Good fresh food. Clean and organized. Many hidden gems. It's got fresh produce and great food tons of flavor. Plates were full and tasty. The local people were busy buying. The fries were delicious. Pita was fresh.

I literally went back the next day and got the Beef and Chicken Shwarma plate. Excellent, excellent. Highly recommend coming here if you're in the area.

Certainly! Here's a more polished version of your message:I regularly shop for my family and my parents, often traveling to Southern California to visit large Mediterranean mega-stores. I was pleasantly surprised to find a smaller store in Northern California that offers comparable pricing. Despite its size, this store carries almost everything I need, with excellent customer service. I particularly appreciate their selection of kabobs and other Mediterranean foods, and their baklava section is superior to anything I've found in Northern California.

I was super excited to come here because i love everything middle east. First: the store itself has tons of nice products - more than any middle eastern market in SF and i have been visiting those for years and know them inside and outside. So if you want an odd item and didnt find it in sf, try here. Store is clean and well organized. I did buy hummus and baba ganoush and lebneh to take home but Unfortunately.. the baba ganoush was fizzy and clearly expired so i threw $5 in trash. As for the " deli " itself, i was super excited they had a veggie plate with rice and roasted vegetables instead of the same falafel option every other place has. The vegies were good and well roasted, unfortunately not the onions. It took a long time for them to roast (normal). I tried to order it in advance so they would be very broiled but they never picked up the phone (though try had at least 7/8 employees and 1 customer at that time). I know it was one customer because i arrived 5 minutes later and the place was empty. The rice looked excellent but was dry and with no taste which i was dissapointed by. The salad dressing is where everything went wrong. It had a terrible sour taste to it and i was afraid to get sick but luckily did not. The sweets sold actually looked fresh (unlike sf stores) but the backlava was not the best i ever had. Overall i would shop here again but probably not eat lunch here again unless i ordered with no salad and lots of advance - but im vegetarian and im assuming the meat items are better.

I just tried my first chicken kabob plate and it was delicious! I had to share with the town how the fruit stand is fresh and I go all of the time. But the food is so good.

Located within the Real Produce grocery store is a full on Mediterranean Food Court. They offer the usual suspects like gyros, falafel, and the like. Given how much we liked the market and needing lunch we put in an order and it was really good. In fact we came back a few days later to make sure it was not a fluke (It wasn't) Each plate comes with a small salad, batsmati rice, hummus, half a pillowly warm pita and you chose your protein. All plates are reasonably priced at $9.99Beef Shawarma Plate: tender pieces of beef that were well seasoned. Unlike some places it was free of gristle as well. Chicken Kabob: Again tender pieces of chicken with a hint of turmeric and perhaps saffron. Again perfectly cooked. Lamb Kabob: A touch chewy, slightly overcooked, but had again really good flavor, Beef Gyro: TO be fair I was a little concerned as it was reheated prior to packaging, but I cannot complain about the flavor or the results. Hints of garlic and other spices, it was perfect with rice and hummus. Falafel Plate: Perfectly fried bits of goodness. Crunchy exterior gave way to a cooked but moist center busting with parsley, garlic and cumin. It was not falafel enough to muscle into the top spot in my rankings, but it easily made it into the top 3. As noted each plate came with a: Salad: fresh and crispy. It was a bit inconsistent as the second trip it had no dressing. Hummous: a touch on the runny side but had great flavor again with the cumin and garlic coming through but not overwhelming. Rice: The batsmati was properly cooked and it was refreshing to see it was not loaded up with butter as many places do. The staff is friendly and helpful. It can take time to get the order out so be prepared. In fact I would order first and then do my shopping. Good food reasonably priced will win every time!

Honestly, I love this place! Been coming here for months and the amount of delicious food you get for the price point is great especially for Palo Alto. This kitchen is part of the grocery store which is incredible because I have seen them pick up groceries for the kitchen to use.Honestly, I wish I had more photos to post to showcase the different hot food they have but it's so good that I usually end up inhaling it too quickly and forget They have a hot foods, cold foods, and desserts section. There's a diversity of hot foods everyday, usually ranging from stews (beef, lamb, chicken, eggplant, okra), roasted chicken, roasted vegetables, this delicious cauliflower yogurt thing that I unfortunately didn't get the name of, lentils, rice, etc. You can ask for hot sauce on the side. The food is always well seasoned and delicious! At the cold food section, there's hummus, baba gaboush, all sorts of salads, dolmas, tabouleh, etc etc. I personally love the cauliflower salad! The desserts are filled with all sorts of different pastries, baklava, etc. I haven't had too much of this as I don't have the biggest sweet tooth, but it's pretty good. If you ever catch the chef there, Hanna, say hi or something! He's super friendly and personable and makes all the food fresh everyday. He's currently working on getting a site up and running for this place so that there will be online updates on the (hot food) menu for each day. As for now, you kind of just have to go in and see what you get, but I have yet to be disappointed!

This restaurant is a joke. It's not really a restaurant, it's a deli counter that's turned into. Kitchen and it sits in the middle of a grocery store. Only two people work in the kitchen and it took them over an hour to make a large order for 18 people. It's absolutely ridiculous and the guy kept lying and saying it would only take a few more minutes. He knew we were coming to get the food in advanced and still wasn't equipped to make the order in a timely manner. I will never go here again, poor customer service, inconsiderate of our time, and not equipped to complete large orders. The food is rushed because there are only two staff, and the quality is trash.

I used to like the lamb plates here when they first opened but now the lamb is dry and over cooked when you tell they that you want it medium rare. Seem like the lamb is all ready cooked and they just heat it up
