Red Bay Coffee Public Roastery

Came here on a whim for a charcoal latte? It seemed out of the box and and fun. Still have no idea what was in it (yes ok charcoal but was there coffee?) it was sweet and I had it with almond milk but their were sandy grits of...charcoal? that were a little less than pleasant. Good flavor, just wish I knew what was in it. The baristas were super nice though

Amazing service. They have a wide variety of coffee beans to buy and some free drip coffee to sip on while you look through the different varieties. This location doesn't have a full coffee bar and service, but they have a storefront just a few blocks down for that.

This is very lovely coffee shop that is very spacious, perfect for studying or coffee dates. I got the charcoal latte; it had a slightly sweet and nutty flavor which I found really good. It took a little long for the coffee to be prepared but overall a very good experience.

I have been searching for a good Charcoal latte and Red Bay has the best one so far. I don't know what kind of magic they put in my cup but it is so delicious . The latte is strong and the sweetness is just right. I got the Vietnamese Cold Brew the other day and it was good .

Locally owned + Black owned coffee shop? Say no more! Red Bay has my heart! I love that some local Targets now carry Red Bay Coffee but coming to get it right from the Roastery is super special.

WOW, how am I just now finding out about this place?! super cute and hipster! Plants everywhere, smells like coffee heaven, and staff is super friendly and they have a garden across the street for you to enjoy your cup of joy before starting your day! Was short on time so I'll be sure to check out the garden my next visit. Menu is short but simple which is nice. They also make pastries on their own but they are a HOT commodity so make sure you come early to get your fix on! I was a bit late to the party so unfortunately I will also be returning back for those too! Now lets get into the coffee. They have coffee beans in bulk that you buy fresh. They also make all of their items in store on their own, so you know its fresh fresh and delish! I ordered the viet coffee and the charcoal late. Both were very rich and flavorful, not to mention quality and that GOOD STRONG kind too! My preferred coffee if you ask me.DEF a fan and cant wait to come back for another visit real soon! Buyer beware!!I didn't visit the Red Bay store however I attempted to order 2 bags of their Coltrane coffee online. The customer service is horrible! I placed my order and received the customary email réponse. 10 days later I checked the shipping information. I was unable to contact anyone by phone so I wound up in an endless loop of texts, chats and emaiI. I received the customary réponse we'll get back to you in 24 hours. Demmi promised me it had been shipped. I reached out to the shipper (On Trac) they hadn't received the product. It's been over 2 weeks since I've been promised a shipment and every day I get a réponse that " it will arrive by 2:05 ".

Friendly staff, delicious coffee, beautiful garden seating. This place is quickly becoming my favorite! Also, dog friendly. We tried the charcoal latte hot today, but think it's better cold. Also, the chai latte is my absolute favorite! It's hard to describe the taste of the charcoal latte, it's unique, creamy, but has a rich coffee flavor. That's what I love about coffee, rich and creamy. The chai latte is my favorite, it's strong and fragrant. The spices leave my tongue tingling afterwards, and I feel like all chai lattes should be like that. The sweetness is just right, as I find most other coffee shops to make their chai lattes way too sweet and way too much milk. This is my favorite chai is all of Bay Area, and I'm a chai fanatic!

OH MY - it's been two hours and my tummy is still happy from the lattes I had at Red Bay. We got a Medium Charcoal Latte and a small Iced Chai Latte. I kid you not - the chai latte was the best one I've had AND it cost me less than $4. I'm a big chai latte fan and so many places are charging more than $4 for "meh" quality. Well not Red Bay! The charcoal latte was DELICIOUS and look at that coffee artwork! I can't wait to get the charcoal latte again. Besides the drinks, the roastery is aesthetically pleasing, lots of greenery and across the street, there's a cute outdoor seating area surround by flowers and more greenery. They are taking covid precautions seriously. The staff is so nice and service was quick! Though I live 15 minutes from this location, I'd definitely come out here to get my coffee fix. And maybe buy a sweater next time
