Located in a popular Vietnamese strip mall, it has your standard Asian veggies. I actually found the prices to be cheaper than around San Mateo and quality wasn't bad. One thing that I was surprised they didn't have was an assortment of dumplings and wonton.Overall, I would say cleanliness is between Marina & 99 Ranch with the quality of the produce closer to the latter.

This review is for the customer service and the fact that they had the one coveted item I was looking for - the little sheep Mongolian hot pot! I like that veggies like the crown daisy and lettuce are wrapped individually, and during covid times, it's that extra layer of protection that can ease our minds. I shared a picture of this little sheep Mongolian hot pot soup base to one of the employees and three of them helped me! They even guided me on where to find it cause I was having trouble. That is superb customer service at your local Asian grocery store, if you ask me! I wouldn't go here for fresh sliced meats - definitely still go to H mart or another Korean store for that if you're having a Korean BBQ / shabu night. That being said, they do have fish balls with shrimp in them! That is not even available at h mart. They also have a decent collection from fresh noodles which I like to use for homemade garlic noodles.

Not clean like Safeway. But they have whole Hamachi and Bigeye tuna. Never seen this before. Always had to go to IMP foods for these 2 fish!!!Stunning there is enough demand for this in ESJ. Seafood market selection is better than any other Asian market I have seen in Bay area.

They cheated a lot. I bought a live crab from the tank and they picked it up, then swapped with the almost dead one from the bucket at the bottom bucket inside. I spotted it at the cash register because the crab barely moved and made them give me a new one. The second time, same thing happened. The crab I picked was strong alive one. When I got home, the crab had only 1 claw. The missing claw mark was old like someone chopped it with a sharp knife long ago and it's been healed. I came back and yelled at their shady business practice again. Don't buy any live crab, fish or lobsters at this market or you will receive an almost dead one which should cost a half price. I'm done with this market.

Really enjoyed exploring and spending time looking around since they have very different Asian grocery items. Fresh fruits and vegetables in the back. Very reasonable prices. Friend got soft tofu for dessert and said it was good. Got this mix rice panda snack, black Gr jelly, tangerine 1.29 lb, and goldrn kiwi .99 each.

Today's fishes were terrible. Look at how cleaned and cut my Mackerel were done. I would not come back for a while. Look at your fishes before you leave the store.

Very bad customer service they need to replace manager there. The cashiers charged for wrong price I complained she called the manager and the manager lady told me that why don't you check the price first she didn't even say sorry to me that they scanned for the wrong price. Hope the management do something.

The Guy working here yelled me and want go out right way at 8:45pm He said no more timeWhat the fuck while the store open 9Am to 9pm At 8:30 but everything they cover and no shipping cart They really to go home lol

I'd give it 0 stars if I could, worst customer service I've ever experienced shopping at a grocery store. Only bought 1 box of tempura, tried paying with a $10 bill and got accused of counterfeiting by the cashier. The lazy manager in front did not try to help the situation either he just sat there and watched from the comfort of his own chair. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!!

I came in at 8:50PM. 10 whole minutes before closing. a Thai or Vietnam check out lady gave me super bad attitudes and the entire store seemed to want me out asap. they barely spoke English and nobody was willing to help me find something besides a nice Chinese lady who appeared to be manager. she did wanna rush me out by helping me find anything I want. When I checked out at 8:55PM, the check out lady with heavy eyebrows (not sure Thai or Vietnamese but the point is not about where she's front) gave me rly bad treatment. She threw my items down the checkout lane like they are garbage. And she slammed my receipt at me. lmao. Owner should consider the employee training or upper the pay. I bet they hired non English speakers at minimum or less wage.
