RRR Biryanis

Biryanis, especially Vegetarian Biryanis came a long way. For a very long time, I gave up on my favorite dish at restaurants as the vegetarian version of it was an after thought. At RRR, it isn't so. There are plenty of vegetarian options and they all tasted amazing.We went there at 10PM, 30minutes before they close and ordered couple of their Biryanis. We ended up staying 30minutes after the close as we had a lovely chat with the owners. Their passion impressed me a lot. They are thinking about how they can be consistent as they grow. While talking to them, I felt they have their hearts and heads in the right place. I hope they execute their plans and provide me a go to place for my vegetarian biryani fix for years to come.

This place is not consistent. The biriyani had no flavor the second time I visited. I am quite sure they didn't use enough sauce.The dosas are good, but a little bland.I tried ordering the same biriyani one more time - again no flavor. The place is not consistent. I think when the chef is not around, the rest of the guys do not know how to mix the sauce. They just do not know how much sauce to put in the biriyani for various spice levels. Iam done with this place - not worth my time driving all the way to Mountain View. It's a hit or a miss.

Close to 5 stars!We went here on a thurs night and the place was empty but there were lots of people coming in for to go orders. Ambiance wise this place is definitely casual, very bright lights and a little cold inside but I do like that it was quiet and they didn't have music playing on the tv personally so that we could talk easily. We got 4 biryanis. I tried the RRR fish biryani and the egg biryani. I liked the fish biryani a bit more it was a bit spicier and more flavorful but all of the biryanis were really good! Generous amounts of meat/egg and flavor was really good! Reason why I took off a star was because spice levels were unpredictable, the chicken biryani was allegedly veryyyy spicy although good some people in our party couldn't eat it. Fish biryani is the next spiciest followed by egg biryani and the ghost lamb biryani which was very mild. We technically ordered everything at regular spicy and the egg biryani was supposed to be more spicy. All the food was good so it's relatively minor and the portions are very big. On top of that the Telugu server was super nice and attentive and he also offered to replace the spicy biryani (we opted not to bc we already ordered too much food for 4 ppl) which was super kind of him!Another weird thing is that biryanis came out in like 7 min intervals... this isn't usually something that bothers me but it was weird to have one biryani to be cold at the time that the third one came out. Minor issue though.We also got the crispy corn and the chikoo shake - these were so delicious I would definitely reccomend !! Everyone liked the chikoo shake we ordered more as we left.

staff was nice. For take out:1) the only thing worth getting is the biryanis. Not too greasy, tastes fresh, chicken was hot and fresh. I've had better elsewhere though 3/52) butter masala dosa 3/5 - this was ok, not bad but not great. The soup that comes with this is good. Madras is way better.3) tikka masala chicken 0/5 - either I got a wrong order or this is the worse tikka masala I've ever had. I don't taste any flavor except salt. It's like a salty orange sauce with rubbery cubes of chicke breast and green bell peppers.4) naan 0/5 - they don't make their own naan breads and serve frozen prepackaged naans for $2ea. Either that it was stale or bad naan

We ordered the RRR Kodi combo, Palamuru Chicken Biryani and Double-Ka-Meetha. Service was great, we received the order quickly with no wait times. Combo: 5/5The combo was great, the chapatis were super soft and amazingly thin, tasted perfect !! The chicken curry tasted great. This was cooked with cornish hen. Not everyone has a liking for it, my husband found it to be fatty and chewy. Biryani: 3/5Biryani disappointed us big time. Chicken in the biryani was spicy and flavorful but the overall dish lacked the punch.Double-ka-meetha & Gulab Jamun: 2/5They both tasted too sweet. Double kha meetha especially had this sugar syrup that was too thick.

I tried their biryani, and the flavor and meat were so good. I like the way they serve it--it's huge, and one person can be full with just the biryani. Since I'm a biryani lover, I only tried the biryani. They give a lot of meat, but they should balance it better with the rice. I tried both places in the Bay Area, one in Fremont and the other in Mountain View, and had the same experience. I love the food, but they gave me too much meat, and the rice wasn't perfect. Overall, I like the place.

Tastes so good! Went during the 50% off from 1:30-2:30pm promotion and got samosas, biryani, curry, paratha, naan, and a mango lassi for $32!!! Portions are generous too. Will eat here again at full price.

Today i tried Nalli Ghosh Biryani, and it was absolutely delightful. The mutton was tender and infused with rich, aromatic spices, while the rice was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The dish struck a perfect balance of taste and texture, making it an unforgettable culinary experience.

A group of people from office went to try this place and we were glad we did. Here is what we ordered:- Karivepaku (curry leaf) chicken appetizer: this was a unique appetizer, it obviously had a good amount of curry leaf but in a good way. I will order this in the future for munching in dawats (parties).- Shai mutton biryani: We LOVED this, the meat pieces were coated with a green paste that was delicious, I regret not ordering one of this dish- Pandu mirchi chicken biryani: Beware of this, it can be spicy to some people. As you can imagine it will have red mirchi and flakes in the meat- Palamuru boneless chicken biryani: This was decent, I guess the mutton biryani really dominated our palate. Ambience: Place is medium size, minimalistic look. There was a U shaped booth as well. Service was good too. Would be great if this place could have Sweet pan as well.

Excellent variety of Biryanis and appetizers. The food had authentic Indian taste. The staff is very friendly and cares to make sure the customer is happy.
