Fresh and delicious home cooked food! Very excited this good quality Yemini restaurant is open. They gifted us some yummy dessert too! Very welcoming and clean. If you like no frill, delicious home cooked style food this is a must try. We left with a good amount of left overs as the portions were very generous.

The decor is nice here but the food isn't. I ordered the beef tikka kebab and the beef were overcooked to the point that it's hard to chew and the rice was on the moist side. The flavors were mediocre. If the beef weren't so tough, I may come back but for now, I doubt I will.

Delicious new restaurant! This Yemeni inspired middle eastern restaurant just opened, I ducked in and got the beef schwarma plate with hummus and it was excellent. The restaurant also has nice ambiance with pretty paintings of locations in Yemen on the walls. The service was great.

Just had a delicious lunch at Mohka Kitchen. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the were prices reasonable, and most importantly, the food was delicious. We had the Bamia with chicken, hummus, ful, tabbouleh and mutabel (eggplant dip). The chicken was tender and juicy, the bamia perfectly seasoned, and the tabbouleh had sweetness from pomegranate that complemented the herbaceous and sour elements nicely. They still need to work on a few things. There were no high chairs for my kiddo and they brought all the food, but no plates until we asked. Overall though, it was an excellent meal, and is a great addition to the neighborhood.

I was very excited to try Mohka KitchenI ordered a falafel wrap, my wife ordered the beef wrap both came with fries, take out.When I got it home there was a a couple small flat discs of falafel, a Lot of lettuce, the tahini was runny. My wife's wrap was cold, the fries were mushy.I really had hi hope, so I tried them a second time unfortunately with the same result.

So happy to have a Middle Eastern restaurant in our neighborhood. We ordered takeout and had the lamb kabob and the beef dish (ground). The lamb was yummy, perfectly cooked. Both dishes came with deliciously spiced rice, hummus, and tomato salad. The ground beef was O.K. but not particularly flavorful compared to the rest of our order. Overall, very pleased, nice staff/service, can't wait to try more dishes. (While waiting for our order, checked out the coffee shop next door (same owner). Had a chai, the pastries look great, friendly and nice service, too). Both places are a great addition to the Dimond!

I went for lunch and tried the okra stew and the eggplant dip! Both were delicious and full of olive oil goodness. The service was quick and friendly. I'd definitely like to try more dishes.

The food was excellent. I had kofta shish kabab with rice and yogurt. I enjoyed the warbat dessert and a complimentary hot tea. The portion is quite generous and the server is friendly.

I had a delicious lamb dish. Very flavorful food and good sized portions. Would recommend it!

Went to this restaurant for the first time and was very impressed. We ordered the Lamb Kebab plate, beef kefta shawarma, dolmas, pita bread and Greek Salad. The lamb kebabs came with a large serving of seasoned rice, hummus, and salad. All were delicious and reasonably priced. The lamb was marinated with an amazing savory marinade, was cooked perfectly and tender. The house made hummus was silky smooth with more sesame flavoring. The house made pita bread was soft and spongy without being too bready. Will return again! A neighborhood gem with reasonably priced, delicious Yemeni food!
