unbelievably bad burger from the van outside almanac beer Co. I've just woken up coughing up the ridiculous amounts of garlic on my burger and I should have trusted my instincts at the time and returned the burger. I can only assume they are employing young people who don't know how to cook and then charging too much for a terrible product.

Absolutely the best burger in the Bay Area. What more is there to say? Okay blueberry bacon burger is crazy creative and delish.

Yes, yes, Scolari's food is unbelievably good and it's great to sit at the Lucky 13 and enjoy it. But did you know they do catering? Yes, it's true! Mike and team catered our wedding this summer and IT. WAS. FANTASTIC. Mike was so flexible working with our budget and was super quick to understand the down-home vibe we were looking for. (Though he also has extensive experience catering and can fancy it up as much as you'd like.) They did not disappoint. They served out of the hip Airstream trailer and set up a lovely buffet of pulled pork, buffalo fries, hush puppies, slaw, and all the fixins, and the foxy helper gals tray-passed snacks for those who couldn't wait. They put house-made pickles in mason jars on all our tables and our guests were fighting over who got to take the extras home. All our guests commented something along the lines of, "Yeah, yeah, congrats on the marriage, but WHO MADE THIS FOOD???!!!" The whole Scolari's team was super easy to work with and completely surpassed our expectations on every front.Next time you need a caterer, think Scolari's Good Eats!

When the food gets as many, if not more, compliments than the bride's dress, you know we picked the right person to cater our reception! We are regulars at Scolari's for lunch, so when we were planning our wedding reception, it was a no-brainer to ask if they do catering. Needless to say, we're STILL getting rave reviews about the food.Mike and his team were so great to work with -- they help us put together a fabulous menu within our budget and provided awesome service onsite.We're already planning another party just to have more of those killer stromboli's and Italian sandwiches!

I've always loved Scolari's, but I recently attended a fundraiser event that they catered that inspired me to say very nice things in writing! Amazing food (jumbalaya and other New Orleans-inspired food)... friendly service... in short, they rocked it. I highly recommend them!

We threw a birthday party for my wife in Alameda, and from her bucket list she wanted a 6 foot sub sandwich delivered. Scolari's went out of their way to research bakeries that might make a 6 foot loaf to put together such a sancwich. No luck there, but in the end it turned out better than ever because Scolari's bread is to die for. They put it together to look as if we'd had a 7 foot sub cut up....so the wife was thrilled when she arrived......and all the guests LOVED the sandwiches. To echo a previous reviewer, the food got as many if not more compliments than the event location we'd picked out. Andie and Mike were great to work with....they really take care of you.
