I used to go to Pedro's as a kid but didn't have many memories of it--honestly, I didn't even realize it was still open! Since I work nearby, we came for a team lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a big menu with plenty of options, and the portions are generous. One highlight was the table-side guacamole, which was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Camarones a la Diabla, and it had the perfect amount of spice--really tasty! My only complaint is that I wish there was more rice and less beans. For dessert, we had the churros, and they were absolutely delicious. Overall, a great spot for a team meal, and I'm sure I'll be back again!

My family had such a great experience at this location. The staff were top tier from the moment we arrived and throughout our dining. Very pleasant and helpful. My mango margarita was heaven in a glass! You can taste the mango like it was just picked for my drink and just the right amountof alcohol! My aunt had a glass of sangria and said it was a lil on the strong side, but good.I was overwhelmed by the selections of food for the brunch buffet. Each one of my family enjoyed the food they chose. The place is spacious, from outside to inside and there's a second floor which I didn't go up to see. All the fireplaces were on, mariachi grp. we're wonderful. They played about 3 songs including baby shark for my niece and nephew. The mariachi grp. strolled around and played at the different tables ( sounded like several birthdays were being celebrated)Our waiter, Miguel was so attentive with everything needed, he was phenomenal! My aunt was asking my son for salt n pepper when Miguel showed up with them placing them on the table. He offered and brought over the mexican chocolate drinks, took plates away as soon as they were empty or done with, etc. And all while looking as handsome as he was lol. Couldn't help but notice that too. It's a beautiful place to dine and enjoy each others company. I'm going again with a friend for lunch, lol. I love this place. I can imagine dining outside in the spring and summer months. Thank you for a beautiful experience. My family were happy and raved about their experience, especially the service from Miguel.

We haven't been here for years. But we had a large group of people who wanted to eat Mexican in a relaxing environment. So Pedro's was suggested. The good: Live entertainment Great ambianceLots of big screens to watch football on a SundayWaiters and waitresses picked up dirty dishes right and kept a busy restaurant really cleanAverage: The food. Granted it was buffet. And reminded my cruise buffet-cafeteria quality. The price. For the food mentioned, the price per person was almost $60 for brunch. Kids a little less but still awfully high. I guess that's expected in Silicon Valley.

This place seems like a good to for large groups! Lots of company dinners seemed to be here. And we were no exception. Had a big work group come here for dinner. The food was decent. But they are really able to accommodate large groups which was the main selling point. Service was friendly but it was hard to ask for anything. It took a very long time to get water or anything else after they take your order. But it is a very large busy place. Food was ok. But they are one of the places who can accommodate large groups while still letting individuals order off the menu separately so it made life easier with a group with varying dietary restrictions.

I came here for a work dinner, it wasn't too busy. We had a pretty large group and they were able to accomodate us.We started with a few appetizers, including the fresh guacamole, which they made tableside. The tortilla chips went well with it. The waitress who made the guac was just great!I ordered a salmon ensalada, which was a pretty good portion. Flavors were good as well.I wound up splitting the churros and flan with a few coworkers. Wow, those churros are fluffy! They don't have the same crunch as typical churros I've had, but that isn't a bad thing. They were delicious all the same and the dulce de leche and leche dips they came with were great complements. The flan was nice and eggy. My work likes to have dinners here, so we will probably be back. The prices are a little steep for me, personally though.

We all recently enjoyed a big meal at Pedro's!What was great about Pedro's menu was the amount of options available, from bowls, to tacos, burritos, and more - there was something for everyone! Also, it's always much appreciated when restaurants give out chips ahead of time, which they did!I'm not the biggest fan of Mexican food, but I did really enjoy the shrimp bowl! It was a good size, made well, and tasted great! And everyone in our party enjoyed, so I do recommend!

