Found myself in the East Bay late last month and was wondering if there was any decent Chinese restaurants. There was.As usual, my buddy and I were starving so we went all in: potstickers, chicken with sting beans, spicy pork w/ garlic sauce, bbq pork chow main....of course, beer.Everything was good and now I know a spot in Dublin. Service was also good. Also, the portions are big and we ended up boxing the leftovers. That is also good.Okay, now for your viewing pleasure.

I like this place a lot. Super nice people run this place. They'll advise you on orders and wrap up the leftovers for you. The food is authentic and the portions are gigantic. The interior is a bit cramped but I've never had a problem with it.

First of all, this place is not authentic Chinese food. It is heavily Americanized Chinese food that definitely is heavy on the sodium. Setting that expectation off the bat, Mandarin Delight was indeed a delight to dine at. We arrived around 6pm on a Sat, and the place was pretty empty and still had quite a few available tables to sit at. The restaurant itself is not that big, especially with the kitchen located on the dining floor and taking up a 3rd of the floorplan. But as we started eating, we noticed this place filled up really quickly by the time we were done. The staff here is friendly enough, and do a great job of clearing out plates and getting you your check when ready. The food prices here are very reasonable, and the portion sizes quite large. Despite the lack of authenticity, we could definitely understand the appeal given the price, freshness of ingredients, and large dish sizes.

Went here on Lunar New Year and they were busy, mainly with pick-up orders. I was able to get a table right away. There was only one server helping out all the customers. I think they're short staffed but they hustled and were attentive. I ordered the green beans, chicken chow mein, sesame chicken and chicken fried rice. There's so much meat in the sesame chicken!!!! I saw in an old review that they used so much breading in their sesame chicken, not today! It was all meat. Food was great!

Mandarin Delight is where China Paradise was. Same menu, similiar seating, same owner-just 1 now. Self seating now i was informed. Minimal decor.Offerings: lunch specials, rice, noodles, seafood, vegetable, egg fu yung, pork, poultry, beef, shrimp, appetizers, family dinners. Americanized Chinese food with Chinese classics on black board.Bites: kung pao chicken lunch special with 1/2 rice, 1/2 chow mein, soup.-freshly fried won ton square with sweet & sour sauce-crunchylicious Americanized crispy-steam rice: nicely firm to soak up sauces-chow mein: thick round noodles ala udon/shanghai noods. Stirred fried with slight " wok hei".-kao pao chicken had slight heat/chiliness, noticeable sweet glaze not my fav. Tender, juicy, stirred fried chicken pieces, green onions, bell peppers , chilis, bamboo shoots yum savoriness.Slurps: hot & sour cup-legitly Chinese. Hotness from ground black pepper. Sour via tart vinegar. Thick broth via corn starch. Flavas from tofu, egg flowers, green onions. ..4.5 stars prompt, courteous service. Worthy! No msg tasted. Authentic eats.

Cute restaurant with lunch specials for lunch. I came in with a friend and we got the food pretty fast. The lunch special came with hot and sour soup which was delicious. We came around 11:30am, by the time we were leaving, the place was packed. Found another quick Chinese food place to go eat. The service was great. The waiter and waitress were all very attentive. I would come back.

I came here around 12:30 pm on Christmas Day, it was nice that this restaurant was open and it got quite busy during lunch time by around 1 or 1:30 pm. The inside is simple but nice enough for a casual meal. My husband and I ordered lunch specials - princess chicken and orange chicken. They came with a serving of hot and sour soup which was nice, the "appetizer" is the wonton crisp pictured in the photos. We also placed an order of green beans with garlic. The portion sizes were generous and the flavors were really good, particularly with the princess chicken and green beans. My cons were that the green beans seemed a bit overcooked so they didn't have the nice crisp feel and my orange chicken was a bit on the bland side - it tasted very healthy which isn't what I was going for when coming here overall I would come back to try this place one more time but unsure if I'd choose this spot over my usual go-to for this type of food.

We stopped in for a late lunch. After a warm welcome, we were given our choice of seats. The dining area is clean and open with a view to the kitchen. Our food came out hot and quick. Lunch started with a bowl of hot and sour soup. A light spice and enough vinegar to make your mouth pucker just a bit. I ordered the Mongolian Chicken with chow mien. The noodles had the perfect bite and chew. The Mongolian Chicken had a good soy based flavor with some heat from the peppers and onions. They include bell peppers in their mix which I am not a big fan. The ice cold beer in a chilled glass was also a nice touch. My Nana had the Princess Chicken with fried rice. Perfect chunks of fried chicken drenched in a sweet sauce. For lunch, the portion was huge. Impossible to finish in one sitting and leftovers are not always a good thing to carry around all day. Great flavors and service. I will be back.
