Hah I wasn't sure about this place but I went ahead and give it a shot and it turns out food here was actually pretty good. Located right inside Grand Century food section, this place offers tasty Vietnamese dishes that includes some of my favorites such as Bun Rieu (crab cake noodle soup) Hu Tieu Noodle Soup, Shrimp and Fish Cake Udon, Pork and Beef Ball Noodle Soup, and Rice combo plates. The Prices are affordable and I Love the Simple menu Items here!! I will definitely return to try other options on their Menu.

Food court food. What you see on the menu is what you pay, no additional fees.Person behind the counter is a hustler. I'm used to this type of service from older folk and wasnt expecting this shenanigans from younger folk. My mom asked about dessert and she wasnt sure about it. She left and I was stuck trying to zelle for payment. The person has the audacity to ask ME to ask my mom if she wanted the dessert. Hell no, I've never been here, I just gambled buying 2 dishes and I haven't ate it yet. I'm going to judge your food first before I decide to buy another thing from you. I respect it in the current economy but at the same time felt uncomfortable eating the entire time. This is one of those places where you need to ask for everything. There were 4 people, we bought 2 dishes because we were partially full. Had to request for extra bowls but weren't provided extra utensils automatically so I just grabbed them after we sat. No additional napkins. They take cash or zelle. Food wasnt really flavorful but had clean tasting broth. I've had Bun Rieu and Bun Mam better elsewhere. Maybe I'll try the Canh Chua or caramelized cat fish but tbh, not really excited to come back. They did have very fresh vegetables!

Absolutely delicious food tucked away in the food court of Grand Century Mall in San Jose's Little Saigon. We had two noodle soups - hu tieu go and bun mam. The Hu tieu go comes with sliced pork, meat balls, shrimp, rice or egg noodles, and broth. The bun mam comes with shrimp, fish, fish cake, eggplant, sliced banana flower, rice noodles, and broth. Both came with fresh bean sprouts and mints that you immerse into the broth to allow them to cook a bit. And make sure to ask Johnny about sauces for your food. His hand-crafted sauces enhance the flavor of the food so well. We will definitely be returning!!

First the food was delicious! I tried the bun mam (seafood, noodle soup). The broth was really flavorful. All the ingredients were good quality and tasted fresh. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food came pretty quickly and was piping hot. It's in the food court at Grand Century mall so not a fancy place, but it's pretty clean there. Convenient place for a quick, quality meal.I'll definitely be back regularly.

Excellent Vietnamese home cooked foods and reasonably priced! Loved it so much, I returned a few days later to try other selections. Highly recommend if you want quality, not salty, greasy food.

The food coming out of this place are very decent. Most are good to my taste. They have a lot of selection. From rice to soup. A good place to have lunch. Very nice family own. Good people. Makeing good home cook food. If you lucky enough to be there on the days they have pho. Don't pass it up. The bun mam is also my choice. U have to try it for yourself

My family and I have come here a few times now and this place is another gem of a spot located in the food hall of Grand Century Mall. Man this food hall has upped its game! We had the tofu filled with ground pork in the tomato based sauce (yummmmmm). By the time we got there it was almost sold out! Let's you know that dish is the . We also had the Tom Kho Tao which is a very flavorful shrimp dish which was also amazing. And finally we had the bitter melon soup which is an acquired taste but we loved it! Will definitely come back!

This is the third time we visited and this is the last time too. The food is just okay but the price is kind of pricey. And the one thing it turns us off and we won't come back is service. The owner gave us " dirty look" when we just asked her another spoon! We don't recommend for this place!

My friends and I had tried this place for the first time during Independence day weekend and I must say, their food is delicious! Good amount of ingredients and seasonings. I recommend to anyone if they're looking for delicious Vietnamese food to take home for lunch or dinner; this place is for you! Here are my faves:Braised catfish (ca kho to) Caramelized shrimp Sweet & sour catfish soup (canh chua) Bun mam (fermented fish noodle soup) Stuffed tofu with meatballs inside Will be back to this place for more good food.

I ordered combinations of 3 dishes. They served old food. I saw a lot of restaurants abandoned by customers because they served old food.Mien Tay restaurant owner: try your old food, see if you can eat it ?
