Misfit Taco

Located in San Jose not too far from downtown, the area is really nice. There's a lot of different food trucks with a large seating area. The staff were very friendly and outgoing. I really like that they had samples. The owner, Mike, was a great person to talk to while waiting for my food which was prepared very quickly.Korean fusion tacos (5/5): so delicious. The flavor was amazing. Good balance of spicy and sweet. The shells were soft and quite thick.Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Misfit Taco is an awesome food truck. The owner and staff were super welcoming and kind. They provide free samples and the food is so yummy.

Ordered the Nerd tacos which come in 3 different types of tacos of hawaiian, filipino, and korean. All 3 tacos were good but I would definitely order the hawaiian again and again. The chocolate horchata was good you can taste everything its suppose to have and I love how the cinnamon is on top of the cup. The quesadillas funky filipino was good and I love the sauce it comes on the side. Luckily there were plenty of street parking when I came around 3 on a Saturday. This truck is located at the far back the fact that it was bright green made it easy to spot.

Really amazing food. Tried the Hawaiian and vegetarians and it tastes amazing. Owner is very nice and friendly. Food quality is really good

The freaky sauce is the best!! Love the Quesadillas. Kinky Korean all the way. G reat flavor and good portion of meat.

Great place with some interesting veggie options. Tried the Hawaiian tacos , was amazing. Should try the Filipino fusion next time

I'm totally biased because I know the owner, but his food is really the bomb! I'm vegetarian and his truck is a vegetarian's dream. I can eat the Hippy Hawaiian everyday and want more. Carnivores also rave about the Hippy Hawaiian with Steak!! Follow him on Instagram and do yourself a favor and find his truck--you won't regret it!!

This place is so delicious. The quesadillas are very filling. They're huge! Highly recommend you come here! The service was amazing. Staff is super friendly!

If you're looking for a unique food experience on a Friday night, you're stopping here. The truck stands out amongst other trucks and not just because it's bright green. I showed up with some friends, ordered "The Nerd" (a great choice if you want a sample of different tacos), and was very pleasantly surprised. The tacos had generous cuts of meats, SUPER saucy (loved that), and appreciated the plating as well. The menu items are based on different cultural flavors and it was fun to see their take on each of them. My favorite's gotta be the kinky korean!

Misfit Taco has excellent Asian Fusion soft tacos! I ordered the Nerd which has 3 soft tacos--Funky Filipino, Happy Hawaiian and Kinky Korean. All three tacos have unique flavors and they were all very delicious. I also ordered the Freak which has the same soft tacos with the best quesadilla I have ever eaten! The quesadilla had flavored chicken and cheese and it came with a wonderful sauce for dipping. I'm definitely coming back.

The owners are very friendly and funny. The food was amazingly good. If you're adventurous and like trying new things, you really need to check out Misfit Taco! Is it a taco? Yes! Is it Mexican? No!!! All three kinds were differently delicious. My favorite was the Hawaiian but you have to try all 3. Follow them on instagram to know where they will be next!
