It's a great addition to the Hayward and the east bay community! I love this local all halal shop near our home. Whenever we need quality meat and hard to find cuts, this spot is IT. We came here when they first opened and the owner was super friendly, talking to us and asking us questions. They also had little bags of their family owned organic basmati rice to give out as samples. We loved the rice too!We came here a few times already and got different kind of meat from chicken to beef. We love how the cows were just slaughtered the day before, so I know they haven't been sitting around for days. It's also a clean spot and I can tell they upkeep their hygiene. The prices are reasonable for the quality you're getting. You can definitely taste the quality after cooking them. I highly recommend checking it out!

I can't say enough good things about Mayer's Meat Market! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to help with any questions I had. The selection of meats is top-notch--everything is fresh, and the quality is truly unmatched. They have a great variety of cuts, from everyday staples to specialty items that are perfect for grilling or special occasions.I picked up some lamb & beef and they were absolutely perfect--tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection on the grill. The butchers really know their craft and are always ready to offer cooking tips or even cut meat to order, which is a huge plus.The shop is clean, well-organized, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you get. It's clear that this is a place that values both its products and its customers. I'll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for premium meats and excellent service.

Usually we have to order directly from Creekstone farms when we cook steaks( 4-7 days delivery) but now that this halal butcher shop carries it makes it so much easier and accessible to get Creekstone high quality meat. The store is really presentable with a beautiful showcase of the meat. I went in and decided to try mayar skirt steak, Mayar ground beef (for burgers), and lastly the creekstone New York strip. After cooking tacos, burgers, and making steaks I was absolutely shocked at the quality and taste. This place easily carries the highly quality meat of any halal meat market I've ever been too. Great service too if you're confused about cuts.

We happened to drop into Mayra's meat market and were surprised to see the variety of meat. The store was super clean and the service staff were friendly, informative and very quick. The selection of meat was great from lamb, goat, different cuts of beef and chicken. Price was also great!

Visited Mayar's market for the first time to purchase some goat meat. They have beef, lamb, chicken and goat. Everyone that works here are just lovely folks. They were very helpful and easy to talk to. This was my first time going to a meat market so I was a little nervous but they all made me feel so at ease. Meat was fresh and had no gamey smell to it and when cooked was very tender and delicious. I am definitely returning back to them for all my future meat supplies. Just saw their ad for dry aged beef and looking forward to purchasing some once it's available.

I'm ecstatic to have found this halal butcher shop. It offers a huge selection of high-quality halal meats I never thought I'd find--ribs, ribeye, filet mignon, and even deli favorites like turkey, roast beef, and pastrami. The store is impeccably clean, they have great customer service, the prices are reasonable, and the variety far surpasses any other halal butcher I've visited. This will definitely be my go-to spot for premium halal meats from now on. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for more than just the usual cuts you find elsewhere
