This business is now known as Mercadito El Batan. And they make killer pupusas. The pupusas are made on the grill outside and foil wrapped to keep the heat in to bring them home and eat. There are other things as well that they make too. There is a menu next to the door that talks about the kind you can get and there are other things on the menu, I cannot make out what it says. Not fluent in Espanol. I did see lots of styles of Mexican Sodas on the menu as well. If you want to eat your food there, there is limited seating. Indoor seating. One odd thing, I paid with my card and asked for a E receipt. The business comes up as Romero's Pupusas so I don't know if they have anything to do with the main store or not but this little place to eat needs to be recognized more and properly put on maps online and perhaps Yelp!

El Ranchito is a small sized mexican grocery without any prepped food for sale. there is a small meat counter in the corner. looks like the standard staples are in the house. didn't really check prices.buys: elote(corn, 5/$1)-large sized yellow ones, turned out very sweet.notes:-store clean,-aisles not cramped with merchandise-family biz? friendly service.-parking lot congested, decrepit.

I went in yesterday, for the first time, and was very confused.. All of the produce was rotting or looked old, there was no meat at all in the displays, the aisles were barely stocked and all of the juice/soda refrigerators were empty and off. It was so bizarre that the store was open in such a decaying/empty state. Maybe they're going out of business?

My coworker & I ventured out at lunch today to look for this hole-in-the-wall place...a hole in the wall with de-lish-ous food. Lunch on a Friday and the place was decent. Its actually a grocery store, they do have just the basics and that is fine. I will definitely be returning to try the other items on the menu.
