The food was so delicious and excited to go back and try the rest of the menu! The service was quick and there weren't too many people that day. The vibe is very much a no-frills Indian restaurant but the owner was super nice to us and we will definitely be back. We ordered the chicken dum biryani and the gongura pappu. I was absolutely floored by the gongura pappu which I didn't expect out of a vegetarian dish. It had the perfect level of heat and acidity. If you can't handle spice then this dish may not be for you. The biryani was also very good and made dum-style. 10/10 would recommend!

I don't know what happened to this place?!?This had been my spot for 3 years whenever I want biryani I order the same exact thing Vijaywanda biryani. It was the best biryani in the Bay Area. A month ago, everything changed. I gave them 4 chances since then The chicken is always smushed, and you can hardly find it. The biryani itself the spices don't taste the same. The rice tastes old. They must've changed the cook or something because it doesn't taste the same. This is farewell for me sadly.

Got the butter chicken for my boyfriend and Trishul non veg Biryani (Chef Special) which was prepared really quickly so that was nice. Butter chicken was okay, the trishul non veg biryani Chef special description online said: "marinated with yogurt, onions, spices, saffron, coriander, and cashew, cooked with long grain basmati rice. Served with raita and chicken sherwa" so I thought the only meat was chicken. When I opened my dish it had chicken, mutton and prawn which I didn't expect because the description didn't say. I did call to make sure I had the right dish and the person said I did, that's just what the dish had, but the prawns and mutton weren't in the description. Overall both dishes were just okay, not sure if either were worth the price. They are fast and have a nice heat to the food.

We used to order here almost on a weekly basis and love the food . Flavors are authentic but a bit spicy. A good place to dine in as well but we usually do takeout. We noticed that service can be slow on busy days. Their biryanis are my all time favorite.

Fantastic place in Sunnyvale. Super well known for their biryani and it did not disappoint! We tried the Vijayawada chicken biryani and the Chicken 65 appetizer. These were recommended to us by the knowledgeable staff as the less spicy / medium spicy options. The food came out piping hot and was definitely made fresh for us. We personally loved both items and will definitely be back to try other dishes too. The biryani comes with a yogurt raita, which really enhances the dish. The spices are just right and really flavorful. I highly recommend! The ambiance is pretty basic. You aren't really coming for the ambiance. You're coming for the food! Each table has 2-4 stainless steel glasses as drinking cups. To go boxes are available on a table next to the water dispenser. Very easily accessible for leftovers. Overall we loved the food. Definitely check it out. We plan to order takeout next time!

I have never been to the restaurant, however I have gotten food from them through the grocery store. Namaste, India in Ardenwood area . I have got few items from there : Konaseema chicken fry: really good. Quantity is on the lower side. As advertised on the spicier sidePaneer dum biryani: not flavorful and not good. Mixed it with above chicken.Nawabi goat biryani: clearly good. The goat was roasted deeply and was flavorful this item as it claims to be extra spicy. I don't think it was as spicy as the about chicken fry, but still worthwhile getting it on a repeated basis. Gongura mutton biryani: this was just really spicy (lot more than typical extra spicy) and did not have the tanginess of gongura. Certainly disappointed with this dish

We came as a group of 4 for lunch and to our surprise, it was buffet only. They have beer as part of the buffet and the food is delicious, flavorful and they have so many options. The restaurant was packed by the time we grabbed our first plate. As a spice intolerant person, I had a hard time eating most of the food. However, I did find some solace in the signficantly less spicy food so I largely indulged in the butter chicken, white rice and naan. We also had some mango lassi and it was refreshing~ This place is a huge bang for your buck but will be more mindful about the nonspicy options in the future.

Ordered Biriyani for my family new years dinner. My experience in ordering over the phone was simple and straightforward. The food was ready on time for pickup, and family loved their Biriyani fix!The food itself was spicy, though i felt the meat was a bit dry. Likely expected of the style of Andhra style cooking. Family loved it - so all is well that ends well.
