Nick The Greek

Had the chicken slouvaki bowl for dinner. The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly, rice was flavorful and it had the right amount of lettuce, tomatoe, red onion and feta cheese. I'm really writing this review and giving 5stars because the customer service was exceptional for a fast food chain. The young man behind the counter was courteous and brought our plates to the table for us. He noticed we were done eating and grabbed our empty plates and threw our garbage away for us as well. Good attentive customer service is rare these days so we appreciate the young man behind the counter. I wish I had gotten his name. 5:30pm worked the register today 2/18 if management can see this.

I love the food here! But let's be clear - crappy service cancels out the good food. Our past three times our order has been wrong. Been overcharged multiple times after clarifying over the phone. Same with our specific order. Ask for rice and don't get rice, but double charged for salad we didn't want. Cooooooool. The kids working are always stoned and ask me questions they should know. Just go to a different location.

I loved the food at their Novato location so decided to visit a location closer to home. Got almost the same items: chicken souvlaki bowl and kids plates. I was not as impressed as the last time. Rice was definitely cooked in a flavorful broth but was clumped and dry. The bottom burnt and caked up layer of rice was served as well. The chicken was unevenly cooked. Overall still pretty decent for a fast food chain.

If you're into fries, then definitely get the Greek Fries which is almost a meal in itself!Been to Nick the Greek a few times that were sometimes hit or miss, but recently I have to say the food was actually really good this time! Service is always nice here and welcoming, and the food is a bit pricey for fast food but for Greek food in general, I believe Nick the Greek is slightly cheaper than other Greek spots out here. Food quantity is large and definitely filling, beef/lamb gyro for our gyro plate + gyro wrap was fresh and delicious. The gyro wrap wasn't soggy when I ordered this as takeout and this is a big plus as the last time I had a gyro wrap, it was pretty soggy. For the plate, they even put the salad on the side to avoid it causing your dish to be soggy so that was also another plus. Love the Greek Fries with their feta cheese, onions, and choice of meat on top, on top of perfect fries.For a quick, reasonable stop for some Greek food, I have to say you can't go wrong with Nick the Greek so definitely do stop by for some great Greek food here when you can.

I must disagree with those who claim that Nick at Almaden is just like any other Nick's. Allow me to elaborate. Firstly, the people make an immense difference--particularly Thomas, who, though I'm unsure of his title, conducts himself as though he owns the establishment. His exceptional customer service and dedication to the business are greatly appreciated and a significant reason we frequent this location.Furthermore, I wholeheartedly concur with other reviewers: the food is consistently fresh, whether it's meat or vegetables. The taste is always superb, though I do prefer the fries at TKS. The space is somewhat cramped, but parking is ample.

Nick the Greek has become another San Jose institution. They make Greek food very accessible and really good. Some of my favorites that I love to order here are the chicken rice bowls, beef gyro and of course the frozen Greek yogurt! The rice bowl is loaded with so much toppings that you are getting something really substantial and really healthy with so many fresh veggies inside as well. For the gyro, it's easy to eat on the road or just relax at the table and just enjoy the pita bread loaded with so much goodness inside. And their sauces are top-notch! Packed with so much flavor and creaminess.And of course, you have to close it off with the frozen Greek yogurt. I like to tell them to put the honey and baklava on the side so that I can just scoop up everything without having too much honey overpowering the Greek yogurt. Try it and let me know if you like it, like I do. The staff here is extremely nice and it makes me keep on coming back to this location because of the impeccable service. Yay!

Consistent like other Nick the Greek's. This is modern day Greek food express. It is simple to order and easy to eat. Simple menu items and it is always a hit. You serious cannot go wrong on any given day or time you go! Get some extra mustard sauce while you're at it, or some tzatziki if you're a tzatitki person.

Bernal location is all of sudden gettin' stingy on the extra feta cheese....smallass piece of feta. Yall know you took the regular big size and cut that shyte in half and said that's "extra". "I call that getting swindled and pimped, shit;I call that getting tricked by a business, thats hella dough" to quote Macklemore song Thrift shop. Just saying...

This is our go to when we want to grab an authentic delicious gyro bite! We love love Nick the Greeks wraps. I have tried both the chicken wraps and they are both delicious. We usually get some extra sauce to go with this.. spicy one as well as the regular white sauce. Their service is quick. We usually get our order ready within 10-15 mins and have always done pick ups from here. The ambience is simple, people usually come in and order and take away a lot. There is minimal seating options. Overall the food here is awesome. I have recommended this place multiple times to my friends and we all love it and always happy to come back

You might feel skp to try this food but I'm gonna change your mind! First off the food is savory,fresh,heathy (depending on what you order) and lastly sweet when you eat one bite of this food it's like a favor explosion in ur mouth and whenever you eat it your craving more, I go once every 3 months just to get this food. Secondly the service it's pretty good! They get the food out fast and get things done thirdly the ambiance it's clean and simple. I believe I changed your mind have I not??
