I was really craving Mexican food and found this taco truck with relatively promising reviews. It's parked along a large parking lot and there wasn't a line during off hours on the weekend. No seating, so you eat in the car, which I didn't mind. Unfortunately, I was less than impressed by the tacos and had a pretty expensive bill to show for it; it dropped me 45-50 bucks for half a meal for two people.I tried the lengua, cabeza, buche, chicharron, and pastor. Chicharron is a rare option and I did enjoy the gelatinous texture. Buche had the best flavor out of the bunch, but honestly all the other meats were just mid. Not the most tender or the most flavorful. The tortillas were bad and didn't hold up at all, completely fell apart. The onion and cilantro over top didn't taste fresh, so you were missing the sharpness in texture and taste.TLDR there's better and cheaper out there, definitely a skip.

This taco truck is parked at the NW corner of Scott Blvd & El Camino Real. What an experience today was...7 super tacos ($4.50 ea):-ASADA-CARNITAS-AL PASTOR-BARBACOA-CHORIZO CON PAPAS-LENGUA-CABEZAInconsistent across the different meats I tried. This place is known for their barbacoa, which was ok. The al pastor was my favorite. The chorizo didn't seem to include much papas, if any. Lengua was so soggy! Cabeza was flavorful.I liked that the avocado slices were ripe and fresh, but they put way too much sour cream that overpowered the meats. That's what I get for ordering tacos the Americanized way lol!The added onions were way too wet and consequently drenched my tacos in an oily mess (see photos attached to this review). It became a pile of slop that half of my tacos fell apart when attempting to pick them up and eat them. Not fun... didn't have to be this way!At $4.50 per taco, it's not a great value for the quality and amount of meat. I'll be going to El Sabroson de la Linea 2 a few blocks down, the taco quality is more reliable and they pile on the meat more generously! The crazy thing that happened today -- a woman (60s white female) parked her car and went up to other customers asking for money. A couple kindly gave her $2, and she went up to the staff to ask what she could buy for $2. I think the couple ended up just paying for her meal. She then proceeded to sample the sliced radishes in the self-serve condiments section by using the serving tongs and shoving a stack of radishes RIGHT INTO HER MOUTH. I saw her lick off the tongs as she chewed on the radishes and lost my appetite.I had already ordered and paid, and was on my way out w take-out while on the phone, but I was so stunned I threw out all my salsas and side veg after seeing that!!! This appalling customer behavior isn't the fault of the taco truck staff, but showed how easy it was to be unsanitary and someone stay out of view given where the condiments were placed on the side of the truck.Unfortunately, we had the runs after eating the tacos :( After all that, won't be returning to try the super burritos lol *shudder*

Pretty good. My boyfriend seen this food truck and says there was a line. I like that it's close by and flavorful. The burrito is huge and filling. Not bad for the price.

Yelp says closed, but they are indeed open.I've been to the Sunnyvale location for tacos, but since moving to Santa Clara, I'm super close this one now!Ordered 2 burritos:-super steak and lengua, $14 eaNo wait, and food came out pretty quickly. We were provided chips (not sure if they are included in burritos or not), but they were super stale, so might have gotten a bad batch.I'll be back here to try the tacos! Self serve salsa here.Parking in the lot is easy to find.

$14 for one very average size super burrito from a food truck. I got a carne asada super burrito for myself and a lengua super burrito for my bf, both with spicy salsa. He said the lengua was ok. The carne asada had good flavor. Both were heavy on the rice, and a little sparse with the meat. Chips and salsa were also included in my to-go bag. Not very good, but free so I won't say much about it. Got my food pretty fast though. I was the only on there at 7:30pm on a Tuesday. I asked for limes and was given two thin slices for two super burritos!

Let me start by saying that I have been a customer at this taco truck for years. I literally have the number saved in my phone. There's been a few times where my order has been wrong but normally it doesn't bother me too much, their food is good and they usually get it right so I overlook the few times they've been wrong, especially because they're a taco truck and sometimes I don't notice it's wrong until I'm home. HOWEVER, today I ordered tacos and they usually don't give many limes--no matter how many tacos you order. Over the phone I asked for extra because I knew that. Idk if they charge for them or not but that's why I mentioned it on the phone, so if they do, they can add it to my bill. Anyways, my husband picks up my order and I'm in the car & brings it back to me. I only have one lime, I tell him to ask them for the lime. I can tell from my car that the girl who usually takes orders is going back and forth with my husband. So I get off the car to clear it up. She immediately starts talking about how "I don't need to be coming to her with attitude" like GIRL you don't even know what attitude is but now I'm pissed all bc you wanna give a hard time over a LIME SLICE, when yall were the ones who forgot. First of all idc if you wrote down my order right or not, I still only have one lime on my plate. Apparently she told my husband that she put it in my plate, which very obviously she did not and when I talked to her she said she didn't make the plate! She was soooo rude.

WAY Over priced. Tacos seem smaller than usual, kind of mediocrely flavored. My bf loves the chicken super burrito but not the prices, he says these burritos aren't mostly rice like other places. My mom had 3 asada tacos, those were small and she was unimpressed with the flavor. I had a chicken super burrito, the refried beans were dry, nothing impressive. We had all of the above plus 3 drinks for $50, no way Jose! Not coming back there again.

The standard truism when picking an unknown restaurant is to go to the one with the longest line. There's always a line at this food truck. Only had burritos but they're pretty good. Get there early because the barbacoa sells out.

There arent too many Mexican food in Santa Clara and Mexcal is my favorite. I usually get the burritos, sopes or the quesadillas. Hand made tortillas really make a difference for the quesadillas. Soft, tasty and fresh. I highly recommend. Tip: call in advance.
