Plaza Bottle Shop

It's a great store very nice people except the one I delt with this morning. He's very disrespectful and rude He did it infront of a vendor. I've been going there for 25 years I even worked there for a year after I retired. I've heard from other neighbors he's rude with them as well. I spend at least $300 a month at the business and I've never been rude to him. I'll be avoiding the store when he's working.7/11 is up the street.

You know why I like going in here? Because of their ever changing selection.You want the classics? Sure - they have them. You can almost always find an iced cold Pliny here but more than that - they also always seem to have the newest beers in there too. I am talking about beers that are on Instagram - they will probably be available here too. I love their selection and the person behind the counter is always so friendly and nice. Love to see what they have in the shop next!

Best liquor store in the Bay Area. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff and an outstanding selection at very reasonable prices. It's nice to find a place where the staff remember and recognize their regular/recurring customers and are quick to point out when they've gotten something new in stock that they think you're going to like. I also love that Tom is committed to providing high quality bourbons without playing any of the crazy games every other smaller family owned shop in Northern California seems to have fallen in to. Literally every other store I walk in to has decided to buy up all the highly allocated and hyped stuff and quadruple (or more) the MSRP in order to maximize profit without any concern for people who actually enjoy quality whiskey. Bourbon isn't supposed to be crazy expensive!! Tom makes sure they have an excellent selection of quality bourbon that doesn't require you to pay crazy inflated prices. Thank you guys for your commitment to taking care of your customers!

I was able to buy a case of Pliny the Elder to bring back with me to Vegas. No need to go into a lengthy review... that alone deserves five stars.

Plaza Bottle Shop is definitely a go to. You go there for great bottles of beer, liquor and wine when you can't find them anywhere else. They have an awesome selection and awesome prices. I can find Pliny the Elder there as well, if I come on the right day and right time. Jack, Chris and Jesse are super helpful and saved me on Black Friday this year when I had to work. The beer selection is usually what I go in for. They have great ones in the case, as well as ones on the shelf. I almost didn't write this review because I didn't want to chance YOU buying what I'm looking for! Lol! Cheers!

Finally found a place that's a couple miles from home that not only has a ridiculous selection of ale, but they appear to maintain a steady stream of one of my favorite ales of all time: Pliny The Elder from Russian River Brewing. Fans of this ale know that it's not typically easy to find. The selection in general is pretty impressive, though I wish they had a larger selection of magnums to choose from. Lots of four and six packs, but not a ton of single bottles. Overall a nice store and I'll definitely be back.

You can't find it here... it probably doesn't exist...The Plaza Bottle Shop has a wide selection of get right juice ya diggg...kool people's here...

Thank you co-worker for turning me on to Plaza Bottle Shop for my stop-by-after-work place to find stouts and porters! Can always count on finding some Lagunitas and Drake's, but have also found many others, including an Anderson Valley Bourbon Barrel Stout, Ballast Point Victory at Sea Porter with Coffee & Vanilla, Midnight Sun Brewtality Espresso Black Beer (okay - not technically a stout), Black Flag Imperial Stout, Shipyard Signature Series Imperial Stout and Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout (2015). And this was just two visits, my friends.On/off freeway access is super convenient, and parking lot makes it a breeze to get in and out. Plaza will earn their 5th star if they a) continue stocking a varying selection of stouts and b) carry more bourbon barrel aged stouts. Oh, and if they stalk a Goose Island stout, somebody message me and I'll leave my desk at work, my bed at home, my family at the dinner table - wherever I am - and fly down to buy it.*Update one day later* I had a stout tasting for friends Saturday evening with my purchases and the Stone Farking Weaton w00tstout was so outstanding that I drove down to SL Sunday morning and picked up 6 more bottles for the cellar. I left two in the fridge, though, so get down there fast...you're welcome!

Gotta give these guys the bump up for having some very tough to find brews that my go-to BevMo doesn't even carry! Now, Plaza Bottle Shop isn't exactly the most glamorous liquor store by any means. In fact, "No frills" would be a bit of an understatement...ie. I wouldn't feel terribly comfortable here after sunset.But whether it's spirits, wines or beers, you'll more than likely find it here. Oak-aged Old Rasputin, Knee Deep's Hoptologist, Simtra and Hop Shortage, collaboration beerss between the likes of brewers including Stone and The Bruery...I felt like a fat kid in a candy store! Despite the less than stellar interior, the staff are as friendly as can be with big smiles and much willingness to help you find the right bottle.And being less than a five minute drive away, I'll be back again and again to make my way further into the beer horizon.

Great high quality wine and beer choices. Ask for recommendations from Michelle, she's the best!
