QQ Noodle

Aside from being cash only, this place is great in all aspects. You can never go wrong ordering almost anything on their menu (I believe so although I have not yet tried everything). This time I tried the spicy fish fillet noodle soup. I really enjoyed it! It is super flavorful, not overly spicy. The noodles are perfectly chewy, and the fish fillet and nicely fried. This is not something I'd normally go order at any noodle place, but just proves my point again that it's hard to go wrong here!The place has a lot of wooden seating and gives off a cozy vibe. We got seated right away and the food also came out quick. This is definitely one of my go to places.

Came here after they were included in Yelp's top places to eat in the Bay Area list for 2024. I didn't do enough research and know that they are cash only before coming in, but luckily they also accept venmo. Decided to order some of the most popular dishes to see what it was all about. Two of us shared the garlic sauce noodles with pork, cold noodle appetizer, braised beef noodle soup, and pork hock with garlic sauce. We both really liked the garlic sauce noodles with pork and cold noodle appetizer. The pork noodles were a little spicy but nothing too overwhelming for the tastebuds. The noodles in all of the dishes were fantastic, you could tell that they were handmade in house and they really had the perfect chew to them. We were surprised that the pork hock was a cold dish. I liked the flavorful sauce that came on top of it, but didn't love that it was cold. The cut of the beef in the braised beef soup also kinda threw me off since I didn't grow up eating super authentic Chinese food. I didn't personally love the meat, but think that a lot of people would. Portions are large and we had plenty of food to take home with us.

**Overview** Came here with a friend for a Friday dinner at 6pm. We were seated right away with no wait, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a casual, cozy vibe, and the service was quick.**The Experience**We ordered the following:- Liang Pi: A cold, refreshing noodle dish with a generous drizzle of chili oil. The cold noodles, paired with crisp cucumber, complemented the fragrant chili oil really well. It was light, flavorful, and the perfect appetizer. This ended up being my favorite dish of the night.- #24 Garlic Sauce with Pork Noodles: The wide noodles had excellent texture and a perfect chew. The garlic sauce had great potential, but I felt it could've been a bit less oily and more flavorful. Still, the dish was satisfying and hearty.- Vegetable Salad: Steamed greens, served with a simple, savory dressing. It was a nice side to pair with the heavier noodle dishes, offering a fresh balance. While not extraordinary, it added a nice touch to the meal.Overall, QQ Noodle delivered a satisfying and affordable meal. The pricing was very reasonable, and the portions were generous. The Liang Pi was a standout, and I'd definitely return to try more dishes. It's a great spot if you're craving flavorful, comforting noodles in a relaxed setting. Highly recommend for those in the area!

Our go to place for pulled noodle in the San Jose area!Cash only! Service is quick even tho they usually only have 2 people running the front of the restaurant. Both times that we've been here, the restaurant was packed each time, but our food always came out quickly and hot.Their hand pulled noodle is way better than Highland with a more uniform thickness that's just chewy enough. It also seems like a family run business over a chain restaurants. Our go to every time is the hot spicy beef stew soup. Most of the time is the tomato and eggs noodle, and recently the garlic sauce with pork noodle. We haven't tried any dishes here that we don't like yet. They do offer the option to order online and pay in person or online for quicker service. The restaurant does get packed quickly, but the food also comes out super quick.

I've been coming to QQ Noodle since I was a kid with my parents and I've never been disappointed by the food here. The noodles are so fresh and chewy and one of the best in the Bay Area in my opinion.Most recently, I got the tomato egg with flat noodles and spicy beef soup with round noodles. I love the texture of the flat noodles a little better but prefer the round noodles for soup for ease of eating. Generous servings of beef and veggies in the soup, but I wish that there had been a bit more of the tomato egg in relation to the amount of noodles we got. Some of my other favorites are the chow mein and sparerib soup. Eyeing the garlic pork noodles, hot oil noodles, and spicy fish soup to try next!It's a pretty casual spot, you order through a QR code on the table then the food gets brought out to your table pretty quickly.

I'm honestly stunned that this place has such high reviews. On a quest for some beef noodle soup, we picked this place because it had great reviews. My fiancé and I came on a busy Sunday lunch and they were packed. It's cash only by the way. We got two beef noodle soups: mine spicy and his not. When I saw the bowls come out (see photo), I was immediately concerned. It tasted like it looked- very watery and bland. My "spicy" one just had some extra chili oil drizzled on top of it. At first taste, the noodles were decently *QQ*, had a nice chew and good portion. Around half the beef was good, pull apart, the other pieces are harder to eat. The most concerning aspect, though, was the flavorless broth. As we got to the bottom of the bowl, the broth suddenly became more flavorful. It seems like the broth was made from some sort of beef bullion. There was that signature thirsty mouth feel after drinking it. I expected a 'real-er' broth, so it was quite disappointing. I cannot recommend, and I will not be back.

Sigh.. they shouldn't have shown me this place, I actually crave this everyday Someone on my team recommended this restaurant and I've gone 2 more times after because it's just so good! I'm always a thick noodle enthusiast and these noodles are unreal. Theyre chewy, perfectly cooked, paired with flavorful pork (or beef?) and the sauce ties this whole dish together. 10/10! We also ordered the dumplings, which comes with A LOT. Definitely dip them in the vinegar (you will not be disappointed).Not only is the food amazing, but the service??? They're so nice and food comes out so fast! We had a baby with us last time and they acknowledged her when passing by and had kid friendly cutlery and dishes.Haven't had a bad experience, will continue to keep coming back!Total: $62Tip: It's pretty much cash only, so bring cash! Try the hot oil noodles (they're not too spicy imo). TP Tea is next door, order ahead for dessert :)

My coworker lives in Cupertino and recommended this place to me so I brought the family to check it out. We had a party to attend in the South Bay so we were pressed for time. There were lots of people waiting outside, so I was afraid we'd have to pivot. After writing my name down on a clipboard, I asked the server how long the wait would be and was surprised how friendly he was and that the wait would only be about 10 minutes! We actually waited only about half the time! We ordered our food through a QR food and it came out quickly! My family shared the vegetable salad, braised beef noodle soup, garlic pork noodles, hot oil noodles and dumplings. While all the dishes were tasty, the star of the show were definitely the noodles! You have your choice of round or flat, but both are freshly made and hand pulled. Whether you get the noodles in broth or soupless, they are cooked perfectly and have an amazing chew! Just be aware that they are cash only, but I read on Yelp that they also accept Venmo. I just wish this place was closer to where I live!!! Not only is the food excellent, but the service is also good

Went on a rainy day for some noodles and was not disappointed! Service was fast and portions were large. I got the Pork and Garlic Sauce noodles while the rest of my party got the Braised Beef Noodle soup. We all enjoyed the chewiness of the noodles and the flavor.
