We were a big group trying this for the first time. We waited about 15 minutes for our table and then we were seated. The ordering process was quick and we all were given our food in a timely matter. I ordered the tofu soup and it was very spicy, definitely on the salty side but still really good. This place is definitely on the pricier side but overall pleasant. We ordered rice cakes that are not pictured but those were a favorite on our table. The only compliant I'd have is that they were trying to get us out of there as quick as possible.

Nice cosy interior with good assortment of banchan. They were quite enjoyable, the bean sprouts and fish cake were my favorites. The soft tofu soup was good and came served with an egg and bowl of rice. Nice and hot, very comforting for a cold day. The bite of kimchi with rice and soup was perfect. We had the kimchi and pork tofu soup, I would choose something else next time. It wasn't quite sour enough in my preference. The seafood pancake was not the typical type I've had, this one was quite crunchy and filled with lots of oysters. Personally wasn't a fan of this one, but it paired very well with the sauce accompanied with it.

A pretty solid place for Korean food. I come here when I'm in the mood for soon tofu! My favorite is their Dumpling Soon Tofu. It has pork dumplings, soft tofu, and vegetables. As with soon tofu, they give you a raw egg and bowl of rice as well. The meal always feels so comforting yet balanced! I love their selection of banchan! The side dishes change from time to time, but they consistently have a really tasty kimchi! I've also had japchae, cucumbers, bean sprouts, and fish cake, which were all delicious as well!Another go-to items is their Seafood Pancake! Arrives on a hot plates, so it stays hot throughout your meal. It contains a good amount of seafood, and the edges are always nice and crispy. Served with a savory dipping sauce that pairs so well with it!I like that they offer additional late night items in the evening from Pocha too!

Banchan: cucumber, fishcake, japchae, kimchi, bean sprouts. Ingredients tasted fresh and crisp. I especially loved the kimchi here. BBQ beef: 9/10, very sweet but I enjoyed it a lot. They're quite generous with how much beef is given. Dolpan bibimbap: 8/10, yummy assortment of veggies with bibimbap sauce Seafood tofu stew: 8/10, nothing special, just regular tofu stew. Clams and head-on shrimp were a nice touch.Solid Korean food with a line out the door. However, it's difficult to say there's anything special about this place. Since it was so busy, a server handed our table the check the second we were done eating, which I found to be a tad bit rude.

I've never been to this location before, but it's tucked away in a corner around the nearby Asian market. This place had a line before the store even opened. The overall restaurant has a nice homely atmosphere and quick service.Since it was a cold day I opted for the seafood tofu soup and a bibimbap to share with my family. We waited around 25 minutes for the food and it all came piping hot. The seafood soup has clams, small shrimp, soft tofu, and comes with an egg on the side. The soup came with a side of rice and it was nice and filling. There were some shells that somehow escaped into my mouth but it's so minor it could be overlooked. The bibimbap was tasty and had a good amount of veggies and protein. The side dishes really complimented the food well, especially the bibimbap. This place offers raw marinated crab which I was unable to order this time around. I'll definitely order the next time!

Came here for dinner and it was good. The seafood tofu was delicious. My friend got the meat and said it was flavorful. The lychee soju just perfect. It is a small space and is tight. Service was ok. Definitely try to come on off peak hours as parking is horrible and wait times can be long.

This is a small place to host a large party such as more than 10 people. The food is delicious. The season is just right (not too salty). I would highly recommended this place.

This was my first time at SGD tofu house and it was a pretty good meal. We were craving soondubu jjiggae (tofu soup) and this was the only one open late at night. It's a small shop, but fits a good amount of people.I got the beef tofu soup and it was delicious! Flavor was there and you get a lot of filling in it. More meat and tofu than soup. The raw marinated crab was so spicy, so be wary of that. The spicy squid was okay, there seemed to be more onions than squid which was a little of a letdown. Service was quick and our server was very accommodating. She was helpful in recommending items and adjusting things as needed. Overall, if you're looking for a late night tofu soup spot in the SJ area, this is a good option!

SGD has been my favorite korean tofu soup for over a decade but I didn't know they had korean cold noodles. The icy soup was so fragrant and tbh it didn't require too much additional mustard or vinegar. It also comes with galbi and half an egg. The galbi is delicious but for some reason the egg had a weird smell. Our server was a cute korean auntie and she was sooo sweet. I love this location :)
