So happy to be back!! Let's start with location... still amazing!! Love the openness in the restaurant and how you can see the amazing Chef Asif cooking delicious food! Staff is wonderful so welcoming!! We ordered yummy chicken, tikka masala, garlic, naan, chicken, tandoori, and shrimp Tandori all my favs can't forget the yummy rice! Over all 5 BIG stars!!! Thank you so much for the tasty food can't wait to come back!

PROS:- The flavor was savory throughout all dishes.- Decent ventilation throughout the restaurant.CONS:- The service was very slow even though staff was running around. We sat for over 30 minutes after our meal was over just waiting for staff to bring us boxes and the check. If they could increase staff, I would bump my experience to a solid 4 stars.FAVORITES: - Tandoori mix was the star of the show. The clay roasted flavor was evident through all of the meats, which were all very tender!TIPS:- Be patient on the weekends. Service can be slow due to the crowds.- The tikka masala had a slightly unusual grittiness to it. It is unexpected and an acquired taste.OVERALL:- Food was delicious and savory but service was slow. Would go back again to try.

Hi there, I just moved to the city of Burlingame. I walked around downtown on Friday Jan 31st. There were so many restaurants and bars to choose from. I chose to give Rasoi a try to have a cocktail. I sat at the bar. I ordered a cocktail. I took a sip with the straw. It was one of the worse cocktails I've ever had. It was overly sweet and saturated with peppermint. A manager asked me how was my drink. I said it was too sweet. The bartender who made the drink offered to fix it by adding lemon juice. It didn't work. It tasted processed. I couldn't bear to drink it. I left the glass full.I ordered a beer. I asked for the check and I was charged for the drink that was poorly made and for the drink I did not even drink.I will not be coming back to Rasaoi. My bill ended up being $21.93. It's not about the money, it's about the principle. Customer service is not a thing anymore.

Delicious! My hubby and I love it! My choice, the lamb korma for sure! It is creamy. The sliced almond makes the dish appealing. My hubby loves the saag gosh! Also, don't miss the mango Lassi. I wish my stomach can handle more!Their customer service is really great. Without requesting, they offered to exchange my daughter's dish as she said is spicy. So kind, so attentive. Love it here.

This review is for Axol / Axel. He is the manager this sunday evening. Long story short I wasn't able to attend the dinner but still wanted to take care of the bill. He was able to provide a solution and took care of the party. Much appreciated. The party said he very accommodating and nice. Great service will always keep the guests coming back.

Amazing service always. I'm very picky with Indian food & I can say this one is the best place I've been to in a long time. We a got the chicken tikka masala , garlic naan and samosas. Today we got the mushroom tandoori and the lamb tandoori and it did not disappoint. The staff here is so nice & always checks in with us and even stop to chat. The space is relaxed & elegant for a date night. We really enjoyed our evening.

The mango lassi is delicious here! Our favorite dishes are the lamb korma and the paneer korma!

My two friends and I had a great dinner here! Great food and good service in a pleasant environment.We shared the eggplant pakora, chicken tikka, saag paneer, naan, and rice - everything was delicious! The cocktails were good too. The service was friendly, though a bit slow.The space is nice enough, though could stand to be better decorated. The bathroom was clean and spacious.Overall, we had an excellent meal here and look forward to returning!

Staff Sumana was very helpful and patient with us when we weretrying to decide what to order. We ended up ordering(1) chicken tikka masala (we ordered medium spicy, it turned out perfect for us.)(2) tandoori chicken (half): it's very moist and tasty.(3) saag paneer (spinach, cheese): good vegetable choice(4) aloo gobi (cauliflower): tasty(5) garlic nana: tasty

Really loved my recent dinner here! We arrived not long before closing but the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Due to the time left for the kitchen and bar, we ordered pretty quickly and they moved just as fast.Everything we ate was fantastic. Started with a simple green salad & eggplant pakoras, and moved on to the chicken tikka masala and lamb in coconut curry, along with goat cheese naan. Really delicious food and decent pricing.The ambiance is pretty simple, but the food and service are both well worth a visit. Look forward to eating here again.
