Had a chance to try this new pho spot this week. Went around 130p and got sat right away. There were about 5 other tables occupied. Decor looked pretty modern and clean as others have shown in their pics.Food was just on par with all the other average pho places in the area. Broth was good, but not anything special or memorable to make me want to go back. I ordered the "special pho" which had meatballs (small sized), flank steak, tendon and a few other items. Also a bit pricey for the surrounding area.

Best Pho in SJ so far, you can taste the broth with actual bones sweetness and not msg flavored like the other places. I rarely give good reviews but this place deserve it.

Pho Dang has easily made its way to the top of my pho list! Their broth is delicious with savory and sweet notes that doesn't feel heavy at all. It has a clean and refreshing taste reminiscent of the pho broths I've had in Vietnam. The average pho restaurant around San Jose usually leans too heavy toward one flavor profile and I can taste the MSG, but I think Pho Dang's broth balances all the notes well. The meat is good quality, and I love that they serve fresh noodles by default. On the table, they have what I assume is a house-made spicy orange sauce. It definitely has a kick, and I would recommend mixing it with sriracha sauce unless you can handle the spiciness. I love that they have pickled garlic on the table as well. You don't see pickled garlic in many pho places. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but they seem to get people in and out. I love the Indochinese-inspired decor. It reminds me of some the hotels I've stayed at in Vietnam. This is probably the most beautiful pho restaurant I've ever eaten at.Pho Dang has secured its spot as one of my two favorite pho places in San Jose besides Pho Papa. I recommend it!

My favorite pho place. I saw a tiktok/ig reel about this being the best pho place in the bay. I was skeptical. But this place is the real deal. The pho always comes out al dente, the broth is so tasty on its own, and I love that there are unique toppings like garlic and their own special in house spicy sauce that you can dip the meat into. Also my husband and I both agree that the meat is super tender!!! And they're generous with the meat.We went during the Christmas holidays and there was a huge line outside the block. Another time we went on a Sunday and there was no line at all.If we didn't live 45 minutes away I would probably be there everyday. The inside decor is also quite fancy and upscale. It's one of the nicer pho places I've been to. It is my new favorite pho place and I've a regular throughout my life to over 20 at least.

Delicious little new spot. Yummy pho, great meat quality, noodles, soup... everything. Pickled garlic and house orange sauce was amazing when added to siracha and hoisin. Only con was that the egg in soup was $5!!! Crazy... and it only came with 1. Just be careful cause the menu states that it's 2.50 and sadly they didn't honor that for me. Aside from that will be back for more garlic. And no more eggs.

Came here around 3PM on a Sunday and the restaurant was packed! Luckily there was one table left for us. The restaurant is very nice and clean. I got the Pho Tai Bam (minced beef pho) and I loved it. The broth was very flavorful and more clear compared to a lot of pho places. They also had garlic at the tables if you're a fan of garlic!

Been wanting to try since it opened. Gavin loves Vietnamese food but he prefers broken rice plates so I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to come here. I typically work from home on Thursdays and Fridays but what made me go out of my way to have lunch here was because I felt like I was coming down w/ a cold. Gavin was just sick this past Monday and Tuesday. After a stop at Petsmart on Curtner, I found myself driving here instead of Roots (a pho place located in the same plaza as Petsmart). I don't get to eat out by myself often, so I took advantage to spoil myself. It's in the same parking/plaza as Walmart. I have never been to Crawdaddy, so I had no idea where this was located based on the reviews. Parking wasn't an issue but it can get tight here, so come early. I was seated right away and ordered w/in 2 min. of being seated. I ordered a ca phe sua da in a to-go cup and a pho dac biet. I appreciate the level of detail and aesthetics this place strived to create. Even my water cup had the restaurant name on it, including my ca phe sua da cup (very strong, the way I like it). The broth is clean, clear, rich, and aromatic. I did opt for fresh noodles but I really enjoyed was their pho, generous amounts of meat, and quick service. The fresh herbs elevated the already flavorful broth. It was very good. I agree w/ Matt S. about this place. I do plan to come back when I can take myself out again. There is nothing like the peace and quiet from dining by yourself w/ delicious food.

Had dinner with a friend here a couple nights ago and really enjoyed ourselves! The restaurant feels a lot more elevated in ambiance with the fancy stuffed chairs, shiny tables and furniture, and good lighting. Service was also fast and attentive, though we came in around 5:40pm on a Tuesday and it was fairly empty (tables started to fill with people as we were almost finishing our food).I think the broth here has a lot of dimensionality and depth of flavor even as it also tastes cleaner and lighter than I've had at other pho restaurants (cleaner does not mean blander, here!). Really enjoyed it as well as the noodles (they offer you a choice of what width noodle you get); I got the default thin noodles as I just wanted traditional pho.I think their meat cuts are not as nice as other meat cuts I've gotten at other Pho restaurants (I got rare steak and brisket in my bowl this time), but still delicious and enjoyable.

Came here because other pho places were busy. Lots of seared and not busy on a Sunday night. Love the vibes and the aesthetic inside. The pho broth is good but not anything special. I ordered mine with the thick noodles which I like. I also like how they give you water in one of their nice cups. The waiters are super nice! My sister and I rate the food and overall place around a 7/10.

The aesthetic and customer service is AMAZING. The restaurant itself is so clean. I had ordered the pho dac biet and coconut juice. The food and drinks came out minutes after we ordered. The coconut juice was sweet and came with coconut meat, I would just ask for a taller straw since it was a little difficult to drink. The water came with a bamboo straw which I really liked. The pho itself was okay. The broth was okay but I love that there was a side of pickled garlic and hot sauce. I like that use authentic pho noodles but for an extra charge. The meat itself was terrible. The tendon still had lots of hair, the filet mignon was super thick and the other meats had parts where I feel like they shouldn't feed to customers. Overall I thought this place was super cute but the quality of pho was not up to par in my opinion.
