We decided to meet at the spot for dinner with some friends. It's located in the shopping center so there may not be parking right in front, but there is plenty of parking around. It was pretty busy for Friday night, so I'm glad I had reservations. We were greeted and sat rather promptly. We started with appetizers. We had the sweet and spicy calamari and they tasted amazing. Our server recommended the poke nachos and I highly recommend if you can eat raw fish and like a little spice. They have slices of jalapeños which added to another layer of flavor. For dinner, I ordered the chicken piccata. I expected it to be creamy so it wasn't to the best of my liking but still good. The rice was abundant, but a bit dry for me. I had a taste of the salmon and it was perfect. It was moist and flavorful. I complemented my meal with a glass of Chardonnay, which was a perfect pairing. I can't forget about the complementary bread. It was warm and soft. Our server was nice and checked up on us periodically. It's a nice spot for a casual dinner with friends.

We've been eating here for years, and let me tell ya... I still prefer MB place over Red Lobster! I most likely have written a review for this particular location so I'll keep this short and more of an extension to my original review. With that being said, here's the reason for the updated review: THE SERVICE. Note the date: Thursday, November 21st... my wife and I had a very bad day at our respected jobs. It was stressful, frustrating and we both just felt overwhelmed. I suggested we go to market broiler and met there. I wish I remembered the name of server that served us because she turned that rough day at work into a wonderful dinner that included 2 delicious entrees, 2 adult beverages and dessert! How did the service stand out? It's the simple things that go a long way; she was responsive, the wait for our dishes did not take long considering how busy it was and she was simply genuinely kind. She didn't know what we were going through but gave us a wonderful dinner date that ended on a happy note.

If you want seafood, this place is a relatively safe option. Been here multiple times.I once went with my mom and she was craving linquini with clams. Despite no longer having that on the menu anymore, they made an exception and made it for her.Ate here with a friend, and he really enjoyed their crunchy poke tacos.Their variety of options like fish and chips, grilled fishes with meat, or pasta dishes are generally safe options.I wouldn't call it the best seafood ever, but it's served as decent benchmark (for me) to compare other seafood restaurants.

Market Broiler in Fremont is a solid choice for a casual dining experience. The service was incredibly pleasant and timely, making for a smooth and enjoyable meal. The restaurant has a bit of an outdated design, but it's still comfortable and gives off a welcoming vibe. The menu selection is great, offering a nice variety of options that cater to different tastes. I was particularly impressed by the large seafood portion sizes of the entrees - you definitely get your money's worth here. Overall, it's a great spot for a satisfying meal, with friendly service and plenty of options to choose from!

My first time here! There's a big selection of food and daily specials. We did the taco Tuesday daily special, so it was worth it. The tacos were pretty big and fulfilling. Liked the sauce. 4/5Clam chowder: pretty good for something you can get outside of the pier 4/5Sweet and spicy calamari: this was big portion sized and flavorful 5/5Overall good service and good food. It come back if I'm craving seafood.

Market Broiler is a must go place!I highly recommend the fried calamari (plain or sweet and spicy are both good) and the poke nachos. The rest of their entrees don't disappoint either. The most recent time, I tried their Salmon Oscar and the quality of the filled and the sauce that complemented were fantastic. The servers are nice and friendly and great at dealing with a busy restaurant.

This is our first time visiting Market Broiler and it was extremely lively even on a Tuesday evening. Our server was so patient and sweet that she made the entire experience better. Unfortunately, we didn't really enjoy the food, but it may have just been what we ordered. Fisherman's stew (2/5) - the linguine was good, but all the seafood was extremely dry and overcooked. The shrimp and lobster were both extremely tough and dry and the mussels tasted like they were old. Charbroiled oysters (2/5) - unfortunately, these just had a burnt taste and the oysters were extremely fishy Poke nachos (5/5) - these were delicious! Definitely a must-get and the highlight of our meal. Sourdough (5/5) - if I could just come here to eat the sourdough exclusively, I would. It's just a tad crispy on the outside (not hard) and warm and soft on the inside. We ended up getting seconds and finished it. I think we may have just gotten items that didn't suit us. I am interested in coming back to try the ribeye (which I saw great reviews for!) and their sea bass. Note that they do have a 3% credit card processing fee.

Market Broiler used to be a treat my family and I would dine at every weekend. Upon entering, the place seemed clean, seating was quick, and service was friendly. Every table was served sourdough bread, which felt a little old considering it was tough to chew. Didn't dive in to it too much with it since we ordered other dishes as well Poke nachos are a hit! They were very refreshing and delicious. The chips were crispy and the fish tasted fresh. I got a creative combo for $33 (Steak was an extra $3) along with the Alaskan Salmon, cheesy potatoes, and coleslaw. Disappointed to say the least. For the $33 plate, the portioning was extremely small. I remember coming back here years ago and it had bigger portioning of the proteins. Steak had a perfect medium rare cook and it was tender but that was honestly the only highlight. Salmon was bland and dry, the lemon and tar tar sauce helped somewhat. The cheesy potatoes were also a bit bland, and the coleslaw tasted bitter and sour. Gross. Definitely not purchasing againThe lobster roll was decent but for $24, super small portioning. Could finish it in 4 bites. The fries were seasoned nicely though and the aioli sauce was good but that's really about it.Market Broiler has definitely changed over time in terms of pricing and quality. A bit disappointing, might as well go to Fisherman's Wharf

Food was amazing, managerial staff was impeccable....Our server, Katherine, by far the best server I've had in years, helped box up our items, and assisted with my niece, who was sick. Made a birthday for my wife worth celebrating. Tip your servers well, and when they go beyond the call of what's expected, do even more than expected
