Tried the egg coffee because I am always late to the hype train. Got 70% sweet and it still was very sweet. While the frothy egg whipped topping is an interesting and exotic choice, I'm not sure that it adds much depth or flavor to the coffee itself. It was okay. This thing is likely a cholesterol bomb lol I think I will stick to the regular vietnamese coffee with condensed milk.

I heard about this place when it first opened, but I was waiting for the hype to die down. I love that this place is open early!!!!! It's never too cold to get a blended boba drink and iced viet coffee. I was surprised to even find a group of individuals hanging out at 8am. This place is quick and delicious. I ordered the viet coffee with coconut and the purple drink. It's pretty good.

Cute coffee shop that opens up early in the morning! Staff are super friendly and provided great recommendations. They also explain the sweetness levels and the different types of coffee. I did not try the food and only got an egg coffee since it was early in the morning.

I been here twice now and the second time I came it was so crowded there was no seating! Must have gotten very popularDRINK: i like that they don't charge for alt milk, but each drink is going to cost you almost $7 for not that big of a size. i got a pandan drink both times but the foam took up like 30% of the cup so keep that in mind when picking a sizeSERVICE: ok, the drinks are made super fast. the wifi is on the receipt so there is people who will be there for hours doing workdid not really like the corn flavor they offer

Easy to go up to the counter to order and the person who took my order was friendly. The matcha latte was okay, more on the watery side but tasted okay still and glad they have sweetness level and milk alternative options. I ordered a pandan waffle too which also was okay and not as strong of a flavor as one I tried at a different place. The giant table in the middle is nice to sit at with a group of friends

Sad to say after one year the quality has gone down. Drinks are watered down. We ordered the Egg Coffee and the Sesame Rose Matcha. I must say I should've known that the sesame rose matcha would taste weird because it was mostly rose tasting flavor. Heavy on the rose.... sesame on the very bottom. Even after mixing it all together, all I tasted was rose with a hint of matcha but very little. For $6.90 a drink I would much rather go to Heytea or another place. Seems to me the egg Vietnamese coffee hype has gone down since last year. The pandan waffle was not even warm by the time I got it. Order said it would be done at 10:10am which was right on time. I got there 5 minutes past and waffle was not warm at all.

Thicc.Phin Cafe is a cozy little coffee shop in an otherwise nondescript plaza on Blossom Hill near Snell. It's better to turn early than late, as I found out when I came across smog check shops. After making my way to the proper location and finding plenty of parking, I went inside and found a line to order off what apparently was a kiosk. Thankfully, an employee waved me over and took my order herself. It took a bit of time to get the coffee ready, but I wasn't in a hurry.I was on the go and couldn't entertain the idea of going with their Phin Coffee, so I simply went with the regular cold Egg Coffee ($6.90). The egg cream is rich and very creamy, while the coffee layer below is as strong and fully-flavored as you expect any Vietnamese coffee to be. I'm not sure of the exact sugar adjustment since I asked for half sweet and it was rung up as less sweet, but it did taste pretty balanced to me. The small ice pebbles were also very fun to munch on when I could get them in my sip.Phin Cafe is a nice spot for strong coffee. I'd love to have one of these where I live, but I'll just have to content myself with maybe coming back tomorrow. Or later today, even.

Phin Cafe will always be my most favorite Vietnamese coffee shop. Their pandan coffee never fails to disappoint me as well as their other menu items. The staff is also very nice and there's a lot of seating in the store.

The ambiance is really nice and seems like a good place to study and wind down. For the price of the phin specialty coffee which was around 10.50, I feel like the spread was really solid. A lot of trendy Viet coffee places have similar prices with not as much so I appreciated that. It came with some pieces of sweet crispy bread and your choice of flavored cream with the drip coffee. And they definitely didn't skimp on the cream too. Overall pretty tasty for a once and I while experience
