I came to Sen Dai Sushi on a Wednesday around 5:30 PM with three coworkers, as one of them was visiting from out of town and craving sashimi. We decided to start with the calamari appetizer and garlic edamame, both of which were solid choices.For rolls, we ordered the Storm Bringer Roll, Happy Blossom Roll, Las Vegas Roll, Milpitas Roll, and one other that I can't quite remember. The sushi came out quickly, and every roll was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Las Vegas Roll and Milpitas Roll--they're generously sized and packed with fish, making them a great choice if you're looking for something filling and flavorful.The service was excellent! The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed. Sen Dai Sushi is always my go-to recommendation for sushi in the Bay Area, and this visit only reinforced that. If you're in the area and craving sushi, this spot is a must-try!

I've been here a couple of times and have no complaints. The food is always great, the prices are reasonable, and the fish is fresh. The rolls are delicious! I like how they have combination deals when you order online. Service is great! The only downside is the parking, especially during peak hours.

Great portions of high quality sushi! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, especially the baked rolls. Even the appetizers come in big portions. I've been here a few times now and the staff has been always been kind and attentive. The only downside is the location. It's extremely hard to find parking so I'd suggest coming here during the weekday if you can.

Whenever Im in the west coast, I make sure I stopby here to get my sushi fix, go for the otorro and chutorro, the amaebi shrimp and Uni. Service is impeccable and fast. The location is in a strip mall and a total hole in the wall. But one of the best spots in Milipitas for sushi.

SenDai Sushi isn't going to blow your mind with premium cuts, but they've got some pretty fun rolls that hit the spot when you're craving sushi without breaking the bank. Service was prompt and consistent. No music, just the hum of casual conversation which was nice. The fish portions are actually pretty generous - maybe too generous, since they slice everything a bit thick for my taste (part of the art of sushi is in those precise, delicate cuts). Still, the flavors work well together in their specialty rolls, and while it's not the freshest fish in town, it's totally decent quality that gets the job done. This week happened to be Salmon skin roll and Happy blossom roll.The salmon skin had a baked, almost smoky aroma that was quite peculiar, not our favorite. But the happy blossom roll was quite good! Not too heavy on the mayo and a good portion of salmon on top.

I haven't dined inside Sen Dai in a looong while. We ate here for lunch on Sunday, got here around 11:40 and already a full house. They open at 11:30. Not much parking left, if there were, you couldn't fit a car there because people park in this lot pretty badly lol and most parking spots that are connected to the stores are reserved. Sometimes there is street parking but those were taken up as well. The plaza nextdoor is a montesorri, didnt see any cars parked there so we parked one more lot down and just walked over. There was a bit of a wait but we were first on the waitlist and waited outside. They have a microphone connected to a speaker outside to call out either delivery orders, to-go orders, or next party to be seated. Sen Dai continues to be one of my favorite sushi restaurants! I got the train roll, my usual roll. The rolls are huge and they don't skimp on the fish. I feel like it used to be slightly bigger but hey, i still cant fit one piece in my mouth lol. If you like scallop and salmon, this one's for you. There's also a thin slice of lemon inside. My cousin always orders the caterpillar roll from here. Lots of avocado! And the last roll we got was the Rockstar roll. It wasn't my favorite but i think it's just down to preference. The roll itself was good. My cousin and I shared 2 pieces of hamachi nigiri and it was so fresh and melted in my mouth. My uncle and my cousin ordered the terriyaki chicken bento and I had a taste, also good. The chicken portion is massive! They came with seaweed salad, house salad, and miso soup. Service is really great here! Waters were refilled on time and food came out pretty fast. They don't use yelp checkins but they are pretty efficient in their waitlist system, even if it's pen and paper. They also have a 20 year anniversary gift card discount, if you come here a lot it's worth checking out!

When I'm in the mood for some takeout sushi, Sen Dai Sushi comes to mind. Their rolls are quite delicious and satisfies the sushi roll cravings.We ordered the Cherry Blossom Roll, Mizuno Roll, Dragon Roll, and Alaska Roll. All the rolls were tasty and were a good size.
