There was only one other person in the restaurant when we walked in. No music played the entire visit. They had a TV displaying news which was the wars taking place overseas. Convenient location from the airport and from hotels. The BREAD WAS AMAZING! Parking is available if we took Lyft from Hotel which was .6 miles. We ordered 2 protein and it came with 2 sides. The sides were hummus and salad. The chicken was ok. The 'beef' was not beef only-it was lamb and beef together turned into a sausage which was not described prior to the order. The owner greeted us. Restrooms are under construction. They have cute seating area cubical. My mom count eat the 'beef' for obvious reasons. See photo.

Palms Mediterranean opens where an Indian eatery was. the seating infrastructure remains basically the same the past few businesses.i entered. seeing only an older gentleman at the counter. the place had no decor, no ambience still being renovated. the following dialogs ensued. not exact words, a gistme: "do you have dine in?"him: "we don't have Chinese food"me: "i mean, is there eating in?"him: "what do you want?"me: "Chicken plate"him: "do you want it to go or eat here?"me: "here"laterhim: "what do you want to drink?"me: "water"he brings cup of ice and bottle of distilled waterme: "are you charging me for this water?"him: implies yesme: "i'm not paying for bottled water"he takes it away, brings a pitcher full of water with ice cubes.me: "are you bringing me Chicken Shawarma Plate?"him: "BBQ Chicken with rice"me thinking: huh? how can the order get screwed up? didn't say anything. waited to see what happens. heard noises in kitchen before. sounds like he's prepping the order in the kitchen too. offerings: Mediterranean: primarily Iranian & Turkish (appetizers, kabobs, seafood, vegetarian, dessert), hamburger, pizza, italian, gyro, tacos, nachos, frieseats: Chicken Barreh (23) Iranian version of Kabob grilled over charcoal with meat on a skewer with a side of salad. chicken pieces previously marinated with yogurt?, spices. literally melt in one's mouth, very tender. no accompanying dip. didn't need it. chicken definitely fresh, not frozen, very juicy. *tastes vastly better than the usual Afghan chicken kebab which has a green dipping sauce. -yummy roasted tomato.-a big plateful of tasty, fluffy. fresh basmatic rice-lettuce salad with creamy white sauce, tomatos, olives, white/red onio-fresh, deliz...take outs:-menu in house slightly different from one posted online/at door. both don't state what each entrees has. i.e. some kabobs have salad. also doesn't mention Med. food is Iranian. dish name posted with no explaining. *menu needs to identify what comes with entree. -usual service protocols not utilized. could have lead to misunderstandings.-their big events are on weekends during big social gatherings with hundreds of people....weekdays are small change for them.*4.5 stars food is great. servicing/ordering awkward. glad it turned out well. more transparency needed so misunderstandings don't occur.

I was taking a class nearby at Project Heartbeat and needed something solid for my lunch break during a long day of classes and skills testing. This place recently opened and offers a huge menu - something for everyone! The employees were very welcoming and I loved the dinning area. They installed this incredible faux flower wall and it's pretty impressive and very relaxing to take in. I ordered a little bit of everything and enjoyed the chicken kabob, hummus and fresh veggies. I plan to keep this place in mind if I get to Oakland airport early and want some fresh and healthy food before traveling. Lots of safe parking and very easy to find. Thanks for the lovely lunch break!

We meet up with an old friend and the service was really good and friendly. It was next to the airport so convenient. They were open late and actually waited as we caught with an old friend. The pita was huge, both hummus' were excellent. The Baba Ghanouxh was so tasty as was the salad. Of course we had to have baklava that was not pictured, but hit the spot for that sweet tooth after dinner. We cast outside and closed the place down.

This place was fantastic!! Don't let the eco oops he location deter you! Everything's was freshly prepared, tasted authentic and flavorful. The chef came out to say hello and he clearly took pride in preparing our food. This is the perfect hole in the wall spot!

Palms catered a 60-person meeting on only a few hours notice. Food was excellent; easily accommodated our groups' various dietary restrictions. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. Owner kept me up-to-date on order status via text. Will absolutely use Palms Mediterranean again.

Worst Mediterranean food in Bay Area I would say !Don't be cheated by the TikTok review.Mandi with rice from platter, over cooked dry lamb and the worst part was the gyro wrap - with store purchased flat bread made into wrap with frozen cooked gyros from Store as well.Think twice before visiting this place !!

Food was terrible! Beef and chicken kabob in particular were bad! Burnt, dry and tasteless. Served deep fried, hard chicken pieces in the name of chicken wings. Total waste of time and effort. Message to Owner:" only good food will make your restaurant successful. Good ambience, flowers on the wall, decorations hanging from the ceiling does not matter! Improve your food!"Service was good.

Ordered chicken kabob to go - came with two sides so I had dolmas and cucumber dressing. Impressed with the side of dolmas - it seemed to be a full size order. The chicken was good, but it could have been a bit more tender - glad I had the cucumber to go with it. The hummus was creamy and the salad fresh.
