Loved my beers at this brewery, I'd rate it top 5 brewery in East Bay just based on the beer alone.Tried The Abbey, Forty-Eight Tears, Bay Shore Fog, and F**N IPA, all were so crisp, flavorful and tasty. Can't wait to come back and try more beers! I normally don't like stouts, but the Forty-Eight Tears was unique and had a vanilla/sweet after taste. The brewery seems to have many events throughout each month and they happened to have a board game meet-up on the day we went which was so awesome.

I have walked by in the past and never dropped in. I decided to visit after being impressed by their Black Lager (at Zachary's pizza), and was glad I did. Surprised too, as I soon realised that the brewer had previously been Linden Street Brewery. I'd have come sooner had I known that.I tried a 6-beer flight, my top 4 ranking being (1) The Abbey (2) New Oakland Glow Pilsener, (3) Zapatos Mexican Lager, and (4) the East Bay Nights Black Lager. The bartender was friendly and informative, she told us a lot about the beers themselves. We'll be back!Suggestions: (1) Indicate outside that this was the Linden Street Brewery, with one of the old signs? (2) Let Amtrak riders know that that there is a brewery nearby. In the unlikely event that an Amtrak train suffers a delay (:=) .

Came to this cool brewery in Jack london fee weeks ago. We were celebrating Chinese lunar new year at the plaza and we're hungry afterwards - a burger and beer is what prompted us to try this place out.The ambiance is very cool. Pets and kids are welcomed - gotta love the bay area for that.Plenty of bar seating downstairs or head upstairs for some more seating and boardgames - some cool things for the kiddos too. The beer was great, the food honestly bit of a let down. The BBQ guy who does regular pop ups for the brewery is very sweet but the food was bit too oily and heavy on the pepper and honestly too expensive. I wasn't pleased with the plastic cutlery that came with it. Some more environmentally friendly cutlery would have been appreciated or simply reusable silverware. I get that it's hard for pop ups to supply this stuff and maybe the brewery can do more in that front I don't know. Beers and overall vibes were great

We stopped by here for a rest stop and were so happy we did! Tamlin was behind the bar and she's so sweet and friendly. She gave our pup dog treats. They have a small bar when you walk in, but a large patio and lots of seating upstairs. The restrooms were really clean (always a plus for a brewery). We also were able to get some beer to go because we loved what we got so much!

Very cool outdoor area with mini-firepits and two seating areas inside. Extremely friendly staff. Food selections were fantastic. They have a couple of items that are housemade (great sliders (chicken or beef), tots that taste better than the have a right to and housemade catsup) and vendors outside whipping up some amazing and mammoth smashburgers on this day.The beers were great. Fresh. Not the over-the-top danky hoppiness but slightly lower ABV beers that pair well with food. We also walked away with some merch including a green sweatshirt that my wife and I are already fighting over.Check this place out!

Great location, out of the way and large! Street parking was easy when I came but it's also across the street from the Amtrak parking lot and close to Jack London Square but also far enough to not be in the crowds. They have a great selection in tap and in cans. The sours are full of flavor! Service was really nice and helpful! Can't wait to come back with the girls!

This place is great! Here are the things I loved.* A beer-tender who is welcoming, knows her beers, and can offer suggestions (Thanks, Maddie!)* A very nice variety of tasty brews. I particularly liked Sleeping Car Giant Porter and the Redwood. (note to self)* Fairly easy parking* A clean and spacious bathroom that smells nice* Dog friendlyAnd this is one of my favorite things that I think all brew places should offer:Not just pints... you can buy a 5 oz, 10 oz, or pint. As well as getting a taste. The 5 oz is great when starting off with that delicious porter... at 9%!Came with a friend this time, but just sold it to my beer loving husband for a future date night.

While visiting a friend, he recommended we stop here for a drink. While it's a neighborhood staple, it's not a favorite for him but he wanted to have me try it regardless. We enjoyed our time and beer here: I chose one beer Wading to Exhale New England Pale Ale. I thought it was really well done, refreshing, lemony, and bright. Based on this, I think next time if I have more time I'd enjoy coming back. It's a nice little place with seating everywhere including around the main bar and upstairs. That night there was a Magic group meeting, so it was full. They make good use of space with the brewing area, to-go beer sales, and for people drinking in. (The only part I didn't understand was being asked by staff why I was taking pictures - I take pictures everywhere I go especially breweries. It gave me an unwelcoming feeling.)

We came for a pop up, and stayed for the beer and friendly staff! Checked out Oakland United and, as someone who doesn't love beer, I super appreciated the owner suggesting a few and letting me sample before settling on one. The location has an industrial feel and is dog friendly which is always a way to win me over!

Oakland United Beerworks is one of mine and my husband's favorite brewery in the East Bay. They do great beer and have an amazing vibe, laid back none of those pretentiousness you'd get at some other breweries. Their downstairs area is small, but they have a great upstairs area and outside patio as well. We love them so much that we held our baby shower upstairs last year and would highly recommend anyone to rent out their upstairs space for events. If you join their VIP text, they send out deals on their 4 packs when they have new releases and it's a poo ways a great deal! Can't beat $12-$15 per 4 packs!
