Came by for dinner after coming back from key west, Florida. We were hungry and wanted some Vietnamese pho for the cold Sunday. Place wasn't too full. They gave us the menu and took the order pretty quickly. My little one who is usually picky rate the store 5 stars. She didn't finish her pho but brought it home and still ate it the next day. The pho had good flavors, and I like the way they thinly slice their meat. They also gave us plenty of basil and veggies. They did have a notice that they would be closed from 2/24-3/15. Just FYI.

Food was amazing! Another great new pho place in San Jose. I ordered the Short Ribs rice plate and the ribs had such amazing flavor. My BF ordered the steak and brisket pho and the flavor of the broth was soo good. It didn't even need the extra sauces like Hoisin and Sriracha. The owner was also so nice and gave such great service. He was so attentive and flexible. I asked for a side of broth for my plate and he was more than willing to do so.Safe to say I found a new favorite Pho restaurant.

My date and I were craving some classic pho and decided to check out Pho Life, mainly because it was labeled as dog-friendly. We arrived around 7:15 PM and noticed that less than half of the seats were occupied. I overheard that this spot isn't as popular as the pho joints near Vietnam Town, but honestly, I think it has a lot of potential. We both ordered the Pho Dac Biet (large), and it was super yummy! The broth was rich and flavorful--though slightly diluted, which is pretty common. The slices of meat were generous (and I devoured them all), and the garnishes were plentiful, laid out on the table before our pho even arrived. The bill came out to around $39 before tip (don't worry, we tipped!), which felt reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. Now, onto the ambiance. If there's one thing that could be improved, it's the lighting--it was a bit too bright, making the space feel a little sterile. A warmer tone would go a long way in creating a more inviting atmosphere. Also, I had to use the restroom, and the floor was kind of sticky, which was a bit off-putting.Overall, great food and solid service, but the ambiance didn't quite hit the mark. Still, it satisfied what my partner and I were looking for, and I'd consider coming back when I'm in the area!

I finally made it to this spot after having it on my "must-try" list for a while and it did not disappoint! First off, parking was a breeze (always a plus), and the place itself is spacious and welcoming. I got seated right away and greeted with a smile off to a great start.I went with the Bún Bò Huế, and let me tell you... flavor packed and just the right amount of spice (though if you love heat, you could definitely kick it up a notch). The broth was rich, the thinly sliced meat was melt in your mouth tender, and every bite was pure comfort.Service was great. The staff were super friendly which made the experience even better. The only downside no vegetarian options, so keep that in mind if you're dining with veggie loving friends.Overall, if you're a fan of bold flavors and great service, give this spot a try! I'll definitely be back.

I wanted to try their other specialty dish.Spicy Beef Noodle Soup: with pork blood, tendon, and Vietnamese pork sausage (4/5). Rich, flavorful broth and they automatically made it spicy. Other places offer you the choice. The noodles were soft and springy. The meats and other goodies were decent. The service was nice and polite.

I'm going to admit that this would've been 4.5 stars mainly because the bar is high. My top pho places I won't name out of respect for this establishment are amazing, but this is top 5 in my book.Quick Hits:+ 15% off for grand opening was an unexpected surprise. I'm not sure how long this will last so come now! (5/5)+ Service is top notch with water served promptly and refilled (5/5)+ Pho Dac Biet large can be fresh noodles (the thicker ones) or normal. It comes with plenty of meat, tripe, meatball, and a couple tendon pieces. Soup is good and better than average. (4/5)I am interested in trying their BBH but at the same time I love how they focus on pho. The great pho places I go to offer rib bone on the side. I'm not saying they should emulate that, but I'll certainly get it if they offer for a reasonable price.

I might not be an expert on Vietnamese food, but I have my fair share of pho throughout my entire life and have gone to most of the "top" pho spots in the bay area including Pho Kim Long and Pho ha Noi. Honestly, those "top" spots are not as good as they used to be, and I would recommend you to come to Pho Life instead. We ordered their small combination pho and a side of shrimp spring roll. While the spring roll is decent, their pho is really what you should be focusing on. Their broth is not the clear broth you see in most places - instead it's a bit murky and you can tell it's a beef broth that they made from scratch. It has a really deep umami flavor that I don't get from my pho places - it might be a bit gamey for some but it's the kind of flavor I crave. The combination comes with all kind of meat (including tendon and meatball!), but what I really appreciate is that they don't skim on the meat - it might have been small for the noodle but it feels like a large for the meat you get! While it could just be establishing a good impression as a new business, I think the amount is still decent even if they cut back a bit - it would still be roughly on par with the other "top" spots. The service has been very attentive and the restaurant definitely feels new with the shiny renovation. All in all, I'm really happy with the pho and I would definitely come back again.

Came here on a Thursday evening and was seated right away. There were a couple of other tables taken at that time, but it was still quite early for dinner. We ordered the bun bo hue and pho tai chin. Food came out pretty quickly, along with the garnishes. There was also sriracha, fish sauce and chili oil on the side as well. The bun bo hue was pretty good and came with a lot of meat pieces. The soup for the pho had a very clear taste! They put the garnishes for both our dishes on the same plate, so it was piled high and a little hard to pick up our respective garnishes. The restaurant is located in a small plaza with a couple other restaurants and a tae kwon do dojo. We didn't have trouble finding parking. Would come here again, but I'd get the pho next time!

Came here for dinner last night and it's not disappointed. I tried the spicy beef noodles and bo bia , both of them was good. The noodle is flavorful and the sauce for bo bia taste like how it supposed to be. My daughter ordered the fried dumpling and she finished the plate before I even got to try it. I'll try other dishes the next time. 5 stars for me.
