We were in town for a 3 day vball tournament. Ate all our meals from Osaka. The hot food area is very reasonably priced. Portions are large. We had a fridge in the hotel so bought poke bowls for dinner and cold bentos.Mochi donuts are delicious. Much tastier than chains around Northern CA. Consistency of the dough is more like mochi. Green tea was our favorite.Produce section has peeled and washed taro. Very happy with this find. Also picked up Japanese eggplant and purple sweet potatoes for fair prices. Not WF prices.

A quick update.I've been going here occasionally and actually pretty frequently in the past year as I have discovered the crab sando and shrimp katsu sando. I've tried all of their sandos and these are the two we always go back to. We went again recently around lunch time on a Sunday and finding parking was hard. It was a battlefield. When I used to go, it was around 1:30pm on Fridays which wasn't too bad.The crowd inside around the premade food Sunday was also quite busy. I've never had to wait for folks to be able to grab what I wanted. So quite lively inside during peak times.Multiple check out stands were open though which was nice. I always have to tell the cashier I have a rewards account as they seem to want to jump ahead to payment. I'm always midway entering my phone number before they cut me off. Oh well. They end up entering it on their end.Still a lovely market with various asian goods but with more a Japanese lean. I will always be back as long as they have their premade food items so I can get a quick lunch!

I'm in love with this place! We went on a Sat around 11 AM and luckily it wasn't as crowded. Parking can be tight since it's in a plaza where there are other restaurants around. They mainly have Asian/Japanese groceries but also kitchen appliances, makeup, hair/skin care, LOTS of hot foods. They have a variety of Japanese hot foods that you can grab and go. The price is reasonable and the quality is high. They had sushi rolls, sashimi, sushi bowls, katsu, tempura, onigiri, spam musubi, and mochi donuts. They all sit cold since it's on the fridge - I'd recommend heating it up at home. There's a mini food court on the side where you can order or sit and eat the foods that you bought from the supermarket. Overall, I would definitely be coming back!

I came grocery shopping here after lunch. Whenever I am in the area, I would come here. They have some good selection of bakeries. Previous day bakeries if there is any left are always 20% off. I see lots mochi donuts left.A good place to drop by if you are in the area. My husband likes to get sushimi here once in awhile especially if there is closing sales or discounts.

Cute Japanese market. Good variety of things. I like the ready made rolls and bowls. Pretty tasty stuff. I got an Albacore roll and Chirashi bowl. Both were fresh and chewy. And it's not terribly far from where we live. Service was nice and friendly. And inside seemed clean!Private lot in front!!

I came here on a whim around 5pm-ish and snagged items that were marked down 20%. Sashimi is excluded from this discount. Considering it was the end of the day, I was genuinely impressed by the fish quality. The marketplace also has made-to-order food for dine in or take out. The nigiri and sashimi slabs are such a bang for your buck. Perfect for when you want a quick, balanced bite or when you have time to cut sashimi. --GRAB AND GO--CHUTORO NIGIRI: 5/5 ($18.95 to ~$15) HAMACHI NIGIRI: 5/5 ($10.99 to ~$9)SALMON NIGIRI: 5/5 ($10.99 to ~$9)+ All of these melt in your mouth as expected! You get 5 pieces of nigiri for this price, which is a great value for such quality fish+ Better nigiri than some other sushi restaurants I've been toSALMON SASHIMI: 5/5 (~$11-$19)+ Such a bang for your buck! The quality is amazing for the $15 slab of salmon we chose, and it made for 2-3 servings of sashimi!--MADE TO ORDER--ICHIBAN TEN DON: 4.5/5 ($18)+ Selection had good variety, and they were all tasty! Light batter with hearty pieces of veggies and shrimp UNAGI TAMA DONBURI: 2.5/5 ($15)+ Unagi was delicious but way too overpowered by the pickled radish in the bowl. I wouldn't get this again

I was able to try sushi from this market using the Too Good to Go app - lucky me because these orders usually go very quickly! This is a relatively new Japanese market located in Warm Springs, Fremont and housed in a plaza with other Asian restaurants (including Boiling Point) and bakery (Pineapple King). It's pretty big and sells everything from boxed sushi to Japanese products such as shampoo, make-up, and even edible souvenirs. I saw my favorite brand of cookie all the way from Hokkaido, Japan - would make a great holiday gift for the office or someone who enjoys unique snacks. (Of course, since it's imported the prices reflect that.)The sushi rolls I got to try were pretty good - and you can't beat the price for the amount of food I got! I did heat them up at home to make it more of a warm, spicy roll. Pickup was easy, quick, and everything was beautifully presented. Lots of fresh seafood options on display, including sashimi, raw and prepared fish, and much more.I hope to come back here to try their deli (a friend told me the deli is better than the sushi in terms of too good to go) and other delectables!

Love coming to Osaka Marketplace! We came on Sunday around noon. It was not busy. We love getting their sushi roll and sashimi! Also they have lots of Japanese skincare which I love when I can't go to Japan for them! They also have rewards points you can get by applying it online!

This little gem in Fremont is definitely understated... they have all the usual Japanese fanfare, decent sake selection, but the star is the deli section. Large selection of assorted sushi , Onigiri w/ Salmon, unagi, tuna. Bentos with a plethora of items including Gyutan, mackerel, katsu, tempura, salmon and more! Desserts are plenty and the promo after 4pm is 20% OFF! Most items are priced moderately but the promo makes it that much better...! If you need a quick lunch to go or don't feel like cooking tonight, this is the spot to fill up! Arigato!
