Pop Up Tea is hands-down my new favorite boba spot! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the coziest vibe and friendliest staff. Their drinks are delicious & Who doesn't love a boba shop that's Instagram-worthy and tasty? They got a area decorated with cute Christmas decor where you can take selfies The menu has such a fun variety, and everything I've tried so far has been amazing! Their house milk tea is perfectly sweet and creamy, and the egg pudding is also a great topping. I also love their avocado smoothie with ice cream so creamy, like a sip of happiness!What really makes Pop Up Tea stand out is the little details: thoughtful customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay and sip all day.If you're in San Jose and craving boba, you have to pop by Pop Up Tea. It's a total 10/10 experience every time!

I had a pretty good experience here previously and the first time I came to this spot was probably back in 2016. Unfortunately, some things only get worse with time and this spot is a prime example. I got the taro milk tea as I wasn't looking to have caffeine late at night, which already seemed pricey on the ordering kiosk. I'm so not a fan of the implementation of kiosks at boba shops because I do prefer having the human interaction, and those kiosks oftentimes charge a convenience fee which the one here definitely did.I really hate bringing dollar amounts into my reviews but I can't help but feel that it's significant here. I ended up paying $6.95 for a taro milk tea made from taro powder without any additional toppings and with no taro chunks. Usually I'd just tell you if a place is value for money or not so much, but at almost $7 for just milk with powder I couldn't recommend this place less. I've gotten real taro paste with real taro chunks and on some occasions a topping too for that price, so I definitely left feeling scammed.Their cups used to have really cute and pretty designs on them but the one I got on this visit didn't. The ambiance inside is still cute, thoughtfully decorated, but the hanging menu doesn't depict prices and given what I got for the price I paid, well, you can either see for yourself or take my advice.

It was super cute and had such a nice ambience. The service was quick and it was super easy to order! I was craving something sweet and they definitely delivered with their pandan waffle. My siblings enjoyed their orders as well, my sister forgot to order boba with her drink but overall enjoyed it!

Nice ambiance. Relaxing place to hang out and drink your tea. I had the bomb lemon honey green tea 25% sweetness. My son says the passion fruit green tea is too sweet even at 25%. But very tasty. We would come back when we are in the area to try the other teas.

My First time here at this Pop Up Tea, Coffee and Snacks! Super Glad I came across this Welcoming and Charming Boba Shop. I came to this side of town to meet my friends 4 lunch and have been wanting to visit this place for quite sometime now.Loving the indoor and outdoor seatings area. Cool, Cute, and Cozy interior setting too! Drinks are great for my taste. Many Great Snacks Options here as well! Will absolutely come back to try other items and food on their menu!

This place looked really good on here so we thought we would give it a try. I got the strawberry milk tea with strawberry jellies... I did not like it it didn't even taste like strawberry. My daughter's strawberry smoothie was very good, I joked asking if I could trade her but she said no.I also got the strawberry Panna cotta which I guess Asian Panna cotta's are different? It was not like Panna cotta at all it actually tasted like banana it didn't taste like strawberry at all it just had a red gelatin on the top that had no flavor with a couple very sour strawberries on the top

Ordered the Thai milk tea with boba here. The Thai tea flavor was good but I found the boba a tad bit tough and not as chewy as I would like. Decent spot but def not on my top of the boba list for the Bay Area.

I ordered the Oolong Milk Tea. It wasn't as aromatic as I was hoping it to be.Pop up Tea was quite a drive to get to and was a little underwhelming. I am glad I gave it a shot but I do feel like there are other boba shops that offer stronger teas.

Visiting from out of town and boba sounded perfect on a 95 degree day. The shop is hidden away in the back of a strip mall, but feels like an oasis when you step inside. The decor is incredibly cute and trendy, complete with an IG backdrop to take pics of your drink of choice. There are also a bunch of comfy nooks to enjoy your drink. The aircon was welcome after being outside in such hot weather. I opted for the Matcha Fresh Milk Tea with Boba. Refreshing and light. They don't skimp on the boba either. Service was SUPER quick and drinks were up on the counter in under 5 minutes. Stop by if you're wanting an IG worthy treat with flavor to back it up!
