Review for 3/1/25:We came to Sake2Me for lunch and managed to beat the lunch crowd. This AYCE sushi spot took over the old Little Mad Fish location, and they're definitely worth checking out. The highlight for us was their nigiri, the rice to protein ratio was perfect, with smaller portions of rice that really let the fish shine. We also tried a few appetizers, and they were delicious! The shishito peppers had great flavor, the agedashi tofu was really good, and the hamachi kama was grilled to perfection. The only letdown was the shrimp tempura, the batter was too thick. As for rolls, we ordered a couple, including the spider roll, but they weren't as impressive. The pricing ranges from $35 for the basic option to $40 for premium, and we opted for the premium. Overall, it's definitely worth the price, and we'll be back for sure!

We visited Sake2Me Sushi for dinner on a Friday night, arriving before the dinner crowd. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was lackluster; none of the employees explained how the ordering process worked or helped us navigate the menu, even though it was our first time dining there. After reading some reviews, I realized the restaurant isn't an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) spot but rather offers three rounds of sushi. The nigiri pieces were disappointingly small, and the rice fell apart easily. I wasn't impressed with the umami handroll set either, which felt like a lazy addition to the menu--it was essentially nigiri wrapped in seaweed. The rolls, however, were the best value, offering a decent number of pieces compared to other AYCE places that serve smaller portions.Overall, I believe there are better AYCE options in the area. The service was subpar, with only one staff member being friendly enough to greet us goodbye as we left. It was a letdown, and I wouldn't recommend it based on this experience.

Eri was great! ! I have to say that first and foremost. She helped us navigate the menu and made some great suggestions that we will try the next time we come! It was the first time my husband and I came to Sake2Me and I will definitely come again if I'm in the area! We came for our anniversary dinner because I was in the mood for some good, fresh sushi. This was the perfect place! We came from ESSJ to try out this AYCE sushi place and we have nothing but great things to say! Coming on a Friday evening I was nervous about the wait. We lucked out that a large party soon finished and they got several small groups in right away! Great hustle for the team! We opted to do just the regular course AYCE which was $34.95. That included all their classic and signature rolls, a decent amount of appetizer, hand rolls, noodles, soups, and rice. You can opt for the Premium Course for $39.95 you get their full menu, which opens up even more appetizers, grilled items like bulgogi, a full list of nigiri options, as well as dessert! I can't leave a review without complimenting the chefs in the back! The restaurant was bursting full, which isn't surprising for a weekend evening, I'm sure. They seriously hustled back in the open area of the kitchen! Kudos for getting so many plates to so many tables out without compromising the taste or presentation.Did I mention that each order comes out in it's own respective plate? So cute! It really helped to see each plate/roll come one by one and be able to distinguish which one we were eating, especially since it was our first time! I wish I took a picture of all we got, but honestly, they didn't last long on the plates! My favorite was the Tempura Roll and hubs loved the Lion King Roll. DONT SKIP ON APPETIZERS! We ended up getting two orders of Takoyaki and the Gyoza -- they were that yummy! Ended the evening with a delicious bowl of miso soup! A new sushi go-to-spot!

This is a great AYCE sushi restaurant. My wife and I came last Wednesday for a late lunch and we had such a great time. The premium selection is about $40 pp and you get all the appetizers, rolls, and nigiris. Our favorite item was the salmon belly, but you can only get 1-2 orders per person which is a bummer. I loved every Nigiri roll; the fish is clean tasting, fresh, and is the perfect small bite. The rolls are phenomenal but their nigiri take the crown and is a MUST. The appetizers are regular and nothing crazy, but we enjoyed their shrimp shu mai, garlic edamame, and shrimp tempura. If you're going to come here, make sure you have a huge appetite. The rice will stuff you up so play it smart and go straight to the good stuff or items you wouldn't typically order at an expensive sushi restaurant. The employees work a bit different; our first guy, granted whatever we wanted and was super nice whereas the second server kept strict tabs on our orders and wasn't lenient at all. This is our new fav AYCE sushi spot, and we'll definitely come back soon!

After my most recent experience, I'm going to have to rate it 3 stars. Why?1) New menu system - I have came here when premium price was higher, then it changed to lower but included all nigiris . And now they changed it to 3 rounds only. You can no longer call this "all you can eat" if they limit you by how many rounds you can order, how many sushi you can order per round, and on top a 90 minute time limit. It's more like a Japanese buffet plus sushi. 2) Food - on top of having you order less, portion got smaller too. Fish gets worst in quality as the rounds go up. 3) Service - service is fine, they are easy to get a hold of and brings out food when available. Sushi takes longer now. Overall, since they added that new menu change. It's not an all you can eat, then I probably won't be coming back.

Got the chance to experience with AYCE sushi spot with a group of 6. They don't take reservations on Fridays or the weekend, so you'll have to queue up on their Yelp waitlist iPad kiosk. We were seated at 8 pm and there's a time limit of 90 minutes once you sit down. There are 3 rounds in which you can order rolls and nigiri and appetizers. Appetizers are unlimited! Dessert is limited to the amount of people in your party. The bill came up to $320 total or $40 per person plus service charge since we were a group of 6. I highly recommend the nigiri since it was so delicious and a great variety. The only bad experience was that our rolls and appetizers were backlogged, so everything came halfway to the end of our dinner. It's to be expected for a Friday night. There's an overcharge fee of wasted food per roll, so be aware!! A dining experience that I would try again.

Bro, I am a mf'n fan!!! Sushi but make it AYCE?? Say less!!!!!!Located in Pacific Commons Shopping Center, Sake2Me Sushi hits the spot whenever you are craving & have a huge appetite. The menu is broken into 2 parts: premium or regular. The regular course will cost you $35/person and the menu offerings are limited to sushi rolls and some appetizers. For $40/person, you have free access to the entire menu- including nigiri, dessert, and a wider spectrum of appetizers. Being more of a nigiri person, we 100% had to opt for the premium dinner. While our order primarily consisted of nigiri, we did try other items such as: sake2me roll, saba shio, veggie tempura, miso soup, beef fried rice, and udon noodles. My 4yo's favorite items of the night were the ika geso [fried squid legs], the California hand roll, and takoyaki balls.Quality in the seafood isn't top tier but it definitely does the job. Nothing was fishy smelling or tasting which would have been a huge red flag. Service is kind of slow with our actual server but the gals running around, topping drinks were amazing. They were attentive and polite, never missing a beat when it came to our empty cups. Our first experience here was great but I know we could get a better bang for our buck the next time. The menu itself was a bit overwhelming for a first timer and we were kind of on a time crunch with my daughter's dinner schedule. With that being said, I would come back without any hesitation. Dinner wait times are gonna be steep but if you are willing to wait, do it!! 5/5 stars for Sake2Me Sushi.
