Maria was great to work with! Super communicative and helpful! I would definitely recommend her and use her again. I've had some wedding cakes in my time and this was by far the best cake I've ever had. We had vanilla, red velvet and chocolate tiers and each one was delicious and moist! Too many times I've noticed tier cakes are dry and tasteless, but not Maria's cakes! So delicious! She also did an amazing job decorating the cake with the flowers the decorator provided, it was beautifully put together! Looked beautiful! Thanks again Maria!

I had a mixed experience with my recent cake order. On the positive side, Maria was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive, timely in her communication, and demonstrated a strong work ethic. I appreciated her efforts to streamline the process and make it as easy as possible for me.However, there were several issues that impacted my overall satisfaction. Initially, I wanted a two-tier cake, but I found the pricing structure somewhat confusing. The difference between a two-tier and three-tier cake was only about $50, which made the decision-making process unclear.Additionally, I was disappointed to learn that each tier of the cake is limited to a maximum height of 5 inches. If you're looking for taller tiers, this might not be the right option for you.The pickup location was another point of frustration. While the default pickup location is in Fremont, I was informed that weekend pickups are in San Ramon. Unfortunately, my delivery person was not willing to drive to San Ramon on the day of the event, and while Maria offered a drop-off service to San Jose for an additional $50, this was an unexpected inconvenience and added cost.The total price for the cake was $550, and I gave Maria artistic freedom to combine two inspiration photos I provided. While I can see the effort and creativity that went into the piping and design, the cake itself fell short in terms of flavor. It was surprisingly dry and overly sweet, which may not suit East or Southeast Asian tastes. The strawberry cheesecake flavor was enjoyable for a bite or two, but the overwhelming sweetness and lack of pronounced strawberry flavor made it hard to fully enjoy.I truly hope Maria's business continues to grow, as her dedication and artistry are evident. However, for the price and overall experience, I was left feeling slightly disappointed.

I recommend Maria's cakes to anyone out there looking for the perfect cake for their wedding. Maria was super responsive, kind, punctual, and the cake was absolutely gorgeous. Check out our picture! We had couple of changes along the way but Maria was super cooperative and responsive and made it less stressful for us. They also arrived earlier to make sure our cake was delivered on time. Our guests also loved it and it was delicious! Really appreciate every detail Maria had and everyone should get cakes from her!

Maria was super helpful, super understanding and welcoming as she was very detailed oriented to the custom cake we were looking for. She was willing to work with us on the creative design and went above and beyond to add aesthetics to our cake that we loved and all our guest loved as well at our baby shower. We highly recommend her to all our friends and family and will be doing business with her more in the future!

Maria is amazing! She actually made the cake for my brother's engagement in 2020 and we all loved it! It was a cake for 150 people and we had chosen strawberry delight. Fast forward December 2022, I decided to reach out to her to make my engagement cake and once again, she did an exceptional job bringing our vision to life and the flavor once again was strawberry delight and it was so delicious! If you ever need someone to make a cake for any occasion, do yourself a favor and look no further! Maria is the perfect person and she will make your dreams a reality!! Along with that she is very responsive via text and is there for all your needs!

I've been lagging on writing this.. BUT! Maria made my wedding cake and it came out amazing and super flavorful. Let's just say the cake DISAPPEARED! Definitely recommend on going to her! I know for sure I'm coming back! DELICIOUS!!

Maria was so professional and responsive, and went above and beyond for our vision. I recently got married and decided to book with Maria for our wedding cake. She did not disappoint! When first contacting Maria, she was very quick to respond and did a great job at communicating throughout the whole process which made me feel very reassured in a high stress time. She was very helpful when going through the process of choosing our flavors and providing different options for designs/structure of the cake. Fast forward to the week of the weeding, she confirmed our details so everything went smooth the day of the wedding.When we saw the cake the day of the wedding, it was stunning! The cake looked better than we could have imagined, and once it was time to eat, it tasted just as good as it looked! We loved it, and the guests loved it! We would highly recommend Maria's Dream Cakes!

Maria made our 25th wedding anniversary wedding cake. She did an amazing job it was not only stunning but also absolutely delicious.

Maria provided a cake for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was stunning! So beautiful. The picture doesn't do it justice. She was great to work with. Easy communication and reliable. It couldn't have been more simple. I gave her some pictures of things I like, one thing from one cake, another thing from another cake, and she was able to combine into one beautiful cake. To top it off, it was delicious. Honestly, most wedding cakes aren't that great tasting, so I wasn't expecting much. But oh my gosh, it was so good and we got so many compliments on the cake and the taste. I'm not generally a big fan of the taste of fondant. Not sure what she does, but it was good and very smooth, not hard like I've had with some cakes. I would highly recommend her.
