Nunu’s Cafe

I have been coming here daily for my coffee before work for over a year and a half now. Nunu is such a gem and is the most kind gentleman who really cares about his customers. Some days he even has my order ready before I walk in because he sees my van outside (I order the same thing every day lol). He also makes my favorite breakfast sandwiches around. Coffee is excellent, food is excellent, and Nunu himself shows up to work every day to pour love into everyone's cup

Nunu's is a hidden gem in West Oakland. It's. A little cafe hidden on Mandela street with a few seats outside and inside. The prices are so reasonable and food comes out quick! Nunu is always so sweet when we walk in and serves all of his customers with a huge smile. We ordered the Egg Bacon Breakfast Sandwich and the Egg Sausage Breakfast Sandwich. Both were fantastic and very fresh. The sausage sandwich has this gorgeous green sauce that really makes the sandwich special. Pro Tip: come for lunch and get the BLT sandwich!

This place never disappoints! Had the Greek salad with chicken today. Five stars for sure!

Best tuna sandwich on this side of the bay. A gem of a place for the neighborhood. It's exactly what I want and need in a neighborhood cafe -- solid sandwiches that are fresh, great coffee and low key vibes.

Came by the first time today to work and enjoyed a cup of coffee. Loved the neighborhood feel and they were playing some good jams! Will be coming back to support this awesome spot. Thank you!

The ambiance was okay, the service was great, and the food was amazing. I only had the breakfast sandwich, and it was surprisingly much better than what a brunch-specific restaurant could have done. The best part? It was half the price of those restaurants. What a value!

I moved to West Oakland a few months ago and was surprised to find that there was only one cafe close by, but they always sold out of their food. Nunu's just opened two weeks ago and I tried them for the first time. I got a latte and an almond croissant, both were great. They have a bunch of options on their menu like pizza, sandwiches and an ube cheesecake which I'd like to try another time. Cute outdoor seating area and you can also take your drink/food and have them in the Mandela parkway island.

Great Atmosphere, Clean inside and outside. Great food and Refreshing Beverages. This Cafe has everything you could want for a nice meeting spot, a first date, any occasion! The setting is perfect. I had the Toast with Nutella and Banana And the Tropical smoothieThe toast was perfectly toasted, and the bread is thick, fluffy and chewy. Great value. Will be back.

The food here is delicious!Our (diverse) family popped in for sandwiches based on Yelp excellent reviews. Nunu was kind to all, gracious and can definitely cook! The cafe is sparse but there is some indoor seating and tables out in front. Would definitely swing by again to grab meals.There is music playing in the background - I didn't know most of the songs but it was energetically nice!Thanks Nunu!

Hey guys, don't blink or you'll miss it! Great sandwich! Had the BLTCA (BLT+Cheese+Avocado), very well done, heated, good bacon, good cheese. Definitely coming back. Dog-friendly and a great price.
