could correct for future orders, and while they were apologetic, I didn't feel like they responded to the situation all that well. They apologized, but it was a little awkward.. they said "sorry about that", but didn't follow up with something else like "we'll double check that this won't happen again" -- it felt more like an inexperienced response rather than them not caring though. I probably wouldn't come back here myself, but wouldn't mind tagging along if a friend wanted to eat here.

Pretty good and healthy! Just got a Chicken Kebab Platter for lunch and it was a fairly balanced, filling meal. Most of the platter was flavorful but the carbs were a bit lacking, tad dry and dependent on the rest of the food.Chicken Kebab Platter - comes with rice, pico de gallo on some salad, a potato pita, hummus, and two kebabs. I would have preferred hummus on the side because I'm not a big dip person and would rather use it sparingly (e.g. for the pita) rather than have it in my salad and rice. Chicken was tender and flavorful plus the vegetables on the kebabs (onions and green peppers) had a nice crisp to them. Not sure if intentional but the light burn added texture. Potato and rice were a bit dry and bland but other contents added enough flavor so that the entire platter was easy to eat.

I had to grab a quick bite to eat and wanted to grab some protein so I decided to get a side of shawarma. The shawarma was juicy delicious and I'll be back again to try more!Pros: taste, quantity Cons: ambiance could be a bit better Ambiance 3.5/5Service: 5/5Taste: 5/5Value: 5/5

This is our go to Mediterranean place in the area. Their pita bread is a must have, and pairs perfectly with their house made hummus. I've also tried their chicken shawarma platter and their wraps, both of which were great. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. Definitely check this place out if you are in the mood for Mediterranean!

I always forget to review this place! It's a small restaurant that we order take-out from sometimes. There are a few parking spaces outside. Always delicious, fresh food. Excellent baklava. Great customer service. The Butter Chicken platter and Chicken Shawarma platter are our favorites.
