Thank you, next! Scoops was one of my fav ice cream places but sadly it's no longer the same. I heard owners changed. First of all, no samples?!?? You have so many different flavors, how does one know what would be the optimal choice?!! Second, the ice cream came out more icy than usual. I should've known when the staff pulled the tub out of a freezer. It did not look fresh at all. Staff wasn't the friendliest either. There's better ice cream down the block that I would recommend instead. Super sad that scoops turned out like this....

We recently visited Scoop Microcreamery in Palo Alto, and it was a delightful experience! Julissa and Valeria were incredibly helpful, patiently answering all our questions about the available options and assisting with our order. Their friendly demeanor made the visit even better. We initially ordered the New York Cherry flavor, but found it too sweet, and the cherry flavor wasn't as pronounced as we hoped. Thankfully, we switched it out for the Green Tea flavor, which was absolutely fantastic--a rich, creamy texture with the perfect balance of earthy tea notes. We also tried the Pistachio, and it was just as amazing, bursting with authentic nutty flavors that didn't overpower the creamy base. Parking was a breeze as we found a spot right across the street, making it convenient for a quick in-and-out visit. Scoop continues to impress with their unique flavors and excellent service. We're looking forward to trying more flavors on our next trip!

I went in yesterday and ordered a small one scoop for my little cousin and then I ordered two scoops for me. The cashier charged both as medium and so I paid about a whopping $18 when I asked for my receipt, I definitely seen the cashiers face change and I wondered why. He charged both as a medium. so pay attention to when being charged or ask for a receipt. I wouldn't have made a big deal out of it, but if my little cousin could finish her ice cream within two minutes and there's a big difference in sizing from mine, I wouldn't have came here. Also, I would skip the toppings at that place if you have any allergies. All the toppings were a little mixed and we have a severe nut allergy.

We stopped by here on a summer Saturday night looking for an icecreamy dessert. I would scoop this place up onto your dessert list because this is one of our new favorite icecream spots! We got two scoops of the Lychee + Red Raspberry Sorbet in a cup.Lychee (4/5): This one is really unique, when was the last time you tasted a creamy lychee? It's thick with heavy dairy content and so heavenly creamy that it'll just melt into a spoonful of opaque white liquid in your mouth! The sorta artificial-tasting lychee flavor vibrantly bursts through the sturdy notes of milkiness in the icecream. Rich yet refreshing!Red Raspberry Sorbet (5/5): This one has that desirable icy snow texture of a good sorbet paired with a tart, bright fruity flavor of fresh raspberries picked straight from grandma's backyard. A little bit sweet, but tastes pretty natural. Very enjoyable! Note that they don't do samples here -- instead, they have a "see you later", which is basically they'll give you a complementary fat sample scoop of another flavor AFTER you order. It's a bit unusual since the whole point of samples is to make sure you choose a flavor you like, but hey at least it makes the line move faster without that one person trying twenty different samples and still having trouble deciding which flavor to choose. The worker who served us was also super nice and friendly, even taking time to offer taking a photo of us when she noticed we were taking photos of our icecream inside.Overall, would definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you're around Palo Alto!

"See you later" You have to buy before you can sample. This is an interesting concept because you'll be picking the flavors blindly. Their ube flavor is not the best. Definitely drive south for the best ube flavored ice cream! The young lady was nice and helpful. She explained the "see you later" to us when we asked. It's a normal ice cream shop. Casual vibe / ambiance. Ice cream is always good after a nice lunch or dinner

SERVICE- located off of university avenue in downtown Palo Alto- parking available on streets or in nearby lots- be prepared to wait in a long line especially during peak hours- no sampling - limited outdoor seatingMENU- unique selection of ice creams and sorbets- average price ($6 per scoop)FOOD- peach mango sorbet (6/10): this tastes like the peach ring candy but does not have a strong mango flavor. It was a little icy which made it melt into juice on the hot summer day.WOULD I GO BACK? I would hope that they make more inventive vegan ice creams that are not just sorbets before I go back.

I love this ice cream shop! It's a great traditional ice cream shop if you prefer more standard flavors and toppings. They also have so many different flavors! Their menu is much larger than what's in the glass display, but that just means they'll scoop it from their fridge they have behind the display. Their service is good. Usually there's not a line when we go, but even when there is it moves pretty fast. They don't do tasting samples, but they do have a "see you later" where you can get a small sample scoop of an ice cream with your order for free. I really like that because you can try an ice cream flavor you're not sure of and then maybe next time get it.The ice cream shop is really cute. It feels like an old-school ice cream shop with its chalkboard menu, cute tile walls, and clear displays. It reminds of a small town ice cream shop. That being said, it's clean and new so overall well-maintained. Parking: There are many parking garages in Palo Alto so it's not too hard for us to find parking

I stopped by Scoops in the evening and ordered a pumpkin ice cream. There was a lot of pumpkin and spice flavor. This ice cream was a bit icy but it does give it a homemade feel. The sweetness wasn't too overpowering. They had a variety of flavors and I would definitely come back to try a few others. The place is small and does not have seating. The worker was friendly and the customer service was great.

Pricey place, but no matter how esoteric your taste in ice cream may be, you'll find something here for you. $8 for a single scoop in a nice waffle cone, and pints were about $15 recently. Friendly place, and they kept the line moving pretty quick.
