Orenchi Sushi is located inside the State Street Market, and offers an omakase experience for $38 per person (at least reserve one day in advance). It includes assorted appetizers, a bite of roasted eggplant, agedashi tofu, chicken karaage, and a Chawanmushi with seaweed and flying fish roe. To top it off, you can choose between two kinds of sushi rolls or mini chirashi. Great value and very tasty!

Fish was not fresh, and the amt of fish they give is pretty sad, esp relative to the rice. Damn waste of $25+. Worst chirashi bowl I've tried. Literally took a single bite and let the chef know. I didn't ask for my money back.

We tried the omakase experience here, which was easy to book (online, 24h in advance). It was a really good value for $38 and quite tasty but be aware that it is not your typical sushi omakase flight. I would characterize it as a selection of Japanese food. Still very good! My favorite was the shishito peppers and the unagi don.

pretty disappointing as not living up to orenchi reputation. chirashi bowl without the best stuff, not special rice or tasty pieces. orenchi roll too much mayo. overall too pricey for what you get based on other similar competition of this style of takeout. had high hopes, maybe it'll get fixed.

I have had meal twice in the past month. It is amazing. Outstanding taste and look comparable to the best. I will be back often for that meal. The servers and chefs are very personable and add to the experience.

Neat store front. Reasonably priced sushi. However, the sushi rice is too watery and didn't taste like authentic sushi rice, at all. Would return to give another try in a few months.

I visited this new fast food sushi spot at the food hall and found it to be just okay. There wasn't anything particularly special about the experience. The sushi was decent, but I found it to be a bit overpriced for what you get. It's convenient if you're in a hurry and craving sushi, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

Amazing omakase meal for $38 per person! The food was beautifully presented and delicious. An incredible value anywhere but in Los Altos?! A real gem of a find.

Finally sushi restaurant run by a Japanese sushi chef is here!!! So excited to try during their soft opening and it was so good!!!! We tried Chirashi bowl, orenchi roll and shrimp tempura roll. The fish in chirashi are super fresh and the rice is perfect Orenchi and Tempura rolls are also delish! Absolutely recommended. Go before the line starting to get crazy.
