**this is a true 3.5 stars but I have rounded up**I have tried pizza in Naples, Italy and man oh man one of the pizzas we got so much like authentic Napoli pizza! Specifically the Del Carcerato - amazing amazing amazing! I would give that pizza 5/5. It was incredibly thin, light amount of tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basil. The best part was the ricotta stuffed crust -- that was a game changer! This must be eaten immediately. Try to not order it to-go and have at home. There is something about having it fresh and a bit on the pipping hot side (esp. on a cold day/night).We got the Cappellaccio as well, but it was not my favorite despite it being a thin pizza with mozzarella, mushrooms, and basil. I was so floored by Del Carcerato, that anything else would not have had that wow factor at that moment. I would give this pizza 3/5. Price for each pizza came out to $25 including tax. To me that is pretty steep given these are personal sized pizzas, but also give its in the Mountain View area, you would need to be ready to pay those prices (I guess).Staff & Ambiance: Staff was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was more on the romantic-low-light environment. I went on a mom date with our kids so that threw a different vibe but everyone was very sweet to our excited kiddos. :)The taste of the pizza, staff, and ambiance puts this review at 4/5 but the price pulls that down to a 3.5/5.

I went here this weekend to celebrate my birthday. Super cozy, cute little pizza shop in Mountain View. The only hard part was to take pictures. The food is super delicious , freshly made, and you can't stop eating. They definitely hold the standards very high. Since I went with all girls, I'll definitely be back with my family. My kids loved the leftover pizza. It's a family business, super friendly staff.

Best Napolenta style pizza I've had in the US. Our goto spot for Italian. The dough is stretchy, holds up under wet toppings, addictively chewy. The dough has been appropriately fermented and the oven is hot. They put enough red sauce. We always get sausage and mushroom. It's juicy, salty but not too salty, and basil is punchy. Also got margherita which didn't taste plain.Pastas have good bite and sauces are well balanced. It's a smaller restaurant so expect a wait on weekends.

I know I just reviewed this gem of a restaurant but after the US election, we had to rekindle our spirits and gather at our favorite Italian restaurant. The staff are all so sweet too. This is better food than other Italian restaurants in the area that are larger and noisier with long wait lists or waiting. It is nestled in a plaza with plenty of parking. Our favorites are penne alla vodka and they do any kind of pizza well. The tomato sauce they use is so good. I am taking my friend here in a few days again haha. Just coincidence that she wants to try it so close to when I just went.Try this unassuming, humble restaurant with the best Italian food. Better than anything I've tasted in North Beach.

We walked into this cozy little spot on a Saturday night without a reservation, fully expecting a wait, but we were seated right away! We were in the mood for a quick bite, and ordered a Margherita pizza. The sauce was a bit on the runny side, but the flavors were still delicious. The crust was super thin, crisp on the outside while chewy on the inside. Our server was attentive, and the pizza came out fast (always a win when you're starving!). There was a steady stream of people coming in to grab takeout, and parking is easily available in the plaza. Overall, it's a perfect little gem for when you want something casual but delicious!

Pizzas were very wet underneath. Very disappointed. They used to be good. Pasta was ok, but too oily.

Really good pizza. We ordered delivery earlier today because we didn't have time to cook and really enjoyed it. The pizza was fresh and tasty. We will order from Napoletana Pizzeria again in the future. Overall, a great pizza place.

Amazing family establishment. One of those hidden gems that is in a surprising location but is amazing and charming. Great tasting pasta cooked to perfection.

Cozy little place where the pizzas are always so good - you can just tase the freshness of the tomato sauce and dough. Can easily eat a whole pizza by myself, probably more than 1 in fact. Calamari and caesar salad were also good, but nothing to write home about. It's all about the pizzas here.My picky 12-year old son refuses to eat any pizza that's not dominos, and even he finished his pizza lolService was slow last night but understandable given the Sat evening dinner rush. One of the servers seemed new and probably forgot that you're supposed to leave the drinks on the table when clearing dishes. My son (the one whose pizza palate is trained strictly on dominos) got thirsty while we waited 15 mins for the checkBut the servers were hustling and doing their best given that there was a line out the door. And it's overall a great little gem from just the tasty pizzas alone. And I like that my son can diversify his pizza cravings from just cheap dominos!

The napoletana pizza was good while it's warm. But the left overs were chewy. Also, we had the linguini in white sauce. No taste! I thought it was a joke. Although the pasta was cooked al dente, beyond that it's nothing to rave about. Service was fine and tucked away in this little shopping center. Parking was not an issue. Meanwhile, will keep on finding the best napoletana around.
