Hands down one of the best chopped cheese sandwiches I've consumed in quite some time! Scolari's Food Truck is exclusively located outside Almanac Beer Co. "on the island" in Alameda. With just a few items to truly focus on, I went with the chopped cheese after our friends mentioned they come to this truck specifically for this sandwich. The filling is light and creamy, bread fresh and crispy, a solid cash spend on a hard earned Friday. Truly couldn't be a more perfect combination of ingredients and Scolari's did it right. Paired with the Black Pepper Hawaiian Mac Salad, even more yum!Having not been to the actual Scolari's restaurant on Park Street, this was a great warm up pitch for the real deal. I do appreciate the food truck's dedicated menu to serving folks like me a taste of Scolari's. I noticed people ordering the instagrammable Blueberry Bacon Blue Cheese Burger, and man what a beauty! You will know it when you see it..has anyone tried it? Would love to know the taste profile!Service was stellar and I truly enjoyed the whole vibe of beer on the island, views & food truck love. Solid peeps, solid food. Also to note, the hand cut spuds are super comforting and delicious with the house aioli and ketchup. I read this food truck has taken many forms, once a 1964 vintage Airstream camper trailer converted to serve the people!Looking forward to trying the Park Street location. Coming from a family of East Coasters, I noticed the restaurant has a Taylor Ham Egg & Cheese sandwich which you don't typically see over here in the Bay Area..looking forward to testing it out! Especially because the menu says it comes with ketchup! (If you know, you know)

Have eaten here a handful of times when visiting the breweries at the naval base. No complaints here, fries are delicious, the pickle brined chicken strips are an interesting breading that works perfectly for them. Their garlic aioli is amazing, make sure to ask for it to use as a dip. Friends have gotten the chicken sandwich gaming other things. Service is always fast and food is always fresh and tasty!

Stopped by Almanac for beer and a late lunch. Family ordered the classic burger, chicken sandwich, the blueberry blue cheese burger, and fries. The blueberry burger was something I had to try after seeing it on DDD. It wasn't sweet at all. The blue cheese and blueberry were a good combo... nice rich and complex flavor for the charred and peppery burger. Had a good amount of arugula instead of lettuce that added another dimension. My family liked the chicken Sando and the burger. The fries were thick and crispy. Only real negative was the wait time (15-20min+). Overall, it was a nice sunny day with good food and good beer.

We eat here all the time, and the food is excellent, however the two taking and providing the orders are very rude. When picking up my food, I let the guy know I was missing a side of sauce. He did not believe me and made me go back to get my phone to prove it in the receipt. No apology, it was $1. They both could use some customer service training

Went on a Saturday around 12:30. My fiancée ordered the meal.. I will have to say, due to the line expect a long wait for your food. I'd say approximately 45-50minutes after ordering your food. They do provide a buzzer, so you don't have to stand and wait for that period... which is a plus.Aside from the wait, I'd say the food is pretty good. We ordered the Good Ol Boy and a Full House Cut French Fries. The Good Ol Boy is a fried chicken sandwich. And I would order this again. The chicken had a nice crunch, the meat wasn't dry, and the pickled jalapeno added a good heat to each bite! Highly recommend ordering this! The House Cut Fries were nicely seasoned! It was a good addition to the chicken sandwich.Good food truck food.

Food truck next to Almanac brewing company. Buy food from the truck, take your buzzer and drink next door. If you have time on a nice sunny day great idea to come here. These days the weather isn't so great - so be careful what day you pick. If it is raining or really cold the brewery is always a decent option. My go to is the blueberry, bacon, blue cheese burger. The meat and bread is always great. Seasoned patty perfect and french fries seem ok. I think the fries could be better and maybe they have decreased in quality lately. I have yet to explore the menu but certain items seem a tad more expensive than they should be. I know I like the berry burger so I usually stick to what works. If your coming from the 880 highway its very time consuming to drive here. Streets are slow and tons of stop signs and street lights. I've got one friend deep deep in the Hayward hills and I'm always shocked how long it takes to drive a few miles. This is the same deal. I think when you live in such places it can give a feel of isolation. I think overall the main Scolari's is a little nicer with the actual tiny restaurant. Also the prices have been slowly creeping up and certain items seem a little too high.

Perfect compliment to a beer ! My husband ordered the Good ol boy. Nashville hot. Trust me .., it's hot and a beer is the perfect way to wash it down. I tried the Blueberry bacon blue cheese burger Au Polvre. It was quite delicious but too big for me to eat. You had to smash it down. Despite that it was worth getting. We also got the cut Fries. Not my favorite. They seemed over cooked and not a lot of flavor. Our order was quickly taken by the staff and our sandwiches were made with a lot of care. This food truck was at Almanac brewery, so it was located in a great place with of tables .

We get food when we go to almanac especially for trivia night. It is expensive for the servings. Fries are great, burgers are okay.

Dispointed, came here for their hand cut fries, which I have had numerous times in the past. This time, the fries were not hand cut. They charged me the $12, but gave me processed fries you can buy at a grocery store. False advertising, won't be coming back!
