Great Thai spot! We tried the pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, Tom kha soup and grilled shrimp. Everything was delicious although I would skip the shrimp next time. The restaurant is clean, beautiful and stylish. A great place for a date or happy hour. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat here again and recommend to a friend .

It's a pretty decent Thai restaurant!I've sat outside a few times, but this was my first time dining inside. The service, atmosphere, and food were all great. Both the service and atmosphere were casual, but the food seemed to have more attention to detail than typical casual places, and the taste was noticeably better compared to others. The Tom Yum Goong was great, and the Green Curry was delicious too!

Happy Hour is from 4-6pm and we arrived on a Friday afternoon right when they opened for dinner, which is from 4-9:30pm. We mainly came for Happy Hour to enjoy some drinks and food. For drinks, we ordered a margarita and an Old Fashioned, each around $8. Drinks were pretty strong. I ended up getting two margaritas because why not? Haha.As for food, we tried the Pixel Wings with Thai chili sauce. The wings were on the smaller side. I think they're just split bones from regular sized wings. We also ordered Beef Jerky, Garlic Smelt Fish, and Garlic Noodles. Everything was delicious, cheap, and very filling. The interior had a nice, cozy ambiance, but it was a bit on the darker side inside. A little more lighting would be better especially for dining.Other than that, I'd definitely come back to try other dishes.

I had the Pad See U with chicken and I wasn't blown away by the food. It's alright for the price. There are a fair amount of tables inside and outside. On a Monday night we were able to get seating inside with no wait. The plaza itself is nice because there's plenty of parking in the garage. We felt a bit rushed at the end after we had paid but were still eating. We were asked if they could clean the table for another party before some of us were done eating. Overall, it was alright.

One of the best Thai restaurants we've found in South Bay! We visited Pineapple Thai for dinner on a Friday evening, and found them super busy. The only available tables were outside on the (dog friendly) front patio, which thankfully had propane heaters. I didn't see much of the interior, but it looked cute and colorfully decorated. For drinks, they were out of their most creative mocktail (can't find the name of it now, but it was topped with popcorn), so we both got the Passionfruit Margarita mocktail instead. This ended up being super tasty, with a tart fruity flavor. I loved the passionfruit puree/seeds in it! We also ordered the Pixel Wings as a starter. The wings were really tiny, but had a nice flavor and sweet chili dipping sauce. For entrees, we decided to share the Pineapple Fried Rice and Asian Glazed Duck Noodle. Both of these were fantastic! The grilled glazed duck breast was so soft and the noodles were delicious and garlicky. The Pineapple Fried Rice was also super flavorful, and I loved the cashews and raisins mixed in. We also couldn't resist getting the Pineapple Pie for dessert. It was the perfect portion size for sharing and went so great with the coconut ice cream and pineapple jam on top. Service was fast and friendly, and we ended up with leftovers to bring home. Would totally return!

Not a lot of space inside if you want somewhere warm. Food is great. Avoid the spicy ox tail soup. Too much bones and too spicy. Best dishes is steak pad see u noodles.Parking is easy to find.

Pineapple Thai is located in Main St. Cupertino, right in between Eureka and Koi Palace Contempo. It's a beautiful restaurant with a bar. Gave me sophisticated modern tropical vibes, but just a bit small indoors. They do have shaded outdoor seating. We came around 11:45am on a Saturday and only half the outdoor tables were filled, empty indoors. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the nice weather. The tables were shaded with umbrellas. Very cool on a hot day! It felt like we were in tropical area with the plants and decor. Lol We ordered.. GRILLED PORK & LYCHEE SALAD $17 -tossed in spiced tamarind dressing. Refreshing, light, sweet and tangy. The dressing was yummy! The grilled pork was tender. The lychee gave it a sweet contrast to the tanginess. They gave a lot of grilled pork too. Only wished the salad portion was larger and more cold. I was skeptical of this dish when we ordered it but it exceeded my expectations! 4/5*CHICKEN PAD THAI $19 -small rice noodles stir fried in savory tamarind sauce, with tofu, egg, chive, onion, bean sprout and peanut. We requested no bean sprouts, spicy level 4. It was very flavorful, had a subtle wok taste and was actually spicy! The sauce was on the sweeter side but I actually enjoyed that since it was tangy too, especially after a squeeze of lime. The noodles were chewy and chicken was cooked well but I didn't care for their tofu. My husband said it didn't taste "authentic" but he still liked it. 4.5/5*PORK PAD KEE MAO $19 -spicy wok-fried flat rice noodles with thai chili, basil, fresno chili and cherry tomatoes. Requested spicy level 4. Noodles were soft with a slight chew, which I liked. Pork was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Very tasty just wanted more wok hee and it needed more tomatoes and basil 4/5*We asked for chili powder and oh-weee it was spicy. Loved it! If you like spicy food then definitely ask for it. Service was good, our server checked up on us and refilled our waters. Pretty much everyone we encountered was friendly. Would definitely come back to try their other dishes! They also have vegetarian options, weekday lunch specials and even happy hour everyday from 4-6pm

I reserved this place to ensure that we have indoor seating. Although my reservation was for 2, they were able to accommodate last minute addition of 3 people total. The customer service was great as they refill the water constantly and check on the food mid-way. The indoor seating is cozy. The food we got was delicious. With 3 of us and 4 dishes, the bill turned out to be $110, which wasn't bad considered the amount of leftover for another meal. The Asian glazed duck noodles was yummy. The duck breast was soft and moist. The pineapple fried rice cannot go wrong. The only dish with no picture was Kor Moo Yang. This is a dish that I enjoyed the most as I haven't had something like this before. The grilled pork was tender. The sticky ube rice was plain, but balanced out perfectly with the sauce. The sauce was the game changer from my view. I enjoyed my time here and would totally go back.

If you're craving Thai flavors in Main Street Cupertino, Pineapple Thai is a must-try, especially for those willing to splurge a bit. Yes, it's a little pricey--at $34 for the fried shrimp--but the quality and flavors are worth it. Here's my breakdown based on just two standout dishes:1. Fried Shrimp ("Not for a hot date") * Hands down, one of the best fried shrimp dishes I've had. * Each bite is perfectly golden and crispy, with that satisfying crunch. * The real highlight? The fried garlic. Generously layered on top, it's perfectly seasoned and fried, adding a bold, aromatic flavor to every bite. This is a dish that garlic lovers will adore! * Honestly, I'd come back just for this. It's that good.2. Gang Kyo Wan (Green Curry): * This green curry has all the rich, comforting qualities you'd expect. * Mildly spicy, it strikes a nice balance--enough heat to keep it interesting without overwhelming. * The sauce is creamy and smooth, with fresh herbs and tender veggies, perfect for spooning over rice. * It's a delicious, warming dish that complements the bold flavors of the shrimp.Service: * Attentive and friendly, the staff here make you feel welcome and seem genuinely excited to share their flavors.Overall:If you're at Main Street Cupertino and in the mood for Thai, Pineapple Thai is worth the visit. The fried shrimp alone makes it special--garlic lovers, don't miss this!

Presentation of the food is gorgeous. Food is also delicious and did not disappoint. Service is amazing, our server was friendly and cracking jokes with us, making sure we had a good time. We sat outside because we had a dog and it was a good experience. I enjoyed the outdoors because they made the outside very comfortable with decor, plants, and shade available for us. I really liked the purple sticky rice came in a Thai rice basket. Very cute. Everything can be family style so it's a great way to try all the delicious items on the menu. Would go here again.
