Do not underestimate that this is a food truck. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PASTAS I HAVE EVER HAD. and it's pretty affordable!!!! I always get the pesto here and it's so good. The owner is also soooo nice. I will be very sad when this business closes since it will this year :(((. They have the menu displayed and have the same types of pastas and sauces u can choose from. But some of the pastas rotate. There is not much ambiance because it is a food truck but the food itself is magnificent.

This is my review of a DD order I did. I order the pesto spaghetti with chicken and the Mac and cheese. I had orde Mac and cheese from pasta amore before once it was a chorizo Mac and cheese it was amazing. Super creamy and it burnt my mouth from how fresh it was. The Mac and cheese I got was the opposite luke warm Mac and cheese that was noodles with Alfredo sauce on top and mozzarella mixed in. The cheese was not evenly incorporated and all I could taste was the mozzarella. Pesto spaghetti was somehow both oily and unbelievably dry. The bottom of the container was coated in oil. Did not look like the pictures at all.

Stumbled upon here from the food truck lineup at Pour Decisions. Pasta is cooked al dente, and sauces taste freshly made and are customizable. In general, I wish the pastas were saucier. There's only enough to coat the pasta. Chicken is a little dry and overseasoned with oregano/rosemary. Shrimp might be a better protein addition. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if it's near, I'll swing by if I'm craving. CREAMY MARINARA: 4/5 ($15 - Large)+ Alfredo sauce mixed with marinara was pretty good, but the alfredo was washed out a bit. Sauce wasn't as creamy as I'd like+ Wish the alfredo had more garlic SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE: 3/5 ($15 - Large)+ The bolognese (and probably the marinara alone) sauce was overpowered with strong oregano/rosemary flavors

It's so good to finally have a pasta food truck in the Bay Area, it's much needed. I found them a while ago on Yelp when I was looking for a new pasta spot to try for lunch. The pictures, reviews and they IG definitely sold me and it did not disappoint at all. I've been here a few times and each pasta dish that I've tried has been delicious. The menu is small and basically you create your own pasta, you choose the pasta, sauce and proteins you might want to add. There also some special menu items featured that you don't want to miss. They come in two sizes small or large and every pasta dish comes with garlic bread. The first visit I tried the Penne Vodka w/Chicken, this dish was great and so full of flavor. The pasta was al dente, the sauce was flavorful and the grilled chicken breast was seasoned to perfection and very moist. I love how well they season and cook the chicken for the pasta dishes. I feel like most Italian restaurants or places that serve pasta with chicken don't take the time to really season it and cook it right. However, my new favorite is actually not on the menu and was a special that was featured for a weekend and it is Creamy Garlic Penne Pasta. The creamy garlic sauce is amazing and unlike any I've ever had. It's full of pepper, fresh garlic, cream, cheese and it's very flavorful and rich. It has a nice spice to it and it paired very well with the penne pasta. I definitely want to try it with some of the other pastas as well. What I really like about this truck is since the menu is create your own pasta there are so many different variations and ways that you can mix/match sauces, mix/match proteins and have something different every time. The food here is fresh and cooked to order, the owner is very nice and personable. He will accommodate you if needed and he definitely will recommend some of his favorites or items that aren't on the menu that you can try. Great service, great food and great prices! What more can you ask for!!

Overall, this place was pretty good. The guy working is super friendly. The alfredo sauce itself was very good. Creamy, a little garlicky, flavorful. The chicken was a little burnt but otherwise it was good. The garlic bread was alright -- in the other pictures shared it looks like it was toasted and I don't think mine was. Which is fine but I would have appreciated a little toast! I would come back to try the pesto.

Friends invited us for an impromptu dinner at Pasta Amore (food truck). We arrived around 7:20pm, on a Wednesday night. The person taking our order and cooking our meal was super nice. Unfortunately, he wasn't that busy. Food came out quickly for us. He has 4 chairs set up to be able to eat bar-style.It's like a BYOB/Chipotle style but with pasta. Two sizes to choose from:$9 Small (4oz noodles, 4oz of sauce) or $15 Large (8oz noodles, 8oz of sauce).Penne Pasta with Creamy Pesto Sauce: Roasted pumpkin seeds and parsley made daily. He asked if we wanted the creamy pesto or just pesto as is? We asked, which does he recommend? He said, "creamy." So, we got the creamy version. Once our order was ready. We picked it up and dug i to it. All pasta came with a buttered toasted bread. The pasta was tasty, but noticed that it cooled down quickly. The bread was nicely buttered but a bit too toasted on one of them.Spaghetti Pasta with VODKA sauce: a creamy tomato sauce with a hint of vodka and bacon. Added shrimp ($4 extra) to my order. Pasta was perfectly cooked to al dente. The sauce was tasty, but I thought it could be creamier. Also, they can mix sauces if you order the large size. Tip: Please check their location, as he does move. Overall, pretty good food truck with good food. I wish the portions were bigger. 3.5 stars

You don't see many pasta trucks, and I love pasta. Very easy to find. The menu gives enough options but it's very simple. Pick your noodle type, sauce and if you want chicken or shrimp. We got spicy marinara spaghetti & Alfredo with chicken. We hit the smalls and it's more then enough!! We can eat and it's a very big serving for $9. They both came with a huge piece of garlic bread. We enjoyed them, and I will be back to get the non spicy version of the marinara.. it was just slightly too hot for me. Don't get me wrong it was delicious.
