10/10 will stop here every time I'm down in San Jose From the egg tarts, sweet bread, and many many flavors of biscoitos. Each flavorful and the right amount of sweetness. I can't wait to try more items. The woman working there was so nice! And the free cup of fresh coffee was delicious too.

So excited to find my favorite flavored water from a trip I took last year to Portugal (Pedras). Bought two 4-packs. Great flavor and not too sweet. The lady behind the register was so nice to give us some samples of the cookies and bread they sell. The cookies were quite good, and I expect we will buy some on our next visit.

Feedback on Sweet BreadMy mom and I during the first trip bought 3 loaves to try out. Let me tell you, these are fantastically delicious! Having Hawaiian roots, this bread tastes like how the Kings bakery bread use to taste like.Portuguese Tasty Desserts bread is a taste that brings back wonderful childhood memories. It's light, it's moist and it's flavorful! It's delicious! My second trip to this bakery and I ended up buying 6 loaves of bread! That's right 6 loaves! That's how delicious they are!!!

I grew up going to another portugués bakery in Santa Clara and I was so sad it closed down. Thankful this one is in town. My favorite bread is the sweet bread. I love it so much. It's so simple and not too sweet. The owners are so nice. I'm glad to have this place in town so I can enjoy sweet bread. It had been years since I had some. U can park on el Camino or on the street around the corner. The place itself is small but I don't mind. I love how u can sample the bread too. It tastes so fresh and soft.

Passed by this super small shop selling Portuguese snacks, desserts, and sandwiches on a Saturday afternoon. There is very few outdoor seats and the inside is pretty much a window stall enough to fit 1-2 ppl at a time. Staff was super nice and service was fast. Items are premade and cannot be warmed up.7/10 Coffee Queijada $3.5 - looks like a pastel de nata but it is not quite the same. The coffee flavor was decently strong and sweetness was about regular. It pairs well with a coffee which was complimentary. Texture was not the flaky crust of an egg tart but rather more spongy and inside was a bit like pudding. It was a good try but other desserts look interesting and I would opt to try other items next time.

There were plenty of parking available around this tiny mom and pop bakery. There were tables and chairs outside this establishment. Once we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly owner. She offered us samples of the sweet bread. There were so many varieties of baked goods. We bought two malasadas, rice pudding, pastel de natas, coffee queijada, bolo de arroz rice cake, passion fruit queijada, and custard cavacas. The custard and guava malasadas brought back memories of our Hawaii trips. They were generous with the fillings. The rice pudding weren't too sweet, which we liked. The pastel de natas were flaky on the outside and the filling was like egg pudding. The coffee and passion fruit queijadads and the custard cavacas were also delicious. All these baked goods paired well with coffee or tea. The sweet, kind owner gave us two cups of complimentary coffee for the road. We will be back to try their cinnamon roll and cookies.

I've been before for pastries which are delicious! Today I stopped by because I put in an order for their special chicken meal! A great deal for the combo with the delicious rolls, potato salad, & sumol. I also grabbed a passion fruit and a coffee queijada to try some flavors different than traditional. Teresa is very sweet and welcoming into the little store. Definitely would like to come back more often! Even just for the delicious rolls!

Was craving a malassada and found this place through Yelp. I ordered ahead online for pickup and realized they only made these on Saturdays. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very sweet lady, who was super nice to us. The store inside is really small and only has enough room to stand. Service was great and I was even offered a cup of coffee for free for the road. Malassadas (4/5): I got three flavors to try: Custard, Coconut, and Guava. One common theme with these malassadas was the lack of filling inside. There was probably 85% dough and 15% filling. Also, I noticed that if you didn't heat up the malassada, it would be a bit dry. Other than that, the malassadas were good. I thought the filling flavor was so good and the sugar on the outside wasn't too sweet. If there was more filling, I think it would've made the malassada a lot better.
