Macu Tea - Berryessa

One of my favorite boba places in sj!I absolutely love love love the mango smoothie so much! It's so yummy and with the coconut milk and jelly it's just a chefs kiss! Parking is easy and they have seating inside. Ordering on the kiosk is easy and drinks come out pretty fast!

I love their grapefruit li li tea! I always go to Macu, wanting to try something different, but always end up with the grapefruit li li tea! I also add chi chi (salted cream) on top. Weird combo, but so delicious! Very refreshing - especially in the summer. The workers are always so kind too! There are a couple of tables/chairs, so it's a great place to hangout.

If you are looking for refreshing fruity tea drinks (aside from visiting Sunright Tea) head your way to Macu Tea. I love their grape smoothie with their tea jelly. the tea jelly is SO SO good. i have yet to find another place that has tea jelly. the tea jelly is so soft and the flavor of green tea in the jelly is so strong -- just makes the drink that much better with it. i'm not too crazy for the crystal boba, so i always ask to substitute it for tea jelly instead. their mango is also very delicious as well but my heart always goes back to Grape flavored one. i don't get the one with the cream on top but if you like those cheese top, do try it! i am waiting for Macu to expand to other cities like in Dublin!

I ordered pick up via door dash and only had to wait like 5 minutes. I was bummed because they had a promotion to buy 2 drinks and get a free tea in store. I already bought my 3 drinks so had I known I wouldn't have ordered via door dash so be sure to check out any promos.The shop is clean and has nice tables inside.My daughter got matcha tiramisu and she said matcha was good but it was more concept of tiramisu lol. The cookie part was more of sprinkling and she felt the cream didn't really taste like tiramisu.My other daughter got bo-bo mango and when I asked she said she didn't taste any mango only jelly lol. So be sure to mix well but they really do jam in the toppings.I got the QQ black tea and it was perfect. The jelly was on the sweeter side or maybe I've been having bland jelly before. Definitely want to come back to try some other drinks.

We came for the Taiwanese boba milk tea since we like this chain from Taiwan.I got the tieguanyin milk tea with boba and we got the orange mango lili tea holiday special and a QQ passionfruit green tea. We liked the tea and there was an option to order on the kiosk or at the register and you can adjust you ice and sugar levels. Staff were helpful and nice. I just wish they scooped a little more boba in my boba milk tea, but would come back for their more famous mango or grape drinks next time.

Love the mango smoothie here! My favorite thing to get here. It's always good amount of sweetness and it pairs well with the green tea jelly. I don't care for Bo-Bo and they were nice enough to remove it and reduce the price of the topping too! We for the deal for two mango smoothies to get a free winter melon drink (also good).There's a kiosk to order but can also order at the cashier. There's a few tables to sit but it's not a large space if you have a large group.

Definitely try the King of Mango smoothie! My friends and I love this place as they use fresh fruits to create their drinks and you can really taste the freshness. They have stacks of fresh fruit around the store so you know they use real ingredients. Give this place a try. I really recommend it! Easily one of the top 5 boba drink spots in south bay.

I was intrigued by the buzz surrounding this new boba place and decided to give it a try. The shop was quite busy on a Saturday afternoon, but the staff handled the crowd efficiently.I couldn't resist ordering the King of Mango smoothie with green tea jelly. The smoothie was a delightful blend of fresh mango, and the green tea jelly added a refreshing twist. The passion fruit tea was equally impressive, with a strong, tangy flavor.While the shop is cute, it's located in an area with other popular boba places like Tastea. Ultimately, I'm glad I chose to give this new spot a chance.

I was in the area for dinner so I decided to stop by afterward for their drinks. The sign outside promoting the "King of Mango Smoothie" was so enticing that I had to try one. There are limited seating inside but it was nearly empty on a Thursday evening.Service was quick and I promptly got my drink. The "drink" involved more chewing than I expected but overall I enjoyed it. Can't wait to come back to try more of their menu!

We ordered a black milk tea, tieguanyin oolong tea with boba, and a golden leaf tea with tea jelly. The milk teas were super sweet even at 50% and 30%, so then I recommend trying 10% if youre like me and dont enjoy it being too sweet. Boba was chewy and tea jelly was also a great topping. The golden leaf tea was not strong and a bit too thin for me. The black milk tea flavor was also okay. The star is the tieguanyin oolong and I highly recommend! The drink size is also huge. There wasnt much service aside from the employee handing us our drinks. Theres a self order kiosk so no comments on the service. The store is kind of plain and not very comfortable. The door was left open so heavy cigarette smoke wafted inside. It doesnt feel very comfortable to hangout inside.
