Pho Tasty

While there are plenty of great options for Vietnamese food in the bay area, this place really stood out to me on my lunch adventure. The service was quick and friendly, and before long I had an excellent bowl of filet mignon Pho Bo presented to me. The broth was perfectly balanced with all the subtle notes of savory and sweet playing with the thinly sliced and perfectly raw meat that was cooking in the soup right as it dropped. The noodles were a healthy serving and the toppings were fresh. I would come back here in a heartbeat anytime I'm looking for an excellent meal! Would love to try some of the other dishes as well as I'm sure they'd be just as tasty.

Pho Tasty in Berkeley is quite alright. They dish up Vietnamese cuisine specializing in pho. Many vegan options on the menu. I enjoyed a hearty nourishing bowl of the Vegetable Pho Chay that came with heaps of veggies in a vegetable broth and added tofu. It was quite alright.Service was very friendly along with being accommodating.There are two screens in the restaurant that were showing sports including a tennis game and the Lakers vs Grizzlies basketball game. I saw LeBron and company against the Grizzlies with Scottie Pippen junior who is a dynamic 23 year old guard who while shorter than his hall of fame father still has serious game. Scottie Pippen attended the game so enjoyed my bowl of pho and got to take in some hoops.Recommended for tasty nourishing pho in the heart of Berkeley with plenty of vegan options.

Pho Tasty in Berkeley is amazing! I had the small filet mignon pho, and it was perfect! the broth was rich, the meat was tender, and the noodles were just right. Great portions and quick service too. Definitely recommend!

I order vegetarian pho or chicken rice plate and price is affordable for a vegetarian meal. The other options of pho or rice differ on choice of protein. Pho was good. Service was fast. Good for children. I have not needed to wait to be served.

Ben gave us excellent service. He was very friendly and courteous. I have to admit that our pho dac biet was delicious . It's their best seller and the best tasting pho I've ever ate considering I've had many. Added in the pho is filet mignon and other ingredients. This is the first time I ate pho with filter mignon. Wow that is definitely a plus ...I actually told my partner's neighbor to go there as we were speaking to him on the phone during dinner@ Pho Tasty. I organize social events for 50+ meetup in the East Bay: therefore, I will definitely bring my group at this establishment. It's the best..And let's not forget about the interior of this modern Vietnamese restaurant. It was very modern and decorated with very goood taste ... What is not to like about Pho Tasty! I'm glad I stumbled upon it asking good #by googling the top at the nice restaurants in Berkeley California ... Thanks again Ben for being there for us.. You should get a raise....

Pho Tasty opened in The Happy Holigan's vacated space. Interior totally furnished with wall murals. Offerings: Filet Mignon, tofu/vegetables, poultry, seafood, pork, stir fried noodles, charboiled meats, fried rice, pho Bo, pho ga, clay pots, apps, Eats: Bun Rieu (18)-a mix of tofu cubes, vermicelli noodles, ground pork meatballs, cha lau in a tomato & "fresh crab" broth. Didn't taste crab, tasted a lot of shrimp paste. Topped with scallion, cilantro, basil, iceberg lettuce, jalepeno slices, lime squeeze.-blood cubes, pig feet not noticed. The former due to many patrons dislike of it.*tastes similar though missing a few key items. Shrimp paste was the main reason for bun Rieu taste. Leftovers:-would have ordered something else if I had read ingredient list throughly.-difficult to access location due to routing on street traffic.

Looking for some good ole Noodle Soup comfort food and read the reviews about this place so thought I'd try it... I got the Wonton Noodle Soup with Egg Noodles. It came with a very generous amount of Shrimp & Pork Wontons with Sliced BBQ Pork on top with Bok Choy. De-lish!!!!! I also order the Egg Rolls but for $14 for 5 which came out to roughly $2.80 each and I thought it a bit pricey (maybe because I did a delivery order) but they were good! Over all this place is a little more pricier than other Vietnamese/Pho restaurants but the quality of food is superior! This place is definitely on my repeat list!

You want some amazing pho in berkley? Well, look no further friend, you found em! We were looking for some pho to warm us up and we looked it up... we found pho tasty on yelp and we have no regrets. The servings are amazing. I ordered a small as seen I'm the photo and it filled me up for sure. Everything was great service was direct, polite and fast. Thr good came out fast. Parking is kinda challenging here but on general that is Berkeley, am I right? Thr tables are clean, there is some nice background music that allows you to converse wjtb your date. There is enough space for large parties. Come out here! You will leave with a full tummy and a smile on your face.

First time to visit, but I did not order any food because of the rude reaction of the guy in front desk. I enjoy food with respect.
