Came here today Tuesday, 1 pm for enchiladas. We had to ask to get a table, but were seated immediately. The plate comes with rice.beans, mini salad, choice of chicken or pork, red or green sauce. I opted for red sauce. $18.99The beans were good: both creamy and light. The rice was good as well. The mini sliced salad looked refrigerated a few days and wet. It tasted that way. The enchiladas were very good, yummy red sauce. Also ordered a side of guacamole and some pico de gallo; it was mixed fresh avo and canned guac. The pico de gallo looked like the salad: been in the refrigerator a few days. And tasted that way.My friend had the Super Nachos, $14.99 comes with a huge amount of carnitas, chips and salsa. My friend said it was excellent. Our waters went dry and we had to ask for water.Decor: homey; sit near the sun drenched front door.Music: I like Mexican music cranked up loud.Bathrooms: ok

Both my friend and I went in on Sunday afternoon. Dine in and we only ordered 2 pieces of grilled chicken accompanied by avocado nothing else. 2 coffees served by the waiter Martha. Which she was very unpleasant never came back to check on us nor did she looked happy. My friend try to joke with her and she was too serious. The atmosphere was horrible too many men Drinking very heavy no security on board and they all were drunk talking loud with improper bad language very degrading behavior. The waiter try to charge us $46.99 and I disputed charges. She then charge for the tiny order $25,86. Very unhappy customers walk out the door. I would definitely not recommend this place for family gatherings with children. They need to work on security measures and fair pricing please honor your menu pricing and your website prices. Not a good experience overall. If I could they do not deserve not even one star . They are zero !

Came in for weekday lunch and greeted immediately. Was welcome to sit anywhere we liked. We tried the molcajete and caldo de mariscos. The molcajete was loaded with steak, shrimp, chicken, cactus, peppers and cheese. It was sizzling hot. It served with rice, beans and guacamole. The caldo de mariscos had shrimp and fish and served with homemade tortillas. The dining room on the right has counter seating and the dining room is the right has a taqueria/ cafe feel.

This is hands down the best Mexican food I've experienced in the Bay Area! I tried the molcajete for the first time, and the portion was enormous--enough to satisfy two hungry people. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the staff were friendly as well. I'll definitely return to sample their margaritas and fajitas next time.

One of my favorite neighborhood spots ! Surprised more people don't come. Been going here over the years (previously called Linda's) but ever since new owners took over, the food is soooo much better. My family goes at least every other week. Great food, great Micheladas & great staff !

Excellent authentic Mexican food! Our friend group was starving after a hockey game and since the other place we wanted to go was swamped we went here. What a find! There was a mariachi band playing, and the atmosphere was very chill but also fun. Prices weren't too bad at all. I got a horchata and fajitas and it was so feeling! They bring our salsas so you can make it as spicy as you want. Staff was nice and took care of our big group. Would highly recommend this little gem.

Quick review:Parking located to the rear of the restaurant not on the street. The restaurant is pretty clean. Restaurant music is super loud, difficult to hear people on the same table talking to you.We ordered a super carne asada burrito and chicken green wet burrito. When I received the order, the burritos were bigger than usual. Both burritos had a horrible tasting cheese inside them making the burrito inedible. We scraped off the cheese that was on top of the wet burrito and I opened the other burrito to remove the cheese. Opening my super burrito revealed the burrito was not as big as it looked. It didn't have much filling.I asked the cashier/server what kind of cheese they use and she said it was mozzarella. It tasted really bad and spoiled. It could be that type of mozzarella. After being disgusted with the cheese, the burrito no longer tasted good because of how oily or maybe greasy the inside of the burrito was. Order no cheese and you'll have a decent burrito if you don't mind it being a oily/greasy. The wet burrito was really good.Salsa, chips, and hot sauces were good.3 stars because of the cleanliness, decent taste of everything else than the cheese.

By far the greatest restaurant to come and eat anything you choose is freshly made and the alcohol drinks are perfect. The shrimp are double the size. Love this place left with a happy stomach. Thank you definitely recommend to friends and family

I went to Mar y Sol for the first time today. I can't believe I haven't been to this place yet. It is only 5 minutes from where I live! I ordered the camerones a la diabla and they were AMAZING!!! Huge shrimp, great portion. Great value!! The sauce was spicy and the salsas are yummy too! Highly Recommend!!! Can't wait to try more dishes.