In the Santa Clara area for business and was traveling with a colleague to waste time at a trade show instead of going out to meet customers and get some orders. Sorry, I have already digressed and usually that is much later in my reviews...It was up to me to find somewhere to eat for dinner after the agony of the very slow and unattended trade was over for the day. I used to work for a company that had their HQ in Santa Clara and we would go to Pedros quite often while in town for meetings and customer visits. So, I thought, what the heck, let's give it a go and see if it is as good as I remember. When we were walking in, the colleague who was the driver and was given the name and location by me to get us there said, "I ate here yesterday." What? I offered to go to another place, but he said he had enjoyed it last night and wanted to try something else on the menu. Well, that's a good sign. Don't you think? We checked in with the host and were guided to a table by our waitress, Dulce. Dulce recognized the colleague from the night before and that was kind of funny. We sat at our table and Dulce gave us menus and later brought water and chips and salsa while we decided what to have. The chips and salsa were very good. Thin, warm crunchy chips. Three salsas were all delicious with none of them being overly spicy. I could have used one with more spice, but I did not ask for something like that and likely could have. One of the salsas was very smokey and that one was my favorite. Try them all!The colleague had ordered the mole enchiladas the night before and he really liked them. He had a hard time doing it, but he ordered something else and as soon as Dulce walked away, he had a brief regret of not getting them again. What he ordered was the two choice combo with a chili relleno, the red sauce chicken enchilada and chose the vegetables instead of rice. For me, I was craving my memory of their sizzling mixed fajita plate with shrimp and steak, but the combo was not on the menu so I decided to ask and see if I could do that. Before our server came back to the table, I had suddenly changed my mind and went for the chili verde, one of my favorite Mexican food items. Passed on the rice and asked only for beans. Our order was taken and before we could put our napkins in our laps, the food was placed before us and the plates and food were very hot! Don't touch the plate hot. Your lips or tongue would stick to the plate hot. HOT. We waited a bit before digging in.I took a chunk of the pork from the chili verde and after blowing on it, stuffed it into my mouth. The inside of the chunk was not hot, it was molten lava! I almost had to spit it out, which would have been really cool in front of the colleague. I did the mouth open, push the lava around with the tongue so it doesn't stay in one place to burn anything, inhaling and exhaling to cool things off, before I could chew the chunk and swallow. Whew. Slow down tiger and let it cool off some more.Chili Verde - very, very good. Tasty, pork cooked perfectly, nice spice. I did not use any tortillas with it, since I just wanted to taste the chili verde. Yum. You will not be disappointed, you will love it and then you will send me a note on Yelp saying, "thank you, thank you, thank you, for telling me to get the chili verde. You are so awesome" You are welcome. The colleague liked the chili relleno and the enchilada. The highlight for him was the grilled vegetables that had a great spice and he really enjoyed them. Made me regret not giving them a try. Perhaps next time.Dulce was a great server, friendly and took good care of us while we were there. Thanks!Go. Eat Well. HAVE FUN!p.s. I completely zoned out and only took one picture of the empty part of the restaurant. It's empty because we were there for a very early dinner.

We made reservations to have dinner here after my daughter's baptism. I had called about a month ahead to set up an arrangement where we have a preset menu. When we arrived, our large table was set up in the back with lots of space for 17 of us. We had the chipotle chicken and enchiladas de res, alongside rice, beans, chips and salsa, and chicken taquitos. Our server tended to us very well as well as the busser. They made sure to check that everything was going well and clear the many plates as we finished them. For dessert we had the flan. The service, food, and ambience was impeccable. Thanks so much for making my daughter's baptism dinner a hit! Everyone loved the food!!

We have been to Pedro's a number of times over the years. My husband used to go there regularly when he worked in the area. Since we moved out of state, we now only get to eat there once annually when we attend a nearby convention.During our most recent visit, we were there with a fairly large group. One member of our party was particularly annoying. However, our server, Jay, never batted an eye and acted like that person was just as welcome as any other customer. Honestly, I could never be a server. I don't have that kind of patience! Jay was professional, efficient, and friendly despite constant multiple requests for more of this, a refill of that, etc. and delivered all of them quickly and accurately - while dealing with the nonsense that was spewing from the one fool in our midst. (And there wasn't even any alcohol involved!)Also, none of us has ever been disappointed in the quality of Pedro's food. My chile relleno was outstanding. The fresh guacamole prepared tableside was also wonderful.Thank you for always delivering consistently good food and service!
