I've picked up dim sum here several times as sometimes my mom has a craving for it, and we don't have time to go to a restaurant for dim sum. Once, you walk in, it will quickly bring memories of a typical dim sum store in San Francisco or Oakland Chinatown. Dingy, unorganized, but churning out decent dim sum.The service was nice. The aunties there patiently take your order.

Came here to pick up lunch on a Saturday and there was a slight line, but not too bad since they had 2 people working the counter. They look like they have a patio outside, but there are no tables & chairs in the establishment so it's definitely a grab & go kind of place. We took our food to a nearby park called Boggini Park with our picnic blanket to have the food while it's still fresh. There are tables at the park which could be the better option since the grass was a bit overgrown. I usually only get Dim Sum in SF Chinatown, but this place is pretty good. It's not quite up to par with the Chinatown shops, but good for a place in San Jose. Best items were the Har Gao (Shrimp dumplings). I really wanted to try their pan fried chive dumplings but they were out when we got there and they didn't give a time estimate as to when the next batch would be done. ~~Parking: Plenty of space because the restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall that's somewhat dead so there's ample parking. You could also eat the food in the parking lot since there's a lot of shaded spots as well. ~~Service: Good, the servers were very nice. ~~Worst Part: The sauces that they provide. I was hoping to get at least a knock off sriracha, but the packets they gave were like chili oil that wasn't spicy. ~~Tips: Bring your own sauces and napkins if you plan on enjoying the food not at home. ~~Return: Maybe.

This is our go-to place for takeout dim sum in San Jose. Most items are quite tasty, and the value and convenience can't be beat. As much as I love a sit-down dim sum restaurant, sometimes I really just want to pick some up and eat it in the comfort of my own home (and have leftovers for the next day).I get all of my usual favorites here including har gow, siu mai, baked bbq pork buns, chicken feet, sticky rice in lotus leaf, fried taro puffs, and turnip cake. They have a HUGE selection with all of the classics, and a good selection of different baked buns and some noodle dishes as well. They get really busy on the weekend with the line going out the door, but service is pretty fast unless people make large orders! Cash is preferred but they accept credit card with an extra 3% fee.

Looking for no frills dim sum take out? This is the spot for you. The interior is a bit smaller and hasn't been updated in decades. It's not the cleanest join and it's a little chaotic and loud in there but I feel like that's how you know the food is going to be good. The staff can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and English. My favorite items are the porridge, crab rangoons, and ham & corn buns.Parking: There's a big lot so it'll be easy to find space for your grab and go.Tip: You can call ahead to order bigger quantities for catering trays perfect for potlucks/parties. *Cash is preferred but they also take card with a 3% surcharge.

This is a takeout place. We went there a couple of times for dim sum. Their cha siu bao (baked and steamed) is decent, but everything else has been mediocre. Today, we went to get dim sum takeout again and tried the chicken feet, shu mai, fried shrimp balls, and sticky rice. Everything tasted off. The place is dirty and we will not be going back.

I've been coming here for years and still stop by from time to time. They have a good variety of fresh dim sum at reasonable prices. I normally get their onion bread, shu mai, and har gow. Their stir fried noodles aren't bad either! I've gotten their porridge a few times when I was sick. The workers are always pretty nice and quick with helping you. There's no seating inside so it's more of just a take out restaurant.

IMHOStill my go-to. Prices have gone up since the pandemic, but so has everyone else. I just order a little less than I used to...They prefer to be paid with cash. If you choose to use a credit card, you will be charged an additional 3% for the convenience.

Honestly a decent place to get some dumplings on the go! Came in the other day and ordered my usual which is shrimp dumplings, chives, lotus cake, and bbq pork bun. Sometimes their bbq pork bun is a hit or miss, it could be really fresh sometimes or it can be very dry and unflavorful. This is usually my go to whenever I come here, I would suggest coming in the morning where the dumplings are super fresh! The people here are very nice and they always do their best to get you in n out super quickly. Parking is very spacious since it's in the same plaza as evergreen donut and Manila market. Overall, this is a solid place to get take out for dim-sum!

Not bad but felt like there was a disproportionate amount of sticky rice and peanuts versus meat and eggs in the Lo Mao Gai (like 80 % to 20%). I did like the seasoning of the rice and meats though.
