Pho Cuong 2

Sometimes when you chose to be spontaneous, it comes back and bites you in the behind..I haven't had pho in a while, and decided to go fulfill my cravings. I noticed Pho Cuong was in the neighborhood, and I never tried it. Why not?The moment I walked in, it was completely empty. I don't remember what time it was, but it's rare to ever walk into a completely empty restaurant. All good. I sat at a table, and first thing I notice was everything was sticky. The sauce plates, sauces, table etc. This is an older place clearly. I almost got up and walked out, but all good, I'm already here.I ordered the combination pho, with spring rolls. The food came out fairly quick. From the moment it came out, it was a little disappointing. The broth was somewhat bland, the bowl was just sad. The spring rolls were tiny. I was pretty disappointed. I definitely won't be back.It was good to see people coming in and ordering take out, as there were quite a few during the time I was there. Everyone has different taste, this just isn't mine.

With so many Vietnamese phở restaurants this is my go to for its phở ga (chicken soup), com dia (rice plates) and phở bò (beef noodle soup which comes in three size small, medium and large tax is already included. Prices are very reasonable with generous portion. Been coming out here for the past six years and quite hidden from traffic in this tightly knit strip mall. Came by on a Saturday morning always greeted by the young gentleman or one of the staff employees. Spacious interior have one TV plasma screen and usually have some sort of sport event on. Complimentary tea is usually serve before placing your order I chose #21 chicken noodle soup with rice noodle and skinless chicken meat large size $15 and Thai iced tea $4. Large size is more Godzilla size and I has my fill and very refreshing. Would highly recommend Phở Cường 2 for its price and service.

The kids wanted Vietnamese food after church and we were sad to learn that our go to place was closed! Fortunately it allowed us to discover this quiet, little pho shop!I would say overall rating on a Sunday evening would be a solid three, but their reasonable prices bumps this place to a 4 star review in my book!We got the seafood pho, #64 (grilled pork and shrimp), and the 51 the cubed filet mignon beef and broccoli. While the broccoli was tasty we probably wouldn't order that again. We would recommend the pho and the vermicelli bowl! Good flavor on the grilled pork and the pho was very reliably made!An order of cha gio was only $5This will be a place that makes it into our rotation!

Friendly staff! I stop by often to get my Vietnamese Iced Coffee, sometimes changing it up with the Thai Milk Tea.

Food is excellent and fast service. Perfect and spacious inside seating. Menu was simple and don't expect variety of appetizers.

I absolutely love this place for takeout. They always package everything with care and generous portions. Everything keeps super well for a few days, too! Service is always quick when I do takeout, even when it's quite busy. Although most pho restaurants have pretty similar menus, Pho Chong sets themselves apart with their great service.

This place was soooo amazing!!! I highly recommend everyone to come. Their food is super delicious at a reasonable price. The quality of food is fresh with lots of flavor. The service fast and friendly. It's a comfortable place to eat. The people working have great customer service. My friend and i were waiting outside for our ride and the owner let us sit inside and wait even though they were going to close soon. If you're in the area you should definitely check it out!

We missed regular lunch hours, so we decided to give this place a try. Nothing fancy, but the food hit the spot. Uncle took the order and auntie served us food. He brought us candies before we left. I like how he answered me with a huh when I said uncle~ it's so natural and heartwarming!

I know this place when I first came to the US. I came back to this place with my co-worker due to convenient but it was a disaster lunch. I am not sure how this restaurant got 4 star reviews. The broth is clear and doesn't look like tradition bone broth, it's not better than a quick fixed pho at our home.
