Madras Groceries - A One-Stop Shop for All Your Needs!We've completely shifted our grocery shopping to Madras Groceries because it has everything you could possibly need. The store is always filled with fresh fruits and vegetables, along with a wide range of well-known Indian masala brands and exotic rice varieties. A few years ago, the shop wasn't as impressive, with many empty racks, but now it's fully stocked and provides excellent customer service.The only reason I visit other Indian grocery stores is to buy poultry and meat since Madras Groceries is a vegetarian shop. Otherwise, I have no reason to go elsewhere. Plus, it's very close to my home, making it super convenient!

Bigger clean spacious market and what looks like a new cafe coming soon. The owner was very nice and funny . Got some good deals on malted milk powder that I like mixed with milk. Fresh vegetables and some cookware offering for everything I need from an Indian market.

This is a relatively new Indian grocery store... it is big and has mostly everything you need. We used to go to the other stores but now prefer this place as it has less foot traffic the stuff here is of good quality and the staff is friendly too... the good part is that I can get in and out in 5 mins and don't have to wait in line... some veggies might not be up to the mark but otherwise no complaints.

Madras Groceries takes over Bengal Tiger's space. interior looks similar. has produce, frozen/refrigerated products, spices, organic items, groceries, snacks, etc. an eatery will open soon.buys: "Moong Dal" (35 oz. 8.99) fried split mung pea snack-per the 1 cup serving size, it contributes an healthy low daily % of salts, fats, sugar.-doesn't taste salty, may be addictive.lots of parking in the lot. located in the back corner of the commercial space.

New Indian grocery place in Newark - in fact an year old. It's a great location. Very convenient for shoppers. Kind of big store, not completely utilized. And the Madras Cafe is coming up soon.Shopped here for the very first time this weekend. They got a fair inventory of Indian groceries. Mostly South Indian stuffs. Found almost all the pulses and variety of rices. The vegetable section was a bit disappointing. Though they have all kind of vegetables, the veggies didn't look fresh at all. Especially the leaves. Price matches with other Indian stores. They have couple of counters for checkout. Accepts apple pay as well. The staffs are helpful and nice. Decent place for grocery shopping!

This new indian store has become our go to store for all our groceries. It is very well maintained and a lot of varieties of groceries are available. It is really clean and specious. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We get easy parking too.
