YAY !! One of my favorite Vietnamese coffee spots is now in South Bay !!Layout looks similar to their location in Newark! Same owner :) Love this location cause it's located in a small plaza, aka there's parking ! Also good amount of seating incase you want to hangout or do work here.Current soft opening gives you 20% off - not sure when that will end. Makes drinks even more worth it at around $5.52!|Salted Coffee (Reg price: $6.90)| -- my go-to! Peep my pic on the right side, that blend of whatever salted cream (?) they use is delicious with their strong Vietnamese coffee. You get the perfect blend of lil bit salty, not too sweet, with strong coffee flavors shining through with each sippy sip. Regular sweetness is okay for me ! (as someone who always gets things less sweet)|Egg Coffee (Reg price: $6.90)| - If you want a creamier drink and try out the coffee egg phenomenon. I'd probably get this less sweet if you want a stronger taste that isn't too sweet.Ive tried pandan and ube coffee at their Newark location and did enjoy them! Pandan more than the ube since the flavor was more apparent. Ube wasnt bad, but tasted more sweet to me.Tried their pandan waffle ($5.50) and it was pretty yummy! Chewy in a good-bite type of way, but still had crispy sides !Cant wait to try out their banh mi !

New Vietnamese coffee in Cupertino! Came during brunch time for their soft opening and luckily it wasn't busy. During this soft opening they're also giving 20% off of your order! Interior has a clean modern aesthetic with the wooden tables and paneling, leather seats, and pendant lights! They also have indoor plants all around and what ties it in all together are the cute words/ lettering. Ordered the Ube Matcha and Ube coffee. These are both good, and can taste the ube but isn't too overpowering. Surprisingly both of these drinks were thicker in consistency compared to other ube coffees/ lattes I've had, but that's due to the Ube cream. Regardless these were yummy. Would want to come back and try their other items, especially their banh mi!

i visited during soft opening and there werent any other customers in line so i got my drinks pretty quick. the cashier was very kind and patient. the interior is modern and there were a lot of tables and seats. it looks like a nice cafe to do work in though i'm not sure if they got outlets available for usepandan coffee (6.5/10): im not a coffee connoisseur by any means but the coffee reminded me of mcdonalds coffee + pandan. i recommend it to those who are interested in trying pandan since the pandan flavor is light and not overbearing.egg matcha (6.5/10): the matcha wasnt anything life changing but it wasnt bad either. the egg was lowkey thick but it didnt really make much of a difference to the drink imo. a good variety of fun menu items id come back for!

Phin Cafe is a new Vietnamese coffee shop in Cupertino, and is a welcome addition to the coffee scene in the city. This cafe is located near Safeway and parking is easy to find. The cafe has gotten quite popular recently so there might be a wait for your order. The cafe has a calm ambiance and the staff is so nice.I tried the Pandan Matcha as well as the Pandan Coffee. Both the drinks consists of their matcha/coffee with a generous amount of strong Pandan cream on top. Out of the two, I prefer the Pandan Coffee as the coffee synergies well with the cream (also the matcha makes the drink taste a little too grassy) Both drinks are refreshing thanks to the Pandan cream's unique vanilla grassy taste. After two visits, I am already hooked in to Phin Cafe and I know that I'll be coming back soon for another boost!

"Taste it through the hole...""What?!""The hole in the coffee lid, you perv!""Oh!"Cà phê trứng (egg coffee) is best enjoyed sipping it through the hole in the lid so you can taste the creamy sweet deliciousness! Soft opening last weekend is Phin Café's third Bay Area location. They took over Subway at Orchard Farms Shopping Center. M E N UDrink series: Coffee (w/ various cream top options), matcha, milk tea, and smoothies. They also have snacks: bánh kẹp lá dứa (pandan waffle), bánh mì, xôi (sticky rice), and more. - Cream top: Salted, egg, cheese, pandan, and durian- Sweetness: Regular, less sweet, no sweet- Dairy alternative: Oat milk (no surcharge)Soft opening discount: 20% off Order ahead available on their website.D R I N K S* Pandan Matcha ($6)- Price before discount- Request less sweetCute presentation with a cookie roll but didn't hit. The pandan cream top oddly tasted like bananas in an artificial way, and the matcha was on the weaker side (culinary grade?). Off flavor aside, I've tried pandan matcha several times (at other shops) and IMO, once the two flavors blend, the drink tastes muddled. * Egg Coffee ($6)- Price before discount- Request regular sweetnessCà phê trứng has been all the rage lately and for good reason. This wasn't my drink but I did a taste test and it was eggcellent! A dessert-like coffee, a cup of robust dark brew is topped with a silky eggy foam giving tiramisu vibes. The sweetness of the foam perfectly cuts through the bitterness of the coffee. Wished they offered a decaf version for those who turn into Jessie Spano "I'm so excited..." with coffee. S E R V I C EVery friendly and warm service. Visited on day two of the soft opening so they were still figuring things out. If you're on a time crunch, def recommend ordering ahead online (at the time of my visit, it wasn't live yet). A M B I A N C ECasual cafe with 10-12 tables. Restroom requires a code (noted on your receipt). P A R K I N GLocated at the less hectic side of the plaza, parking was easy.Overall, nice to see Viet coffee shops expanding outside of the E San Jo area. If you're in need of rocket fuel in the Cupertino/West San Jo area, def hit up Phin Cafe!

A new spot in the area for a caffeine fix! Lots of space inside to do work, and the baristas are really kind. Here's what I ordered:+ Corn Coffee (5/5): I loved this one! The corn is sweet and subtle. Meanwhile, the coffee is strong and fragrant. Good quality stuff! + Banana Matcha (3/5): This might be an unpopular opinion... but I thought the banana would be sweeter and more artificial tasting. They clearly use natural real banana in this, which was just okay to me. I wish it was more like a boxed banana milk or banana pudding flavor.I also recommend their egg coffee and rose sesame matcha :)

Went on a Monday during Soft Opening. Service was A+. She went into detail about how I'd like my order without me asking, really felt like they wanted to ensure I got my order just how I'd like it. The service was very thoughtful and patient.Order: 2 Iced Milk Coffee (viet iced coffee) $6 eachCombo Banh Mi $8.5Grilled Pork Banh Mi $8.5Pandan Waffle $5.5$35 after 20% off soft opening special until next week. One of the iced coffees was lighter than the other, and the espresso tasted sour for both. Not sure if the espresso was sitting or for some other reason. The 7leaves on Wolfe makes it pretty good. The sandwiches were fine, the grilled pork is more thick cut and not the flavor we were expecting, but okay. The cold cuts combo was good, thinner cuts than I'm used to, but was fine. Waffle - not chewy as I've had it at other places, but still good, crispy. I enjoyed it, would order again.I live down the street, so I'm still excited they're here. Hopefully they get to work out all the kinks during the soft opening. I'm going to hit it up again and try their speciality drinks, give it another shot after grand opening before taking friends here when they visit me.
