Maneki Sushi

Great place, great food and great service! A Japanese restaurant gem! I am glad I found it.

Hard to judge a place but the front door says it all as you walk in. Food is okay hut the place needs love and you be the judge on your visit. :) this will explain better.

It was definitely better before. I had tried this place twice. The green tea fragrance is still good as before. This time I ordered lunch combo and seafoood udon for mom. The soup of the udon and miso soup were very salty. The combo was good. I was too hungry to take pics and didn't want to take leftover. Sashimi wasn't fresh but ok. Udon wasn't attract my attention since it showed up plain look. The server was very nice and attentive. It was a quiet place for quick lunch.

It was good. Nothing bad but also nothing special. Good service and good prices. Very basic menu which I like, not overwhelming like some Japanese places can be.

I'm a bento box girl and the bento boxes here are GENEROUS.I used DoorDash to order for pick up on a Sunday evening. Quick and easy process: ordered on my phone and it was ready in the 15-20 min it took for me to drive here.I went with the chicken teriyaki + tempura + gyoza for $15. Maybe it looked extra generous because it was takeout and therefore given in 3 separate boxes. Still, it felt like a lot of food. Lots of chicken, big scoop of rice, and a salad in one box. 6 pcs tempura (4 veggie, 2 shrimp) in the next. And 3 pcs gyoza in the last box. Flavor wise, it was prob as good as any other sushi spot. I've had better crispier tempura at other places. The gyoza filling was tasty, though I'll say the sauce it came with didn't add much. Overall, though, still a good meal.

No but literally they have the absolutely best hands down salmon skin hand roll I have ever had. My cousin has been going here for the past 20 years practically every Wednesday for date night and I just joined them yesterday. It was insanely delicious sushi! I had such a lovely time and amazing food. Good luck to the waitress that is moving on to be an accountant!

My sister-in-law brought some dinner for us on a Sunday night.So she ordered the following:Tempura shrimp that has some crumbled and flaky bits on the outside, It is so crispy and cooked with fresh shrimp on the inside. So good! Dipped with tempura sauce! Yummy!Oyakodon - Katsu, scrambled eggs on rice with some donburi sauce served in a bowl.Chicken teriyaki bento box that comes with steamed rice, 3 gyoza, California roll and some fresh orange slices. A very typical bento box that packs a lot of delicious morsels. 5/5.Rainbow roll a sushi packed with california roll, avocado,eel topeed with avocado, nori, a fresh sushi-grade fish like tuna, salmon, grilled eel and hamachi. It's huge and great to share! It was freshly made and quite good. 4/5.I only ate a little bit because I had to eat some leftovers from lunch today.Maneki is the another place to go for Japanese.

The food was subpar (my baked roll was very sweet and the sashimi seemed not super fresh) and the service was okay. It was hard to know if the waiter was going to bring us a straw, fork, etc because there wasn't much of an acknowledgment of us asking. The restaurant itself is outdated and a little sticky. I noticed it seemed there's only one sushi chef and one waiter for the place and it's a small place but two waiters would've helped with getting everyone what they needed.

The speed and service here is always good. But the last two times, the spicy tuna roll has been bad, while other roll was good. I hope they can turn this around, because I love this place.

Small but good place to enjoy sushi. Priced nicely and convenient. Staff is friendly and the service very quick.
