Decent Indian Grocery place in Fremont. Small shop comparing to other Indian places around. but got a good collection of vegetables and Indian groceries. Was there in the evening. It wasn't crowded. Checkout was smooth and easy. Friendly staffs as well. Lots of Parking was also available.

Namaste India is probably an indie, not related to Namaste Plaza which is larger and everywhere.looked at snacks. couldn't match up names of products to labels/prices on shelves. likewise with instant products. so passed. added incentive, many of the snacks fried, had high fat content. buys: kulfipop malai (ice cream bar)2.29-"milk, sugar, almond, pistachio, cardomom & natural flavors"-made in bay area, 510 area code-no calories, nutritional content listed. -"100% natural & vegetarian" whatever this means.notes:-lots of parking noonish. eateries nearby closed....

It's not store and it's dumpster. They keep old stock. I bought laddu and it's full of fungus. When I went there to return, they did not even say sorry. He said we should look at every item inside before buy it. Irresponsible guy and store. Do not GO or BUY anything here. ALL old stock.

I had a very awful experience buying Idly batter from here. Twice the Idly batter had gone bad when we opened it after we got home. One time it was on the same day. They give you a hard time in doing exchanges or returns. Their freezers need to be evaluated. When asked for an exchange they implied I had left it in the garage for days. I have been very disappointed with their return or exchange policy. They don't stand behind the products they sell! Very poor customer service! I will not be going back for Idly or Dosa batter ever!

I need to update my old review. The new management at the store is improving it well. You get everything now and fresh veggies, and the store looks clean.

New management has greatly improved this store! Quality and selection of produce and items is excellent. New items seem to be added every week. I purchased some Jackfruit from here this week and it was delicious! Will definitely continue coming here :)

Looks like the management change at the grocery store is positively received. The customer service has improved and the new owners spend more time at the store and are available to answer any questions and willing to take the feedback. Good maintenance and fresh veggies. Would definitely recommend.

We have been buying here as it was convenient. What a shame! They have a lot of rotten stuffs and stuffs that had gone bad. We bought a Pappad pack and ate the first couple of them with our child to only find it's full of mold and fungus beneath. I'm so ashamed that I bought such bad quality stuff for my family.

My husband found rat poop on the tea boxes.Why can't Indian stores learn from American grocery stores to be clean ,hygienic ,presentable, organized. It's a shame.

Really bad experience; I bought one grated coconut, they charged me for 2. They give receipt only once it is done. Funny part, I came home; checked the receipt, they charged me twice, called and manager Laxman picked up the call. He knew that he had charged twice, so this was not even honest mistake. Then he started saying come to the store, I will give the refund. I don't even live in that area. I told them to PayPal me extra charge, he refused to do that.PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS.
